¿A victory?

The loud sound of rifles firing could be heard everywhere, humans were running all over the place shooting at every native they saw, driven by the fear of being shot dead.

However, human casualties had also been noted, with the sight of several people impaled on the walls with long arrows sticking through their torso.

In the sky, the C-21 was firing missiles, shooting down the banshees that were streaking across the sky, a feared and dominant force on the Warfield.

The C-21, commanded by several trained pilots, scowled as they flew the craft with great care, taking caution when firing so as not to injure the allies.

One turret operator was aiming at a banshee rider, and when he had him in his sights he tried to fire, only to be distracted when the balance inside the ship was lost.

"Rotor four loss!"

With the warning, everyone adjusted their oxygen filter, as the pilots did wonders to keep the ship airborne.

In the air, Aleyx flew over his banshee, watching as one of the C-21's rotors caught fire, causing the aircraft to lose altitude.

Aleyx, with the help of hand-held explosives obtained from the humans who had been lucky enough to die by his hands, took to the skies in search of shooting down the craft that was causing his troops to dwindle.

So with a lucky shot, he was able to drop a few explosives on one of the ship's rotors, causing it to stop firing for a moment, apparently more important now for its crew not to fall from the sky than to cause others to fall from it.

However, Aleyx paused long enough to see his handiwork, long enough to be noticed by the Samson planes that were having a heated aerial fight with the tribal horsemen.

One craft, seeing the distracted horseman, seized the opportunity, and firing unscrupulously, managed to shoot him down.

Aleyx, feeling severe pain, continued to hold on to his banshee, as it tried to have a controlled descent, it was a mistake, a big mistake, one that had now cost his mount his life.

So as he saw the ground getting closer and closer, he braced himself for the blow, and standing a few feet above the ground, he cut his tsaheylu, and leaping off his mount, he hit the ground, spinning a few times to break his fall and managing to evade the possible injuries he would have.

"No, no, nooo," Aleyx said to himself, as he said goodbye to his first mount, one that had accompanied him for several months, and though the period had been short, the connection they had made was far from short.

Looking up at the battle itself, he saw how the Na'Vi were beginning to fall back further and further, a product of the airships, which had managed to take out almost all the air riders, and while the hammerheads had wiped out almost all the ground threat, they could do nothing against the human ships, and while they had protective armor to guard them from gunfire and missiles, the Na'Vi and their mounts did not.

The Na'vi brains had no time to process the deaths of the creatures they were intimately connected to as they were torn apart by the missiles whose courses ended in their targets, sending blood and body parts into the air, and staining the sky red.

It was only the beginning and only the aerial part.

Rockets, bullets, arrows, and cannons began to be exchanged between the two sides, causing death to both, but one side had a clear advantage.

Regular arrows bounced off without damaging the planes, either their windscreen or metal armor, the banshee and their riders died, blood, limbs, organs, and more rained down if they were shot down or became charred fragmented bones if they were lucky when they were swept away by the missiles.

But the collectors were not unscathed either, dozens of their lighter aircraft had been shot down, and the gun crews atop the Samson and Dragon Assault Ship had no small amount of dead, their bodies impaled and if not, killed instantly.

The slinth poison imbued in the arrowhead did the rest, paralyzing skeletal muscles such as the diaphragm and giving the impression of boiling water in the veins, it promised and delivered an agonizing death.

Looking at all the death and destruction in his sight, Aleyx's face changed, showing enormous dread and fear, not for the surrounding disaster, but for the possibility of dying.

A feeling was realized when he saw an armed man, who upon seeing Aleyx, raised his rifle to shoot, only to receive two arrows in his body.

Aleyx, seeing what had happened, was surprised, then looked to see where the arrows were coming from, to observe his father, war paint all over his body and mounted on his palulukan.

Flashing a smile, Aleyx watched as thousands of warriors took to the skies, shooting down the human ships still in the sky, with even more coming from the ground.

Reinforcements had arrived... his father had come to him. So, rechecking his senses, Aleyx called out to his palulukan, watching as it approached him, passing over several people who tried unsuccessfully to kill him.

When his Thanator reached him, Aleyx climbed on top of him, causing him to head to where his father was. "You disobeyed me again" Sukai, Aleyx's father, said to him, as he looked at his son's wounds with a cold and sullen look, but to Aleyx who knew him, he knew he was worried.

"I protect Pandora, Dad, and I will die doing it." Sukai, showing a proud look, only told him a small sentence; "Yes, we will." "Let's hope not pron..." Aleyx didn't finish his sentence, as he saw gunshots hit his father, causing him to fall from his mount, and he began to drown in his blood.

"NO, father, no, don't leave me... help!" said Aleyx, watching as his father removed the necklace from his neck and handed it to him, and then began to close his eyes.
