Protection

Hinata walks toward Naruto's body with lifeless eyes. Ino looks at Naruto on the floor with blood with terrified eyes. Breathing became hard for her.

Tears fell from Kurenai's eyes as she fought back Zabuza with anger. She knows Ninjas aren't supposed to lose in their emotions but she doesn't fucking care about that now.

Kurenai's attacks become very ruthless with every passing time. Zabuza also feels more restrained than normal.

Haku didn't stop Hinata. He stands there and looks at her.

Hinata doesn't care about her well-being or fear of Zabuza. *Thud* Hinata fell to her knees and touched Naruto's body.

She shook a few times. "Naruto-Kun'' she said softly. But Naruto doesn't respond to her. She checks his pulse and finds out that he is alive.

As if, Hinata gets her life back. She was about to turn him to check his injury when a shout came from her back.

"Haku, finish quickly," Zabuza shouted from the back. He doesn't have any sympathy for his enemies.

Haku nodded and didn't give Naruto or Hinata a second to relax. He ran towards Naruto and Hinata to finish his job when suddenly he paused. He felt scared.

Hinata looks at him with veins around her eyes and anger in them. When Haku looked at those eyes, he felt like all of his secrets were open for her to read.

Hinata stood up and blocked Naruto and said "I will not let you harm Naruto-kun anymore."

Haku quickly calmed himself down and didn't heed his warnings of Hinata. He ran towards her again.

Hinata take the Eight trigram fist stances but a little different from the original and said "Absolute defence formation"

As soon as Haku came into her zone of defence, Hinata vanished from her place and appeared beside Haku and attacked his wrist, thigh and stomach at the same time.

This time she doesn't lack the intent behind her attack.

Haku's body stops and he feels like he can't move his body anymore. His chakra also stops following his chakra path.

Hinata's sudden outburst shocked everyone. Kurenai look at her eyes and murmur "eyes of insight"

Zabuza looked at those eyes and said "She is a Hyuga?" Kurenai rolls her eyes and looks at Zabuza as if she is looking at a retard. Who in the Ninja world has white eyes except for Hyuga.

Haku is also a master of acupoints. Though he can't completely recover, he can make enough adjustments to fight back.

After recovering a little he uses the same skill he uses on Naruto and makes ice mirrors and surrounds Hinata.

"Nothing can hide from me," Hinata said as he looked at the original mirror where Haku is. This made him worried about Hinata.

Ino also comes beside Naruto and checks his pulse. She sighs in relief seeing that he is alive. She looks at Haku inside the mirror angrily but the way she is now she can't do anything.

This is the first time she feels so angry toward her past self. 'If I had trained harder then I could have fought like Hinata.'

Ino tightens her fist so hard that her nail dug into her palm and blood came out.

Haku tried to attack Hinata from all directions as he did with Naruto but to his bad luck he is against a Hyuga. No, princess of Hyuga.

Hinata deflects all of Haku's attacks easily and counterattacks with her own attack. Fist to fist, kick with a kick. And every time Hinata will disrupt Haku's chakra path.

Just a minute later the ice mirror vanished and Haku fell to the ground. He can't keep up with her attack anymore. Her every attack will hit his chakra path.

Zabuza looks at Haku on the ground and becomes angry. "Useless piece of shit, can't even do one job properly."

Zabuza uses all of his strength and attacks Kurenai. She dodges his attack as she falls back a little. Zabuza uses the chance to run toward Hinata.

"You bitch, trying to stop my mission," Zabuza said angrily as he pulled his sword down towards her with full power.

Kurenai looked on in horror. She doesn't want to lose any more of her students. She also ran toward Zabuza with all of her energy but it seems she won't be able to make it.

Hinata didn't fear this time. She still blocks Naruto behind her. She is ready to sacrifice her life to protect Naruto.

Ino also hugs Naruto, she isn't hesitant anymore. She will do the same for her comrades.

Just when Zabuza's sword was about to cut Hinata in two the sword vanished with the hand of Zabuza holding the sword.

"Yare, yare. I was taking a nap and someone tried to act all high and mighty?"

Blood starts to come out of Zabuza's hand like a fountain. He quickly holds the cut in place and stops the blood from coming out.

Hinata who was ready to die became shocked when she saw the sword which was about to cut her disappear from her sight.

Kurenai, who was running with all her might, looks at Hinata who is fine and sighs in relief.

Ino looks at the front astonishingly. As for Tazuna, the reason for all of this is still hiding behind a log and looking at the fight but it is too fast for him.

Everyone then looks at the place where the voice comes from.

They saw an orange-haired boy standing at the back of Zabuza while holding a wooden sword in one hand and the big sword of Zabuza in another. But what is more surprising is Zabuza's hand is still holding the sword tightly.

"Naruto X3!?"

Ino looked down and saw that there is no sign of Naruto in her arm. As if he wasn't here. But the blood is still on her hand, which means that wasn't a dream.

Hinata looks at Naruto and starts to cry. She ignored Zabuza in front of her run towards Naruto. She hugged him from behind and cried loudly.

Naruto turned around and patted her back and said "don't cry. Didn't I tell you that I am not easy to kill?"

Hinata cried but nodded her head. "But I was scared."

Kurenai and Zabuza look at Naruto seriously. They are shocked at his speed. They, a Jonin class fighter, can't even see him moving? What does this mean?

It's clear that Naruto is a lot stronger, or at least faster than them.

Kurenai looks at Naruto as if she is looking at the Fourth Hokage, the yellow flash of Konoha.

Naruto looks at Zabuza and asks "do you want to continue?"

Zabuza holds his hand tightly and stops the blood and grits his teeth as he looks at Naruto.

Naruto looked at him expressionlessly and said "Gato isn't gonna keep his promise anyway. If you stay anymore, he will come for your head."

Zabuza sneers, he isn't afraid of Naruto. He was trained as a killing machine from a young age. How can he be afraid of death?

Just when he was about to reply, he looked at one point of the bridge. He can see Gato is coming with lots of men with him.

He looks at Naruto from the corner of his eyes and understands that he didn't lie to him.

Kurenai and Ino come beside Naruto. They checked his wound and saw that there was nothing in there, not even a mark. As if he wasn't injured in the first place.

Kurenai looked at Naruto seriously but didn't ask or say anything now. She also looks forward and looks at Gato and his gang.
