269 Naruto’s Killing intent?

Sakura VS Ino, Tie

Naruto's face twitches when he sees the catfight. Hinata smiles worriedly as she looks at the two.

Naruto thought that this time it would be a little different as he had trained Sakura for a few months. But it seems they wanted to express their feelings by brawling.

Naruto shakes his head and decides to not waste any of his brain cells thinking about it.

He will teach them a lesson later. Especially Sakura, she lost his face here. 'I guess she is not completely serious yet.'

As for Ino, she will become strong when he starts to train her. And he is her teammate too, also her future hus*cough* comrades.

Naruto VS Kiba

"I forfeit." Kiba immediately declared. None of the students seemed surprised by his declaration. They even agreed with him in their heart.

"Did we miss something?" Asuma ask

Kakashi only glances at Naruto once and then continues to read his book. Kurenai smiles and shakes her head.

*cough* *cough* "Naruto wins."

"Next match, Hinata Hyuga VS Neji Hyuga"

'Brother' Hinata thought as she saw her opponent's name.

Neji comes to the fight arena and waits for Hinata to come. Naruto looks at Hinata and smiles a little. Hinata smiled too. She took a deep breath and went downstairs to face Neji.

"I suggest you forfeit Hinata-sama," Neji said seriously.

Hinata shook her head and said, "I won't."

Neji is a little surprised by her resolve. Neither can he see the familiar uncertainty and hesitation in her eyes.

Hinata doesn't want to continue the conversation. She took her usual fighting style.

Seeing her, Neji also took the stance. But he was surprised when he saw her not doing the usual Hyuga taijutsu technique.

But Neji didn't think much of it. He runs towards her faster and uses his palm to attack her. Hinata doesn't panic.

She looks at him calmly as Naruto always trains her to stay calm and focused. She has trained with Naruto day and night for months.

When Neji appears close to her she moves her body a little and accepts his attack and moves back with his force. But she didn't move her hand from it.

Next to everyone's surprise she moves her body again a little and then transfers the same amount of force she got from Neji to him by her other hand.

Neji also blocks it but he is surprised by the forces. Though it was weaker than his, it was still a lot stronger.

He doesn't stay surprised for long and starts to attack her more fiercely. Hinata also received his attack with gentle force and returned it with strong force.

The more Neji fights, the more shocked he becomes. To him, it's like he is running against sea waves. He is strong but the resistance is hard too.

Neji stops the fight and looks at Hinata surprisingly. It's not just him, others in the crowd are surprised too. They had never seen a technique like this before.

Hinata's confidence increases when she sees that she can resist Neji.

Kakashi, Gai, and Asuma look at Kurenai surprisingly. They didn't know that Kurenai knew such a technique.

Kurenai's face turns red as she understands everyone's meaningful eyes. She is shy because it's not her who teaches Hinata this technique.

Kurenai looks at Naruto in the crowd and thinks 'I will teach you a lesson after this match, you little brat. How dare you hide this from me?'

Naruto suddenly feels a chill behind his back and looks at Kurenai. He sees her grinning at him with a dark face.

He understands that he will receive a beating soon. So he avoids her eyes and looks at the fight as he sweats like a bullet.

Neji now got serious and said "Playtime is over. Forfeit now when you have the chance."

Hinata replies by activating her Byakugan. Neji shakes his head and activates his Byakugan. He looks at Hinata and starts his destiny speech.

Naruto looked at Neji and murmured 'You better not go too far, or I will show you hell on Earth when we match up.'

Sasuke, who was not far from him, heard him. He looks at Neji and prays for him in his heart.

"I will change it," Hinata said with resolve. Sasuke looks at Hinata and nods in approval. Kurenai also has a little smile at the corner of her eyes.

Neji shook his head and said, "You are too weak to change one's Destiny."

This time his attack is fast and ruthless. Even though Hinata improved a lot, she didn't have enough time to get strong enough to fight a prodigy like Neji.

Neji still defeats her but not as easily as the original. But when he tries to give the finishing blow he stops.

He stopped rooted to his ground. Because just for that split second he saw 'Death'. Yes, he saw his head fly off from his body.

Kakashi appears beside Naruto and says casually "Interference during the match is not allowed".

Naruto looks at Kakashi and says "Who decides that?"

"Naruto," Kurenai said loudly.

No one knows what happened, except those who are Jonin or higher level. Because only they have strong enough sense.

If Kakashi didn't intervene then Neji would have died.

"Neji wins, Next match….."

Naruto stops looking at Kakashi and goes to Hinata. She is not severely injured. She is just tired and has only a few brushes.

Naruto smiles and says "Next time you will win."

Hinata smiles and nods her head. A drop of tear also fell from her eyes. She is not sad but happy.

Naruto smiles and heals her using the medical ninjutsu and sends her to rest.

Ino looks at Naruto and asks "What did you do? Why did Kakashi Sensei stop you?"

Sasuke beside her sneered and said, "If Kakashi Sensei didn't stop him, this dumbass would have killed that Neji guy."

Ino was taken aback when she heard him. She looks at Naruto and asks "really?"

Naruto laughed and said "of course not. He is family."

Ino now looks confused. But Nauro looks at Sasuke and says with a sunny smile "you are getting cocky huh? It seems I need to increase the intensity of your training."

Sasuke ignores him and goes to watch the match. But he looked tired. It seems fighting with the curse seal is not easy.

Kakashi also noticed this. He walks to Sasuke and tells him something as they leave together.

The preminally round finally finished with Rock Lee's defeat at the hand of Gaara.

This fight was the most exciting one among all the matches. Naruto is happy that he got to experience this epic fight personally.

As for how the match-up was the same as the original? Of course Naruto made sure that the matches went according to the show so that he could enjoy some of the epic battles.

Naruto also got to learn a lot of techniques from different villages and also got a few interesting new information which wasn't in the show.
