"Are you gonna keep it? What are you gonna name it! Its so adorable!"

The Trio of Trouble had found me. They had brought a wrapped ball of what I assume to be the Sloth Pelt I asked for. Phil had looked in the cage and seen the Baby Bull Sloth. It was still the size of a middle schooler, but it was certainly a baby. It snored quietly under the darkness of the blanket.

"I don't know if the General would let me keep him, and also no..and he is isn't he. The eyes are a little off putting but hes cute in the ugly sort of way."

"Like Dave!"

"Wh-What?!?"

"Here's the Pelt by the way. Perhaps if you do keep it, the pelt will make it think you are its mother?"

"Oh god I hope not! I don't wanna be like a mom. My mom was terrible!"

It was true, but it did allow me to get a free pass into doing whatever. "So, I have to get to the General and show him this. Do you guys mind heling me carry this to his tent?"

"Are we allowed to enter?"

"Dave! Orin is now technically a superior officer if he says we can... we can!"

"Phil isn't allowed to enter. Don't want him touching the General's stuff..."

Dave and Greg nodded, while Phil slumped over looking hurt.

"I'll be good I swear! I just wanna see the inside!"

Ultimately we agreed on Phil being held while entering the tent. With their help we carried the cage and chest to the General's tent. It would have taken forever by myself, so they were helpful.

"Phil and Dave are waiting outside. They are hoping to get praised for helping. Do you need anymore help?"

"Yeah, Greg could you help me sort this stuff inside this chest into information about spirits the nations or bending knowledge?"

"Sure, I would rather do that then be the third wheel between those two."

"You think they are Gay?"

"Uhhh... Don't tell anyone that but yeah. I don't want to see them hurt or anything. Despite their problems they were my friends since we were kids. Those two always seemed to have a... I don't know? Connection?"

"Honestly the fact you are there with them usually and combined you guys cause so much trouble I think it disguises that. Making most think you three are all just close friends. Though the fact you guys are childhood friends certainly helps."

"Yeah, One day I hope they can get together. The previous Fire Lord put a ban on things like that. Sometimes when I hear about the stories of the air nomads, I think those two should've been some."

I could agree on that, I knew how the air nomads were. The show depicted them as playful and free. I imagined they also had much less strict ideas about love and relationships. The most conservative thing they had was the separated gender temples. I couldn't mention that though instead I just continued sorting.

"You think the fire nation will ever change?"

"Honestly it may get me killed one day, but I think if prince Zuko became fire lord it would change Orin. Azula would likely be a tyrant if she ruled... Zuko though, maybe he would change it for the better. I think he just needs some time, maybe even to just fall in love I don't know. Something perspective?"

"Well according to rumor he was banished with his Uncle. He's supposed to be highly skilled and very understanding. I heard he went to the spirit world during his travels around the world."

"Hmmm, Well thanks for the talk Orin. Sometimes I gotta get away from those two, we pretty much got everything sorted. I'm going to wait with them I hope you like the cloak by the way. I made a belt to go with it as well."

Greg then left and let me be. I heard him greet his two friends outside. It was never talked about, but the laws of the avatar world excluded many things that my past life struggled with. There was literally no racism surprisingly, it was more bendingist? People hated each other by whether they could bend or what element they could bend. Relationship laws weren't very established except the Fire nation which made things a weird shame between the lines kind of thing.

I sighed, I would need to let that go. I returned to the scrolls just reading them and returning them to the sorted piles. Reading through them I collected what insights I could. If I could visit Wan Shi Tong's library I would gain incredible amounts of insights.
