Avatar: Lion Turtles Champion

Four lion turtles spoke in his mind. In this turn of events the lion turtle couldn't pass on energy bending to aang. Spirit shit

It took a total of 5 days for Azula to call for my presences. However all through out that time I kept getting notifications. A random +1 or -1 to both Affection and Psyche. It seemed she was having a internal debate through out the entire time she left me to my own.

"So Azula you wanted me?"

"Get the supplies."

"No word play? Are you okay."

She wasn't facing me, so I didn't have the ability to see her face. "I will join you on the docks shortly."

"Why not just walk with me?"

"You have a pet don't you? Get some free roaming and all that."

I was a little startled by her tone of voice. It sounded similar to mine honestly. She was using the way I organize my speech. "Ar-Are you copying the way I speak."

"What are you saying? That is completely foolish, go do your job."

"Alright, Alright! Just thought it was cute. After all turns of a phrase is picked up by environment."

I left quickly after only seeing the farmed affection points. It was odd to hear her try and take a looser more informal way of speaking to me. I wasn't all to sure on formal linguistics, however I knew that a short summary was that once one finds a way of speaking it is actually hard to stray from that. Like the use of certain slang or mix of figurative speech patterns.

For her to actually...Wait... Could she be copying my way of speaking in order to investigate me? Thinking about it that could be entirely true. I was an oddity, specially with me using possible unheard proverbs or metaphors. Thinking on it I said bullet the other day. The word Bullet wouldn't have a real context here. Missile maybe referring to arrows, but no bullets.

I got Lime and we walked out. His fluffy black hair needed to be cut. Perhaps I could get some time to do that while we were docked. I couldn't exactly see his legs, where they started. Which could be a problem for his health.

Damn so many things to think about.

"Hey, where are you going?"

Hio walked up to the docking mechanism with me. "Punishment for something I did the other day. Gotta load all the supplies by myself."

"Is that why I was told to watch you? You are a symbol of bad luck I think."

"Thanks, the worst good luck sometimes can be more disappointing than the best bad luck."

"That's not what I meant."

"I know what you meant, I just don't care."

We heard gears churning, and a few different machines shifting. The sounds of the giant ship pulling up to the dock. After that the docking mechanism began to lower and the sunlight poured into the cargo bay.

"It feels good, let's get started. Lime you get the heavy stuff. If we get this stuff quickly we can go see about some hair cuts."

"You are gonna give him a hair cut?"

"Yeah, I mean not like Bull Sloth's shed."

He looked a little sweaty. "A ton of people had animal companions, why was everyone so obtuse about me having one."

"Not everyone has one of those most feared animals ever. Nine-Eyed Bull Sloth's aren't called man-eaters for nothing. They aren't that common and can be pretty easy to take down, but they are still around from ancient times. While spirits and creatures like the dragons were hunted down. One of the many reasons why they are so often times completely avoided."

That was a head scratch-er, While I grabbed a box Hio followed behind me. Watching me place each crate or barrel in an organized system. "You think there is something special about it?"

He shrugged, "Honestly one of the reasons I wanted to become a fire priest was so I could have access to their libraries. The ancient stories of Massive leviathan sized spirits are never explored. Bull-sloths might have some sort of guardian spirit that doesn't allow them to die off. While animals like dragons are able to be killed due to their direct connection to the spirit world."

"Hio, That sounds like avatar shit." I wanted to phrase my next words carefully... "Do you suppose there is some sort of meta balance for the spirits? Like some sort of Law of Order and Chaos?"

"Oh boy, this is getting a little...Maybe? I mean, hmmm. When I was studying to become a priest acolyte, I came across a theory connecting the idea of species extinctions to the connection of animal companions to Avatar reincarnations. Though I didn't hear too much about it due to it being a theory proposed by an earth kingdom study of anthropology."

"I think we should stop discussing this because I fear we are slowly getting to far into this."

"Agreed. Uhh, How are you sorting these?"

"Food, Parts, Luxury items, and Other items which generally break down into personal items."

"One of those seems to be for you actually. That trunk there."

I looked to where he pointed and saw the Trunk he was referring to. It was the one Admiral Zhao used to store the documents he stole from Won Shi Tong's Library. It must've been sent to me by General Lee. How strange...
