New assignments

i heard General Lee greet the trio outside. He ended up praising them for their help. He Must've known I would need to move something or that I was friends with them because they didn't even get a chance to bring it up. He knew they reputation for trouble, because he dismissed them and warned them about causing any havoc before he entered the tent.

"I am glad you got help Orin, but i gotta say are those 3 alright? They seemed like the were going to explode or something."

"Hello sir, Phil was basically hoping he could get promoted in some way, Dave i don't understand as much. Greg was just there to hang with his friends. Did you know they were friends when they were just kids."

"You say that like you are not a kid yourself?"

"I hold my self to a high maturity."

"Fair enough, What all do you have? Well I left it mainly to theses scrolls that quite frankly I don't think he's supposed to have. The second is the time in which his men snuck out of camp to kidnap whats under this blanket."

"Is that a cage?"

I removed the blanket slightly leaving it open so he could see.

"A Bull Sloth Pup, no wonder the big one was rampaging all over the place. Bull sloth's have a terrible reputation, but are fairly rare due to their low birth rates. This also means the Parent Bull Sloths will kill everything in the surrounding area to protect their young. Bull Sloth's are called man-eaters but they are actually omnivores. Kidnapping the child is basically poaching. I never really liked Zhou...and thanks to his men's actions being blamable... Good work nonetheless Orin."

"Thank you General, Now I suppose I just have to wait for the ambush mission in the next 3 days."

"Ah...About that Orin, you have been transferred. it was completely unexpected, but it was a request from the fire lord himself so I couldn't put it off. It seems he gathered a bunch of prodigies together to...fight for a spot on his daughter's crew. If you fail to get into the top five it seems you will be executed...."

"..."

"..."

"What! The! FUCK?!"

"Yeah, in his letter. It read only the best may work under the #1 prodigy of the fire nation. Under performers deserved nothing more to crumble under the feet of others. Those who do not compare will be permanently removed from the fire nation. It seems he wants to create an elite team of prodigies led by his daughter. Something like that at least, it wasn't really mentioned in the letter. All honesty it might be because a captain on her ship slipped up and was pushed overboard."

"I Don't Even Know How To Respond Sir..."

"Wow you just went Nomadic there! I don't blame you, I am pretty sure you will due fine, but i am gonna give you this warning now. Do not use all your cards in these fight. Its a pointless competition, from what I could gather from the grape vine even those who lose will have a chance to get a spot on her crew and in turn survive being executed. Pets are even allowed, and since you killed that Momma Bull Sloth you just gained one. After all the Bull Sloth is relatively endangered, might as well keep this pup safe. You can even name it."

"A tournament..." I sighed, hoooow cliche! I wanted to cry teats of blood. Yet, Couldn't bring myself too since that would be highly impossible.

General Lee was right about the Bull Sloth though, and even the trio mentioned the naming...I wasn't very good at names though. Perhaps I'd name it Little Nine Eyes or something. Maybe name him Line based on the the Letters of L N E? No sounded to weird for me...

"LIME!"

"Is that what your naming it?"

Did I say that aloud? Whoops, wait did General Lee just navigate my thoughts away from being executed?

"Di-Did you just navigate me away from the being executed part?"

"heh! Well you might as well grab the cage and skiddadale! I'll search through these documents, depending on what you find maybe something special will come out of it for you."

I grabbed the cage and left, I guess I had sometime until I would be picked up for this tournament thing. Might as well get Lime used to me if I'm going to make him my pet. I wondered if I would be able to ride him as a vehicle like other animals in Avatar one day. Would be pretty neat.

"Oh right, you will be picked up in two days and the travel will take a month or two to get to the Su Yong city where the...tournament happens."

It seemed he also thought it was a bit over the top. I nodded and went on my way. It seemed I would have a month to get Lime to like me.

----so begins a jump cut, not actually next chapter will be him saying good by to the trio(they'll be back) and a bit about him on the boat and his appearance.----
