Killer Tasks

When i got the list of tasks General Lee suggested I do to make a name for myself, I nearly cried. I read the List down.

**There's a man-eating nine-eyed Bull Sloth within the forest harassing local supply routes.

**Captain Zhao an established elite fire bender would be visiting soon within the week. Challenging the Captain to an Agni Kai would certain establish your own skills.

**An Earth nation army encampment was found down hill, currently we are hidden from them. Being able to gather intel, destroying the encampment, and capturing or killing any soldiers could show various skills.

**The siege across the Siagu Mountains will begin in about 2 weeks, preforming well during the attack will be an easy promotion.

~Come to me after completing one of these and I will have a test for you, complete that test and I will personally send a letter of approval to various important people who may help you for your future.~

The list was a bit extreme, but I assume the order I do them and the coordination I do them in mattered. I would wait for Captain Zhao to arrive and challenge him, by doing this I hoped to gain a little respect among the other soldiers. After that I would attack the earth bender encampment, I would do this by hopefully using my win on Zhao to get some of the other soldiers to wait within the trees and attack any earth benders who tried to run. I want to capture all of them and avoid killing as much as possible. So having those extra soldiers meant I didn't need to hunt and kill anyone unnecessarily. After that I would hunt down the Bull Sloth, I would be able to go all out since wouldn't need to worry about alerting those Earth nation soldiers. Finally after the Bull Sloth if the siege wasn't started I would go to General Lee for his test. Once I had the chance to show off in the siege with proper permission, I would succeed in this set up.

For now I would practice lightning, I was able to form the lightning but once it left my hands it exploded. This meant I either needed to figure out how the fire benders in Korra used lightning bending or I needed to find something to focus on like the Fire nation's royal family. If I wanted to use lightning bending the royal family way I had to have the intention to kill. I wasn't sure if I had that ability, I hadn't killed anyone yet. Severely injure or permanently maim yes, but killing was not something I had done. I had a few other ideas to boost my fire bending but hadn't really suspected them to work yet. Combustion bending was possible by super-heating air then launching the attack, I hadn't needed the special marking to actually preform the sub-bending as I suspected at least. The second Idea never appeared in any form, but using other bending types as a basis I was pretty sure it was possible. I wanted to pull the heat from the air causing it to freeze, after that preforming any attack after would have devastating affects. Not only would it cause a dangerous reaction to occur but any heat I pulled out of the air would boost the strength of my next attack. Finally a possibly impossible state of my fire bending, but would be radical ability would be able to bend a fire that could freeze. I heard of fires that were cold, but to freeze something with fire would be epic. Put that in combination to water bending and air bending I could likely bend the weather in any way I wanted. For now though I continued to practice Lightning bending.
