3 Years pasts

A few years have pasts since I was born.

During that period I started to learn the language that they are speaking and writing in this world.

But that ain't the main thing that I've learned. The main thing is the lifestyle, I thought things would be super boring, coming to another world where technology isn't as advanced as they were back home. No phones, no games, no computers, and all the entertainment on the internet.

Surprisingly, that wasn't the case at all, I got no chance to even get bored since I got here. A whole new culture, traditions, and much more things to learn about is kind of fun. Not to mention the airbending and other new kinds of stuff that didn't exist in my previous life. It feels like I can live like this for a long time.

That was until I unexpectedly learned things at a much faster rate than others. One thing is probably because I was mentally older than my peers, but I can feel my mind think faster and better than I have ever experienced before as I grow up. The same with my body, it's much more durable and I can last a longer period without food as my body naturally absorbs the nutrients and other things from plants that they feed me.

At 3 years old, they started to teach me airbending along with the other kids.

I mean, are they serious? Teaching 3-year-olds about air bending?

But what I thought was going to be an airbending lesson with fighting turned out to be about meditation and the philosophy behind airbending.

From what I learned about it is that air is the element of freedom. We, air nomads, detach ourselves from other world concerns and find peace and freedom.

While I do not fully agree with their philosophy, I can understand it.

With the continued lesson I came up with a goal for myself in this life.

I'll live to be as free as I can and want to while keeping peace when necessary. If that means that I have to change the plot of the original story then so be it. But one thing that is the most important is that I cannot let myself be burdened by trying to keep the peace at all times for therefore I wouldn't be free in that case.

First things foremost, I must master Airbending while I can.

The first lesson of actual exercise of the movement of an Airbender started when I was 4 years old and it is by learning from a tool the fundamental aspects of airbending.

"The goal of this exercise is to weave yourself through these spinning gates without touching them. The key to mastering this exercise is to be the leaf by doing what a leaf would do." The monk explained and stopped to look at the kids and continued

"How would you be like a leaf in this exercise?"

He continued to look at the kids but only to be met but confusing looks. However as he turned to look at me, he began to smile "Neng, would you like to try and explain?"

"..." I looked at his face with a deadpanned expression before continuing to explain.

"The leaf would flow with the movement of the gates and the wind caused by them." I sat up and did a sign that said 'if you would' to which the air nomad responded by airbending the gates to make them spin.

I walked up to the spinning gates and began to concentrate, closing my eyes and feeling the wind against my skin I began to maneuver through the gates slowly letting the sound of the wind and the feel of the current guide me through it.

Halfway through the gates, I summed up the thoughts that were going through my head "To be the leaf, I must move in spiral movements to imitate the spinning leaf and let the wind guide me through the gates. When the leaf meets resistance, it changes directions in an instant, therefore, I too must be able to feel the wind and change whenever I feel a resistance."

At the end of my speech, I had reached the end of the gates and slowly started to return to the other kids.

"I see that you have understood the fundamentals of airbending this early. Good job Neng meet me after the lesson" he said in which I simply bowed down and put my fist to my palm in front of myself and said, "yes, of course."

The main reason I was able to this was probably that I trained in a lot of different things in my life; Parkour was the main thing I trained in until my friends and I hurt ourselves badly shooting pov shots. My injury wasn't as bad as some of theirs, but I did break my foot. Though that doesn't compare to a fractured neck. With my previous experience in parkour and my new senses and abilities, I could do the movements needed much easier.

...

I arrived at the place where I was told to go to and excused myself into the room filled with air nomads that had blue arrow tattoos.

Making myself comfortable by sitting down in a crossed position with my hands on my knees I said "You called for me?"

The monks in the room all looked at me and the teacher I had for today began to talk "We have all observed your incredible talent in airbending and extraordinary intelligence. With the way you are currently developing now, we would like to give you an offer." He paused for a moment and looked towards the oldest and most respected air nomad in the Southern Air Temple as the said person began speaking, "Come with us to the Southern Air Temple and receive special guidance from us. The spiritual connection between this and the spirit world is the strongest over there and we think that you would benefit greatly from it."

I listened carefully and shortly after he finished, I spoke "I would with much pleasure accept this generous offer of special guidance."

"Great, we will depart in a couple of days"

A few days later I arrived at the Southern Air Temple.

...

Kinda wanna skip through all these years so we can reach the beginning of the ATLA story. Nonetheless, I want to explore one more thing that is necessary for the story

While writing this I came up with a super interesting idea that would be so fun to read.

Gate scenario where a gate opens up to a different world. However, the world is like ATLA, Naruto, and a lot of different worlds. You could make it so the people from the normal world, know that it's from different stories. Would be fun imo
