Auxiliary Immortal

The world of immortal cultivation was always a grand one, filled with powerful swordsmen who could cut planets in half, divine doctors who could bring the dead back to life, and naturally the beautiful female cultivators who's single glance could stop the hearts of thousands of mortal men. Unfortunately for Minos, a poorly talented handy-man disciple of the Green Barrel Sect, that was a life he was destined to never know. That was until he figured out he actually was talented, though not in the conventional ways!

Minos's Experiences

From making a deal with the guilds, to creating his first Rovo factory, to buying his first store and selling his first Rovo, all the way up to his establishment of the Rovo Enterprise, which created much of the products Aleph City used nowadays.

Minos told them everything, their eyes shining as they listened closely to Minos's legendary experience from nothing to everything.

"Dad, you're amazing!" Rinka said with shining eyes, her father never failing to impress her.

"I never doubted you." Tinka giggled, giving her husband a big kiss.

"I told you two that I'd get you everything you ever wanted, so tell me, what do you both want?" Minos asked with a smile, causing Rinka's eyes to shine even more.

"Dad, I want my own demon beast pet! One that's beautiful and can fly!" Rinka said, having wanted one ever since she saw one at the sect.

"A beautiful flying demon beast, huh? No problem." Minos smiled, rubbing his daughter's head.

"I already have everything I've ever wanted." Tinka smiled, snuggling further into her husband's chest.

Smiling, Minos kissed the top of his wife's head, enjoying the rest of the trip with peace of heart and mind, finally having his family back.

Back in Aleph City, the large flying-boat slowly descended onto the roof of a massive palace, Minos helping his wife and daughter off the ship before leading them into his home.

Looking at the palace that was far more luxurious than anything she had ever seen at the sect, Rinka's eyes glittered, never having expected that she would ever experience a life like this one.

"Which room would you like, Rinka?" Minos asked his daughter with a smile, naturally noticing the shine in her eyes as she looked around.

"A big one, with a view!" She said after a little thought.

"Hmm, I think I have something in mind." Minos said, leading the two towards a large room near the back of the palace.

After reaching the room, Minos swung open the large double-doors, revealing a massive room with a bed so big that it would make a king-sized one look like it belonged to a toddler.

Besides that, there was a large walk out balcony that oversaw the huge backyard garden with every flower imaginable.

On top of that, there was a massive walk-in closet which was so big that it was akin to a room of its own.

However, the true highlight of the room was the bathroom, which was decked with a massive inground tub, shower, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam-room.

"What do you think?" Minos asked after the short tour, though the look on his daughter's eyes was enough to show how satisfied she was.

"I thought the place I lived in back at the sect was nice, but compared to this, it's like a pigsty!" Rinka said as she jumped around happily, touching everything in this new room of hers.

"Hey, the room is only a small part, you've still got to see the lounge, that's where the real fun is." Minos said with a laugh, causing his daughter to get even more excited.

"Let's go, let's go, let's go, I want to see it!" Rinka said excitedly, seemingly having been born for a lifestyle like this.

"Me and your mom still have to talk, so I'll have one of the maids give you a full tour." Minos said, clapping his hands three times as he re-entered the hall, causing a few maids to quickly gather towards him.

"Refa, you've always done me well and I trust your character, so from now on, you will be my daughter, Rinka's, personal maid, everything she asks, you get it done, understood?" Minos said.

"Yes, Master!" Refa said happily, realizing this was akin to a promotion.

"Good, then the rest of you get back to work, me and Tinka have business to attend to." Minos smiled as he looked at his wife, causing her to blush and avert her eyes.

With the two of them leaving to do heaven knows what, Rinka wasn't shy at all, immediately getting to the point.

"Refa, is it? My dad mentioned something about a lounge, I want to see that first."

"Of course Miss Rinka, right this way." Refa said with a bow, before guiding Rinka.

As the two walked through the massive estate, Rinka couldn't help but look around in admiration and wonder, amazed at how her father managed to do so much in only five years time.

"Refa, you must interact with my father often, what's he like?" Rinka asked curiously, feeling like her father had become a completely different person in this time.

"Oh, Master Minos is very generous and kind, never once scolding or punishing any of us maids, not to mention the pay is much higher as well. It's truly my greatest fortune to be working for him." Refa said sincerely.

"Is that so? And what about the average citizen, what do you think they think of my father?"

"They love him! Master Minos is incredibly popular among the average folk, some would even argue more popular than the emperor himself, of course it's best you never mention that part out loud."

"Really? What did he do to make him so popular?" Rinka asked with surprise.

"Lots of things. From his many charities that help the homeless, hungry, and sick, to his free schooling projects that offer higher education to anyone with the determination to pursue it."

"Beyond that, his many businesses are well known for offering some of the highest pay in the city and their working conditions are impeccable, a standard Master Minos himself makes sure is always maintained at the highest level possible."

"He's done all that?" Rinka replied with even more shock.

"You aren't the first to react like that, in fact some people even go so far as to say that Master Minos is an angel descended from the heavens." Refa responded with a giggle before continuing.

"In fact, that's only a small portion of what he's done, I'd have to talk for the rest of the day to get through it all, but I don't want to bore you."

"Nothing boring about it! Tell me more." Rinka said, incredibly interested by her fathers escapades.

While he himself had told her a bit, it was more of a summary which left her with the feeling that she was still missing a lot, so now that she had Refa to tell her everything, she didn't want to miss it.

"Well, alright, if you insist…" Like that, Refa and Rinka walked slowly towards the lounge as Refa slowly told Minos's story.

The journey to the lounge which should have only taken a couple minutes ended up lasting a full hour, Rinka's eyes shining brighter and brighter as she learned more about her father.

While she could easily spend the rest of the day listening, she was knocked out of her daydreaming by a loud knock at the door, causing her to crinkle her face in annoyance.

"Who is that, and why are they knocking so loud?"

"My apologies, the lounge is close to the main entrance, so I suppose we got unlucky." Refa said, slightly embarrassed.

"It's alright, I don't blame you, but do you know who they are?"

"Well based on the past, it's likely that it's the Crown Prince."

"Crown Prince? He visits often?" Rinka asked curiously, knowing that the Crown Prince was just one-step below the Emperor himself, so despite Minos's influence, it was still odd for such a figure to visit regularly.

"Well the Royal Family has the highest stake in the company right behind your father, so the Crown Prince often comes to talk business." Refa explained.

"Is that so? But even then, it feels like it would be more appropriate for my father to visit him…" Rinka said, wondering what her dad had done to make such a prestigious figure lower himself.

"Not necessary, this may be treacherous to say, but if the Emperor is the body of the empire, then your father has long since become the heart, pumping the vital nutrients throughout."

Despite having already gotten used to being shocked, these words still nearly caused Rinka to jump, after all, it was akin to saying that her father was only slightly weaker, if not as powerful, as the Emperor himself.

Before Rinka could ask more questions, a butler had already opened the large front entrance, causing her to redirect her attention towards the outside.

There she saw a dozen large guards, each encircling a hidden figure that was likely the Crown Prince in question.

"The Crown Prince has come to visit!" The guard at front said in a roar-like voice, before him and the others split the way, revealing the already quite tall Crown Prince, Minos.

Seeing the figure that was revealed, Rinka couldn't help but step back as her face went pale, her heart beating rapidly as she questioned her eyes.

There she saw the splitting image of her father, just aged a decade or so in reverse, which made her feel like she had been caught in an illusion.

Quickly catching herself, Rinka calmed herself down before Refa noticed anything amiss, her pale face regaining color as she tried to understand what she was currently seeing.

"Refa, the Crown Prince… He looks a lot like… Well you know."

"Your father? I was shocked at first when I found out as well, but only a few hand-selected people are aware of Master Minos's true appearance, and we're all under strict confidentiality to never reveal it." Refa said in a whisper.

"Is that so? Then if you don't mind me asking, what do you think about this?" Rinka asked, wondering if everyone had come to the same conclusion as her.
