CHAPTER III

The autopsy room was long and rectangular with seven tables. Frank was surrounded by the dead bodies for performing autopsies. The residents wore long rubber gloves and industrial-strength aprons. The sound of their voices and their clanking instruments echoed in the room.In the autopsy room there was blood everywhere.Handling different organs, weighing them, measuring them, taking samples, and then replacing them in the open corpses. Blood streamed down the troughs that surrounded each table.

Frank and Tommy were too tired and decided to have Margaret's autopsy done as fast as possible.

Frank was inspecting each and every part of the body just then he noticed that the collar bone and the wrist bone was broken. To be more descriptive the out part of the skin didn't prove that this lady had any sexual abuse but what they found out next seemed quite disturbing.

Margaret's tongue was burned deeply and her molar tooth was missing.

After laceration of the outer layers skin, Tommy closed his eyes. Margaret's lungs and kidney suffered from third degree burn.

Frank realized something that was not supposed to happen did take place.

Frank on further investigation revealed to Tommy about his confusion of Margaret's death.It seemed Margaret a few days back but to be honest her eyes were already cloudy suggesting she died several months or years back.

Margaret's waist was abnormally slim as compared to her body. Years back when women used to wear corset they had their waist slim exactly like Margaret had.
