62 The Plague (7) | Chapter 62

A shrill scream resounded in the apartment. Obviously, this much noise resulted in some dangerous things showing themselves.

"That can't be good..." Song Lei muttered to himself. After a few seconds, the horde started gathering. Song Lei turned his head towards Old Wolf. "And now?"

"The horde didn't activate on this floor but it will still result in ghosts appearing on the hallways," Old Wolf said. He turned towards Damien and said, "We don't know who screamed but if we don't leave now, we won't be able to do so again. We don't have the time to help out on the lower floors."

Song Lei and Damien nodded. They left room 1001. As soon as they did so, they were met with a cacophony of noises and weird shadows moving in the dark hallway. Although Song Lei couldn't see what they were, he could understand that they were not darkness monsters. Instead, they were the parts of the horde that would be formed in near time.
