After their brief discussion, Lord Roriksten allowed Jason, who was disguised as Geppeto, to stay in a room in his manor. Afterwards, the lord asked him to join him for a meal during which they would discuss further topics.

This was it, Vulcan knew this would eventually happen, which was the reason he had Jason become his alter ego 'Geppeto'. As he sat down at the long table, Jason took off his black plague doctor mask, revealing his true face in front of the Lord.

"Hmph, I always thought you were fooling me when you said you were old, but look at you. You look like you're already halfway into your grave," commented Lord Roriksten as he saw what this 'Geppeto' fellow looked like underneath his mask.

Looking at Jason, he really did look older than his years. He had all grey hair, wrinkles, bags underneath his eyes, and even rotting teeth. All of this was done with simple makeup, hair dye, and fake teeth Vulcan had given him before they arrived here.
