30 The Monarchs
The morning came and Uriel was done reading most of the important stuff in the library.
Notice: 52 books have been read. 3 books have most of the important information that the user needs.
(I can't believe that I can rest my mind and somewhat be half-asleep while Uriel takes over. I'll be doing this whenever I need some information. I'm not really an academic enthusiast. Good thing the guild is open 24/7.)
"So what important stuff do you have for me? Well, just a quick summary would do. We can talk about it while we stroll around."
Seth then left the guild library and took a stroll inside the city.

Notice: Firstly, the names of the three continents: Aysias, Repreus, Zwarts
Aysias- The current continent we are in that is ruled by humans.
Repreus- Continent that is ruled by non-human races.
Zwarts- The 3rd continent that is not known.

Notice: Just like from the holy kingdom's guild library, there are only negligible and few records about this continent.
"I have yet to fully explore this continent so I'll be staying here for a while."

Found in the Aysias continent:
Ruin of Frost- within the Mountain of Feris. (conquered)
Ruin of Blaze- within the northern Pyramid in the Northern Desert plains of Carabis. (conquered)
Ruin of Luminosity- within a forest near the Nation of Iru and Zan. (not yet conquered)
Found in the Repreus continent:
Ruin of Darkness- Found near the Altar of the undead near the uninhabitable plains.
Ruin of Creation- Found near the Forest of the main capital city of the Elves, Alf Arenlune.

Notice: The Nation of Iru and Zan are sister nations that are governed by two related individuals.
Notice: Ruins are considered sacred places thus no adventurers go inside.
"I see, so that's why the ruins all look like they had just been left there since nobody goes inside. Monsters just inhabit them."
Notice: There are no records for the whereabouts of the 9 demon gate keys but there are records that the 12 heroes had been in a battle of attrition against the demon race a couple of hundred years ago. After winning the battle, they split all the (dimensional keys) they used to seal their race in different locations. Some of them must've hidden some of the demon gate keys in the ruins and since they branded it as a sacred place, it was never been brought to light. It might be the reason why the user has found them as rewards in the ruins.
"I bet the heroes of this world are long gone since it had been some hundreds of years since then, huh? Well, that's less worry about the existence of the demon lord or something since I've only been fighting demon generals from the demon gate dungeons."
Notice: Aside from the user being the Slime Monarch, there exist other monarchs.
Notice: Sage Monarch- Specializes in the control of Wind, Earth, Water, and Nature elements. Apparently, the Sage monarch only appears when he wants to but he mostly stays near the elven forests. The Sage monarch also merged a shard of the staff of wisdom with a seed of the main tree from the elven capital which gave birth to the tree that the city of Alora has now.
"So the Sage monarch was the one responsible for this tree here, huh? It's so big."
Notice: Illuminated Monarch- Specializes in the control of light elements as well as piercing magic. The Illuminated monarch has been inactive since a hundred years ago after helping the 12 heroes in the fight against the demon race.
"I see."
Notice: Dragon Monarch- Specializes in the control of Fire and Ice elements. Have complete control of all the ancient dragons and is currently the most powerful Monarch based on strength. He is rumored to be residing in the continent of Zwarts but since all expeditions done by the two continents have been failures, there is no confirmation of that information.
"The ancient dragons are around level 350, so the other monarchs are that strong, huh?"
Notice: Lastly, the two monarchs that you might've known. The Slime Monarch and the Demon Monarch.
Notice: Demon Monarch- Specializes in Dark elements and summoning magic. The Demon monarch died during the war with the heroes. He was also considered to be the Demon King.
(Hmmm... Can I become the Demon Monarch?)
Notice: There is a possibility that the User can become the Demon Monarch once he collects all the accessories in the Demon Monarch Set.
(Another goal I need to achieve in this life, I guess.)
Notice: Slime Monarch- specializes in nothing. The weakest monarch. The Slime Monarch died back during the war with the Demon Monarch and since then, there has been no new Slime Monarch born.
(So I guess that is the reason why I became the Slime Monarch. Did I become the monarch just because the current monarch was dead?)
Notice: Becoming a Monarch has requirements but meeting those requirements means nothing if the current monarch is alive. It is because the Slime Monarch is dead that is why a new Slime Monarch, The User, was born. It is also why it is likely that the user can become the Demon Monarch once the user has collected all the accessories in the Demon Monarch set.
(Is there any information about the 12 heroes?)
Notice: There is barely any information about the 12 heroes here in the guild's library. I suggest the user travel to the capital city of the Country of Wishes and head towards the Main Academic Library. Since the 12 heroes are considered legends, their records might've been kept in a more secure place, not for the public.
Meanwhile, while Seth was strolling in the City of Alora, Aries and Phobos are busy overseeing what is happening on the other side of the continent.

"I can't believe the higher-ups are still having us stay here to oversee these two nations rebuild this kingdom with their own. It's been almost a month, Can't we go on another mission?"
"I don't mind doing nothing for a while, Aries."
"But it's almost been a month, why are we still here? Yeah, they already won and I bet the news is spreading fast among the villages and cities. Captives are working as slaves, some of the civilians are dead from wandering in the forest and some might've escaped to the villages in the country of wishes. Since it's a country that is affiliated with the other countries in the other continent, I doubt the two nations want some beef with them."
"Calm down Aries. Our main goal was to get the important Holy Relics as well as magic items inside the Holy Kingdom. Since the two nations have long wanted to conquer the Holy Kingdom, that was the perfect chance. It was all a ploy from the organization."
While Aries and Phobos were talking, someone came into the room.
"Oh, Vlad. How does it feel being ascended?"
"We've worked our ass off grinding the requirements for your ascension. Since the Organization has approved of you, at least make sure that you are worth the investment."
"I will do my best to get stronger, Master Aries."
