Three weeks passed and Seth was already on the borders of the Nations of Iru and Zan.

"Okay, I guess I won't be ascending this for a while. Maybe even after grinding this whole continent, I can't ascend this. 11 Holy Relics? and 12 of those shards that I need to replace with Holy Relics as well? I mean I think the Relics aren't that rare I supposed but reaching lvl 350 will be a hurdle since my maximum level, for now, is lvl 250. And a weapon of a hero? Where can I even get that?"

(Ah forget it, I'll just grind these ruins and the Ruin of Luminosity and shift my course after that.)

(Anyway, time to grind out the rest of these sub-ruins and make our way to the Ruin of Luminosity. It's been a while since I've seen a ruin as well.)

(I really need to get my hands on that ruins or another Demon gate.)

"Rim let's spread out. Dark Shadows, prioritize splitting and hunting down any monsters you can kill. Uriel, take over. I want to finish all these sub-ruins today so I can start clearing the Ruin of Luminosity and maybe get a Demon Gate."

Notice: Uriel shall finish all the sub-ruins today and head towards the Ruin of Luminosity.

While Uriel was taking over, killing all the monsters they pass by, and checking each nook and cranny, Seth was thinking again about why he is doing all of this.

(Why am I even trying to get stronger so much? If I want to, I might be able to get away with killing all the people that invaded the Holy Kingdom at this point. But that is not my goal, I don't want more bloodshed. I'm after the two that incited that stupid war according to Uriel. I don't know much about politics or how to handle such stuff. My mind is as simple as an average person's. Target and eliminate the ones who gave out the orders. If not for such greedy people on top then surely, this world would've been a lot different from my old one.)

"In the end, maybe I'm just having fun exploring and having the power of those game characters I used to collect and watch. Then I guess to add to everything right now, my goal would just be to go straight and get strong. I'll deal with the problems after I've got the power to back it up."

A couple of minutes passed and Uriel was finished with one of the ruins.

"So I only manage to level up to level 130 with that."

Notice: All marked locations on the map starting from the Capital City Hatisa toward the Ruin of Luminosity have been cleared of monsters.

Notice: The forest beside the twin nations is within the site.

Seth traversed the Forest easily as he found a small lake within the forest.

Notice: The Ruins of Luminosity are within sight.

"Where is it?"

Notice: The location of the Ruin can be entered from the reflection of the sun on that shiny rock into the lake.

"Quite an ingenious entrance."

Notice: The ruin level requirement is 120.

(120? I see. My theory that the Major Ruins and Demon Gate Dungeons scale to my level might be correct. If that is the case, then these surely are the grind spots that I need to farm, like in a normal RPG to reach the max level.)

"Time to grind. It's been three weeks and I barely leveled up or made a major improvement."

While Seth was busy for those three weeks, Lady Alice and the group were sailing toward the Continent of Repreus.

"It's been a week since we left the City of Arwyna. This is a long voyage since we are going to take the long route to avoid the dangerous areas in the sea." Zeal said while he brought out the map.

"Since we are already here, we should plan out what we are going to do once we land. We still got plenty of funds to use. We might as well have a sustainable lifestyle there." Aila quickly responded.

"I... need another bag... blegghhh..."

"Geez, gester. It's been the second time this day that you puked. Aila, are you sure you are buffing his resistance or were you slacking off?" Zeal still couldn't believe that Gester has not yet adapted to the environment of being on a ship.

"I'm buffing him resistance every time that I can cast it. His body is just weak and we can't do anything about that."

"Ahh... Go and call a crewmate to borrow a bucket. A big one that will last him the whole day. I'm sorry Lady Alice. Although we are your guards, you see Gester in such a pathetic state."

Aila left their room to borrow a bucket as Lady Alice was chuckling a bit.

"It's fine, Zeal. Honestly, it's good that we can take our time here. First and foremost you three are my friends, and seasickness is normal. Since it's a long journey, we can take our time to think about what we are going to do after we landed. Let's enjoy this travel since it's also my first time going out of the Kingdom, traveling, and even going to a new continent. This experience since leaving the Holy Kingdom has been quite the ride for me."

"Then we will do our best so you can enjoy this journey with your trusted friends!"

Zeal knew that Lady Alice always treated them as friends but as the leader of the group and Lady Alice's father entrusting her to him, he felt the responsibility to always act to that notion.

After a while, Aila came back with the bucket.

"Puke here, Gester."

Gester quickly grabbed the bucket and started puking.

"Honestly, we might need to go outside since it's starting to stink a bit."

(This truly is quite the ride.)

Meanwhile, Aries, Phobos, and Vlad were done with their resource gathering and so they are preparing to go back.

"Okay pack everything, we are going back to the Fallen Kingdom."

"We sure killed a lot, Aries."

"Well, it has been weeks since we started. Besides, this might even just be barely enough."

"Master Aries, I'm in contact with my apostles through our hivemind and they are saying that everything is going smoothly. We might be able to execute the plan within two weeks' time."

"Phobos, once we get back, make sure to contact the Organization that we are almost done. I'm sure they will send someone over to help us with this grand scheme."

(The main event is just about to start. This might even fish out the strong individuals who are in hiding. Surely, some of the monarchs would want to get involved, right? Just like what happened a couple of hundred years before, how will the modern day fair when faced with such a tragedy?)
