V.1-C.82│Eternal II│

Obito was starting to feel some headaches as the days went by. His vision was blurry, and his head hurt, while his entire body also felt weird as he was trying to determine whether or not he had caught something himself.

He has never really had a cold before, as being a jinchuriki in his previous life really negated the negatives that disease and poisons could do to him.

Which did make him realize that maybe he should start with that, taking care of his current weakness to poison.

'Yeah, Kurama was useful in a lot of aspects...' Obito wondered whether or not Kurama would be able to have the same relationship with Kushina. 'Probably not, considering the way she is.' There was always a possibility of releasing Kurama and the other Tailed Beasts from their seals, though there is also a reasoning behind it as well.

He understands that hatred and fear were the two driving motivators as to why jinchuriki even exist in the first place.

'Well, I think I could try and mediate something between Kurama and Kushina.' Obito decided that he saw do so, and would do so between Rin and her Tailed Beast, Isobu, as well.

He has to do it all over again anyway, in that he is trying to encourage Kaguya to try and see things through a different eyes. Who's eyes in particular? Well, his of course, otherwise it would remain ineffective in trying to convince her to not go on with the same plan she has been doing for the longest of times.

It wasn't easy to try and make Kaguya 'see the light,' as she wasn't exactly wrong in the actions she had taken. True, he disliked the idea of just destroying everyone because of her reasoning, yet the things that happened before that was an easy justification for what happened afterwards.

She was... betrayed by someone she trusted, loved and had children with. That was not an easy or nice thing to experience, and while Obito knows he wouldn't exactly do the same, he would feel the same hurt that she did.

He sympathizes, and can even understand her to a greater extent, which was one of his most best traits. The ability to know of and share in another's pain and suffering.

It was a tried and true method for Obito to talk with someone to convince them they are wrong, and of course if they aren't convinced by words, then maybe they would be convinced by his fists.

Yet, the world is not as black and white as most wish it to be. There are things that should be looked upon as if they are evil and disgusting, yet there are other things that blur the lines between good and evil.

It comes down to whether or not you're on the winning side.

He realizes this all the more in his new life, knowing that what if there was some other, better society that could of changed the world for the better, but didn't because they lost in some ancient war.

It was the same now just as it was the same then. People are living in history, and the history of now is decided by the winner, just as sad or bad that may seem, it is the reality of conflict at a large and small scale.

Sure, the stories of the ones who lost may still continue, but it would soon die off to be replaced by something that was better than that.

In the end, all anyone could do or can do, is build oneself up, build up your loved ones, protect and provide a safe haven or place for which they may survive if things get tough, and most of all, the importance of ones community is great.

This is partially why villages and lands and countries even exist in the first place, exactly because they have separate, different cultures or societies that would like their own rules and standards of living to be implemented for all of those living within.

Obito has kind of neglected the importance of making bonds with people in general, that is if one looks at it from a greater perspective.

He hasn't won over the respect of everyone in the village, or anywhere else, but he has won the respect and love, in many forms, of those around him. Whether that be from the girls that surround him in this life, or those from friends like Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy, or others that he has been introduced to, or introduced himself to.

'That does remind me, maybe I should start trying to practice building up enough physical prowess to push the limits...' Obito thought on the technique, the Eight Gates, and the possibilities behind this.

Guy was able to go up against Madara, and Madara was beaten quite well just from Guy being able to unlock the Eight Gates to their fullest potential. 'Just imagine that with Sage Mode, and being powered up by the Susanoo, alongside something like a Tailed Beast cloak...' The possibilities behind this should make him more than strong enough to face off against Madara if need be.

Though, from what Kaguya has said about her clansmen from the stars, they would be stronger than Madara, meaning that he would still need to build up strength past even Madara and then some.

Right now, Obito was working on his next Hiraishin addon, the Hiraishin: Sensor.

He likes the concept or idea that he can know everything, everywhere at once. He already has practice through his shadow clones, and having the Sharingan only further increase his perception and mind related capabilities.

He is also a natural born sensor as well, meaning that his yin side of his chakra was taken care of. Though he has been putting in the effort as well, in combination with his physical efforts in increasing the yang side too.

With both, the growth of his chakra is really good.

He knows that Hiraishin: Sensor would require him to have a great amount of mental power, which he has been building up over time as he uses Shadow Clones and uses his Sharingan constantly.

Or even using the Sharingan with the Shadow Clones.

Putting that aside, he really mostly likes to spend time with the others, whether this be doing activities that they enjoy, or doing things that he wished to do. Of course, not many people can enjoy gardening like he does, as it wasn't everyone's cup of tea.

Everyone has their own hobbies, and he doesn't mind doing things that they liked to do if they wanted.

"There... this should do it." Obito said to himself before he lifted up a small paper that had his signature Hiraishin seal. It wasn't anything too different or anything like that, and there wasn't like there is supposed to be any difference in the seal anyway.

Placing on the tree in front of him, Obito also summoned some shadow clones. "Ok, you guys know what to do." Obito said to the clones, as they nodded their heads in reply and just stood there, next to the Hiraishin tagged tree.

Obito himself stepped back as he started slowly extending his senses towards the network he is connected to, and started to test out his new Hiraishin technique. In doing so, he started to get a slow and steady flow of information that started to pick up over a few seconds.

He sensed the chakra of his clones, but he couldn't see his clones chakra network flow.

He didn't only want to have a sense of someone's chakra, he wanted these Hiraishin seals to also act like extra eyes and ears for himself.

One of the best information gathering tools, that is if his mind doesn't get overloaded by information that is. He knows that he was only able to maintain many clones at the same time in his previous life due to Kurama repeatedly sending its chakra into his system, increasing his regenerative abilities.

It just so happened to affect the mind as well, and not just his body in his wounds healing faster. Chakra is made up of two parts, the yin and the yang, though he did only have the Yang half of Kurama for most of that period, it was more than enough to also supplement his mental strain.

Of course, if he himself didn't have sufficient mental energy himself, he would still be strained by the massive amount of information he receives from multiple perspectives.

Now, he doesn't have to worry as much on the yin side, though when it comes to Hiraishin: Sensor, it certainly has high requirements.

He stopped concentrating on the the seal, releasing his sense through the seal. 'Now, lets test this through someone...' He thought before focusing on his connection on someone that was the nearest to himself.

That being Kushina, as she is currently at home, allowing him to start sensing around her, and extending outwards he was able to sense both Tsunade's and Shizune's chakra nearby. 'Right... now to test someone further out.' There were too people far away enough, that being Mei and Konan.

Doing so, he connected to Konan, and through his chakra perception, he was able to notice the chakra signature of Nagato nearby. 'And then that there is settled, though it seems the longer the distance, the more chakra I have to spend...'

This was the first step, the next step is him started to mould his chakra and perform a technique that kind of imitates the way Hiruzen Sarutobi's crystal ball technique works, but it would be through the 'eyes' of his Hiraishin marks.

Though, if his Hiraishin: Sensor technique is the 'software' and programming of his technique, then the seal or mark itself is the 'hardware.' Meaning if he does want to take that second step into becoming some all-seeing person through the Hiraishin, the marks he has placed and will place will need to go through an upgrade themselves.

'I think I can leave it here, for now...' Obito didn't continue, and instead seated himself, not bothered about doing that right now.

This is when he noticed a presence in the shadows. "Who is it?" He didn't recognize this being at first, but upon seeing the creature, he was a bit surprised by its upfront status.

Obito stood up to face the being known as... White Zetsu. "Hello, young master." Zetsu bowed, oh so politely, in a grand manner.

Obito himself couldn't exactly give away that he knows anything of what might be going on, not that he does know what is going on in this moment. This was... not how things were supposed to go. "Young master, I would appreciate it if you would come with me to meet the Master."

"And who is this 'Master?'" He already knew, but he just wanted to cement that he is someone that is completely clueless.

"Master Madara Uchiha..." White Zetsu tried to smile in a disarming manner, yet it only came off as terrifying to gaze upon.

'What do I do now...?' Obito thought to himself.

[]

She was, is, happy...

This was not a feeling that she has experienced in a very long time.

The slow process of her reuniting with the chakra she needs to reform herself a new body was a process that is hard for her. For extended periods of time, she needs to 'hibernate,' as she acclimatizes herself to the chakra and keeps it separate from everything else. She only needs just enough that she keep, and in the future she may create the chakra of the Ten-Tail's.

As she does, she would have power enough to reawaken, even if the chakra quantity was nothing in comparison to her original chakra reserves.

She laments that she cannot be of further aid to Obito, as she can only stay within this space, and only supply him with a trickle of chakra to help him further increase his reserves.

She has also sensed the presence of more and more things around Obito, whether that be in the form of a Tailed Beast, or very recently, like just in this instance, she thought she sensed the presence of her 'third child,' which is in actuality a manifestation of her will.

She knows that nobody, not even the manifestation of her will, will be able to discover her presence within Obito. She herself could only barely sense things on the outside, and wishes more so to share with Obito his view of the world.

Thinking on views of the world, her grudge, her disgust and desire hasn't gone away just yet, even with Obito spending time with her.

If anything, she is inclined to still go through with her original plan if Obito changes his mind. She knows he wont though, but she wouldn't just give up in her pursuit to retake her chakra. It belongs to her, and in ways she would sometimes even think of the chakra that Obito has as hers as well.

She wouldn't retake it, and it was more of a relinquishment over some of her chakra, even if she knows that there is no demand over chakra.

In fact, the uniqueness of a person can be viewed through the perspective of chakra as near absolutely everything has their own chakra signature.

With the Eight Tails and Nine Tails chakra secure, she can now start going after the other pieces of chakra she needs. She has a feeling that the next Tailed Beasts chakra she collects would unlock some part of this seal.

It wasn't a seal only indicative of her progress in reclaiming pieces of her chakra, but also indicative of Obito's trust in her, as she becomes closer and closer to becoming free. She doesn't intend the betray that trust, as she has rather embarrassingly found herself caught in her feelings for him.

Though, she doesn't consider this a bad thing, and while she herself has trust issues, she has decided to place her trust and love in Obito.

'I am impatient to get my new form...' She wished no more than to actually, physically touch him, even if her current state and interactions with him could be considered much more intimate as he and she can interact with each others minds and souls directly.

Her current next plan of action is to get Obito to gather another piece of her chakra.

If anything, this should easy as he has been spending time with someone or near something that has the chakra signature of the Three Tails.

Kaguya is definitely excited to see what happens next.
