2 Open the Gifts!

Ka Hyun-Su opened his eyes, and this time he floated in a boundless space. Thousands of memory fragments alternated rapidly with others in his mind.

The scene before his eyes changed. He suddenly stood in a place where everywhere he saw was filled with thick clouds. There was tremendous thunder plugging the sky.

Ruins can be seen scattered in all directions. It was clear that there had just been a significant war.

"Jefischa, no, no! Don't go! Please!! I won't let you! No!"

A young man with long white hair was embracing a woman. A woman with blonde hair and a pair of white wings. He was Elliot, a different Elliot from the one Hyun-Su had met before. This scene seems to have occurred before the great war against the demon lord.

Darkness covered Hyun-Su's eye again, bringing him to a different scene.

"I'm sorry, Father, I can't carry out the task you have given me."

A girl, an elf with leg-length green hair, kneeled. As far as the eye could, there were ruins. The same battle had happened. And saw many corpses of elves and demons scattered in all directions.

'Is this the war that will happen in the kingdom of elves?'

This time Ka Hyun-Su stood in front of a different scene. Another war, something that ended in the extinction of one race in the world he wrote about.

He could not accept or capture every piece of information he got. It looked like some scenes he had written in the story, but he saw it in person.

Thousands of images and memories forced their way into his head. His heart seemed to beat faster. The contents of his stomach were also forced out. Doesn't he already have no physical body?

"Brother…"

"Logan, don't force yourself too hard! Okay!"

"Cmon, Son, you can do it."

He saw some scenes he couldn't recognize or remember writing but were soon filling his head, a memory as thick as hundreds of stacks of books split into fragments.

The agony he felt ended up with something strange he felt in his body. He again felt his physical body, marked by his sleeping position and a gust of wind that hit his skin.

Ka Hyun-Su opened his eyes, his body felt hot, and sweat seemed to fill all layers of his skin. He immediately lifted his body, squeezing his hair and head because the pressure was still intense.

"Arghhh…!"

Ka Hyun-Su groaned and gritted his teeth. Slowly, he tried to calm his heart rate, breathing more regularly.

A few minutes later, the burden he felt on his head faded. He opened his eyes and tried to recognize his surroundings. The sun's rays poured in, making the room quite recognizable. A room with wooden walls, wooden tables, and wooden chairs, all wooden.

Hyun-Su was still trying to calm his breathing, and all the information was now jumbled in his head.

"What? How could it be?"

Ka Hyun-Su, who? A name and other memories mixed within him. Logan Evans, he was trying to think about who he was. He felt he had lived as two people. Ka Hyun-Su, a famous writer, and Logan Evans, an adventurer?

"Logan Evans?"

Hyun-Su smacked his forehead, trying to soothe the lingering pain sensation.

He got off the bed, which creaked as he did so. Toddled around, feeling unfamiliar with his new body. He approached a mirror hung on the wall.

In its reflection, a young man with black hair and black eyes appeared and was quite handsome compared to his old face.

"This is my new body? Isn't it?"

All the memories he received were still jumbled. He had a hard time imagining whether it was Logan Evans who had gotten Ka Hyun-Su's memories or vice versa.

"I feel like I've lived the life of Logan and Ka Hyun-Su at the same time. Really weird..."

"It's better if I think I'm Logan Evans now. Because, of course, I don't want anyone to know about Ka Hyun-Su in this world."

Ka Hyun-Su still clearly remembered all the memories he had in his previous life. But he also has the memories of being Logan Evans, though not as many as they should be.

Logan moved his body, and his muscles were stiff and felt weak. He lifted the white shirt that covered his stomach and saw a fit body, like a person used to going to the gym.

"I'm still as attractive as ever."

Logan again scanned the room. What he was witnessing now was completely real. He had indeed come back to life with a new body.

'Is this the world that the nerd god was talking about?'

"Status Window"

Logan whispered, followed by letters floating in front of him.

[Name: Logan Evans]

[Tier: 1]

[Class: Grade F (Unawakened)]

[Strength: 17]

[Dexterity: 20]

[Intelligence: 21]

[Constitution: 12]

[Charisma: 7]

[Luck: 7]

"What? This shit is real!!!"

The system he built and designed in the story he wrote now appeared before him. He only wrote something in his novel at first, but now he felt it directly.

"But? Why are my overall stats this bad?"

Tier 1 was the lowest in the system. The potency at this tier was not much different from average humans. Likewise, his status didn't show the slightest remarkable sign.

"Then what gifts was that stupid god talking about?"

He reincarnated in a fantasy world but with a status this terrible. Isn't this bad luck?

The wooden door on the other side of the room opened. A twelve-year-old girl entered. The girl showed a shocked face with her eyes wide open, which immediately replaced with a smile on her lips.

The girl had brown hair and blue eyes. Someone who he recognized as his younger sister, Alice Evans.

"Brother? Are you awake already?"

The girl ran towards him. Logan unconsciously received his little sister in his embrace.

Logan felt a strange feeling, something he had never encountered before, a sense of warmth and comfort. He stroked the hair of the girl. His face was stiff, looking stunned by what was happening.

"Brother, are you okay?"

All the things had come so suddenly. But one was which Logan couldn't ignore, the feeling of love that touched his heart. Although another part of him still felt this was a little awkward.

"Is this the gift that stupid god gave me?"

This is serious. The emptiness in his heart that had felt for a long time had now been filled. A feeling that cannot be expressed in words.

Logan let go of his embrace, looking at the face of the girl standing in front of him. Her cheeks looked bright, even though the room did not get enough light. She had a cheerful face with wide-open eyelids and a smile directed at him.

"What happened to you, brother?"

Logan couldn't quite remember what had happened to him. All he knew were a few mixed memories and his sleeping state, with his stomach churning from hunger.

[You've Got Mail]

Logan wanted to answer his little sister's question but halted. A notification appeared in his view.

'A mail?'

There was no mail in the story he wrote. This looks weird. The system in this world seemed a little different.

'Open the mail!'

Logan whispered, and a voice message was heard.

[Please give me enjoyable entertainment. I mean, please make sure more people are alive this time. Zyltic, the most incredible god in the universe.]

Alice, Logan's younger sister, tilted her head, looking at her older brother, who seemed to stare blankly.

"Brother?"

'Here it is. Please give me something incredible.'

Something Logan had been waiting for had come.

'Open the gifts!'
