As I was walking in my dorm room after exhausting myself, I felt the time around me slowing down. It was the same feeling that I feel whenever my mother comes to visit me. However, this one was different... The Speed Force energy around me felt like my own.

"Hello Ray, we meet again... I am sorry to do this but this is an emergency so you might-"

Wait a minute, something isn't right about this... Why am I back to this hour all of a sudden? Huh?

'Ryuk, can you hear me?' I asked in my mind hoping for an answer, but that answer never came.

There wasn't any alarms from the TWG, it's unlikely that I messed up the timeline.

'Wait a minute, this isn't really a bad thing... If I am stuck in some kind of time loop then I can take advantage of it, I can get so many things done... However they are likely to reset. I need to figure out how long it lasts and how to stop it,' I thought.

So, I waited till I got a fixed time. I waited for exactly one hour before I found myself experiencing the same situation once again.

'Okay so, it resets every hour, good to know. Time to check on everyone in the academy.'

Crackle

In a minute and a half, I marked the locations of every students, teachers and staff members, including the robots, in my mind.

Nothing seemed out of the place... Is it because of Holborn? He left an intelligent speed mirage to deliver me a message. Maybe he is using the Speed Force and the Still Force to create a small time loop to fight the other version of me that he mentioned... Why is it affecting me then? Is he giving me time? That must be it!

'If I improve my Speed Force mastery, it will just reset... Trying to comprehend Still Force is an option however it will stay at the same stage as my Speed Force... I need to prioritise something that won't reset,' I sat down on my bed, thinking about stuff that I can remember. In the next second I jolted up from the bed and said, "Memories, that's it! Memories don't reset which means muscle memory, mastery or new skills or techniques that I can remember won't reset either."

Time for some self improvement been lacking on that for a while, along with all my memories returned... I may even have some time to rest.

First things first, I need to find the first headmaster... Only he can teach me how to comprehend the Sage Force. Although it will be weaker than the copied version(Copy allows the user to copy the best version of any ability), Holborn told me to comprehend it... Let's trust him this time...

'Right now, the headmaster should be resting in his room after coming back from the red zone,' I walked back and forth, trying to think of a way to get inside his apartment. 'I could ask Tommy to teach me his stealth technique but why bother when I have a presence disorientation/ perception deceptor function installed in my TWG. God I love this thing so much!'

The presence disorientation/ perception deceptor function allows a person to shift the attention of others away from them, it doesn't make them invisible rather it makes them unnoticable.

I put the TWG back in my shirt's pocket and switched on the perception deceptor function before casually walking out of the door. All the students that passed by me in the hallway weren't even able to look in my direction at all. At first I wanted to test the range of it but it seemed as if they weren't able to sense my presence even if I "accidentally" ran into them. This was just perfect!

Crackle

In a fraction of a second I appeared before the room of Headmaster and stopped in front of the two men in black and white suits, guarding the door.

They did see the trail of lightning behind me and stood on their guard but couldn't even find me though any means as I slipped past them and knocked thrice on the door.

Knock Knock Knock

You can call me evil but I don't just barge in someone's home without their permission, especially someone who can teach me something, I got manners and shit.

The guards immediately turned around and pointed their guns at the door still trying to find out where I was.

"Come in."

A loud voice enhanced by a strange force rang in my ears. Ben couldn't see me but he could feel something that was disrupting his senses away from me. Sage Force users are quite perceptive of their surroundings and a person like him who has fully mastered his ability had many ways to find someone without relying on his senses.

The moment I walked in, I turned off my perception deceptor and put both my hands up in the air.

"First year student of the Metahuman school, Ray Allen, here to see you," I said, announcing my presence.

"Mr.Allen, a pleasure to meet you. Why don't you come and have a seat before we talk?" Ben replied politely, holding back his curiosity to know how I got here undetected.

His room was lavishly designed upto the last bit. It was bigger than four of the normal rooms of the first year students. There was a big bed at the west, beside the window in middle of them was a small cupboard for decoration. The bathroom was at the east and beside it was a work table with a chair at each side of it. There were two bookselves beside the table, one of them was filled entirely with books and the other contained a mixture of books and diaries. On the ceiling, two magic circles were drawn at each side, although it was invisible to the naked eyes, you could feel the mana brushing past your skin as long as you were inside the room.

'It's almost as good as my old room... Now I miss my old room for no reason...'
