2 5 years later

Five years have passed since I came to this planet. Many things have changed since then. However, the biggest change was my intelligence, which was a big problem for me. When you pour too much oil into a container filled with water, there will be a constant collision between the two. The same thing was happening to my brain. Whenever I tried to read a book too much information would enter my mind and find a spot to remain there permanently, unless I try to forget about it. At first, I thought that I was about to go insane but after some practice, I learned to control it. It was not good enough to be leveled as a 'meta' ability. So, saying I am still a human wouldn't be a lie.

Five years ago, after the death of my parents, I was taken care of by my uncle. It was hilarious, watching someone try to take care of a baby is the funniest thing in the whole world. Even the servants almost cried because of me. But jokes aside, it all stopped when I started to talk. I mean, I copied whatever they said in front of me. So that they wouldn't suspect me, the family butler took me to the library after finding out that I have excellent talent when it comes to learning.

I wasn't surprised to see a library in this mansion because it was three-story tall and fifteen square feet wide in range. After all, my uncle is one of the richest men on Planet 5.

The library had many different types of books on different shelves. The current me has no chance to sneak away from the eyes of the butler to get them. So I had to wait and be patient.

Finally on my third birthday when my uncle asked me what I wanted. I asked him to build a workshop for me. Metahumans grow faster than regular humans, and they think that I am a meta human, so no one complained about me getting a workshop. Now, you all will ask me, Ray, out of all the things that you could have asked for, why a workshop?

Well, the answer to that is simple, technology. You see, there are three ways to survive in this world.

1. First, if you have a great meta ability.

2. Second, you are talented in magic or, aura.

3. And lastly, technology.

After thinking about it for a while, I remembered that I added a hidden plot in the novel, which some of my readers noticed. The Cyrus Stone, was a medium that was used as a core to make a golem. This golem could copy any metahuman's DNA and use their ability. Even the protagonist and his team had a hard time taking it down. The golem was strong enough to use other people's abilities to their full potential, if it was not for its stupidity it could have defeated the protagonist. That was also the only chapter where the main villain teamed up with the protagonist to get his revenge. Well lucky for me the one who is about to kill me five days later is that mage who made the golem.

If I can get that stone my plans will become much easier to execute. A part of me wanted to get revenge for my parents. Although I never wanted something like that, my body didn't listen to me. At first, all I thought about was getting my revenge on the people who had killed my new parents, I had completely forgotten about my past goals. Until one day...

"Ray, I need to talk to you kid," said Ryuk, or, the so called Death.

"What is it?" I asked, while focusing on the project.

"Listen, kid, I know that you want to take revenge for your new parents but all that anger and pain that you are carrying isn't going to help you."

"And how would you know something like that? Do you know how it feels to lose your parents? Do you know how painful it is? Oh! I am sorry, I forgot that you are a type of God as well. And God doesn't feel pain!"

"I may not feel pain but I can feel your emotions and your desire for revenge. You forgot the fact that sometimes there aren't any plots or, secret agencies, just accidents..."

"..."

He was right, I was just following blind speculation that my parents'death was a plot made by some secret agencies or, something, but in truth, I was just not ready to accept the reality. I never wrote anything about Ray, so I didn't know what happened to his parents. He was just a side character that was meant to die in the prologue, which is why I ignored his background. But now that I am in his body, I can finally tell how he felt.

However, that event reminded me that I am not just some main character who's stupid enough to not see reality. I don't even have any plot armors like the other main characters do. All I can rely on is myself.

In these two years that I had left, I created nanotechnology and made many traps around the house turning some of the objects into killing machines meant for 'security purposes'. I even made a secret lab in the workshop, which was only accessible to me. I turned the garden sprinklers into a 'Hydrogun' that can even cut diamonds, it was very effective on defense-type meta-humans. Still, I wasn't ready to take on a mage in a head-on battle. So I created an extra trump card just in case things got out of hand.

And now that day has finally arrived. The day when I had to overcome my death.

In front of the gate of the mansion, three figures were talking to each other. Outside the gate, stood a young man in his twenties, he had silver hair and blue eyes, in a well dressed manner, which made him look like a noble. At the gate was a butler standing beside a kid with silver hair and blue eyes.

"I will be back by tomorrow morning," said Thomas Allen, my uncle, and the main antagonist of the novel. "Don't stay cooped up in your workshop for the whole day, alright?"

"I'll try not to." I replied.

"And Alfred, I will have to rely on you to take care of Ray. Sorry, for the trouble." Thomas turned towards the butler.

"It's alright, Master Thomas. I will be sure to keep the young master safe." replied Alfred.

"If anything happens then send me a signal, immediately."

"I will, Master Thomas."

As, Thomas Allen, my uncle and my last line of defence left the mansion, I went to my workshop to prepare for the assassination. I knew that this would happen and even if I had stopped him, the assassination would have only been delayed. So, I had to face my destiny head on. I had to make sure to end it right here to avoid future casualties.

I sat down on the chair in front of the screens showing the footage of the mansion and it's surroundings. As a blue screen appeared before me.

"Waiting for your orders Mr.Allen," a loud voice filled the room.

I looked at the screen for the last time before proceeding with the plan. 'Tonight we change the future.'
