7 Special Chapter

Hello everyone, this is your friendly neighborhood Karl, 'peacefully suggesting' the the author to write this chapter.

This shall be the first of, (if the author isn't too lazy), many more to come, of my exclusive 4th wall breaks!

No need to worry about the mental state of the author. I'm sure he's completely fine. Well, most of him...

Anyway, Let's get on with it!

First, let's take a look at the [Status Window].

This is the [Status Window] from Chapter 3. (Hehe, gotcha!)

Of course, there's going to be an updated Status window for post time skip in the next chapter. So, have no fear, for Karl Might is here. (Now this is Cringe... :/)

Back on Track, the [Character Level System] and [Skill Level System] will follow the same mechanics, i.e.,

[Level: 00 (0/10)]

[Level: 01 (0/50)]

[Level: 02 (0/100)]

[Level: 03 (0/250)]

[Level: 04 (0/500)]

[Level: 05 (0/750)]

[Level: 06 (0/1000)]

[Level: 07 (0/1250)]

[Level: 08 (0/1500)]

[Level: 09 (0/1750)]

[Level: 10 (0/2000)]

This will be the max for now. Levels can still increase to 20 or 30, so don't worry.

And now, with the trivia.

Each level increase will increase all three stat points by 1. So, with each level up, there are 3 separate stat points acquired in total.

Whenever Gene Points are used to increase stat points or for increasing level, the following happens,

For example, take the Strength stat,

[Strength:04 (0/50)] , now adding 50 gene points, we get [Strength:05 (0/60)]

So, the next limit for increasing stat always increases by 10. This shall remain consistent throughout the story no matter how large the stats become.

And, leveling up will also increase stats, but, for all 3 different stats at the same time.

So, blindly leveling up can lead to wastage of Gene Points, especially at higher levels. Since, individually spending them in stats can save more Gene Points than spending them on levels. Quite intuitive, no?

And now, About the [Health] and [Stamina]

With each point in either [Physique] stat or the [Strength] stat,

1) Health increases by 5

2) Stamina increases by 3

That's about it, I guess.

The [Shop] tab has not been fully updated and could still use some suggestions ("PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU" says the author. I think he's asking for suggestions...?)

And, the skills will be slowly released along with the future chapters.

Only thing that I shall explain now, is the [Proficiency] of a skill.

As the name implies, it improves the control and versatility of the skill, allowing precision over raw strength.

So, increase in skill level means increase in the raw power of skill, whereas, increase in proficiency means increase in flexibility of using said power.

Now, the last part, i.e., about the [Quests ;],

There are mainly 4 types of quests, [Main] [Daily] [Sudden] and [Hidden].

[Main] and [Daily] must be pretty obvious by now, so I'll explain the others.

[Sudden] Quests are, quite literally, unexpected, as in, quests with a certain time limit.

ex:

[Summary: Carla has asked you to quickly buy fish from the market before they sell out.]

[Rewards: Fish stew, 10 Gene Points.]

[Penalty: Minor Hunger]

[Time Limit: 15 min]

Well, as you can see, they're not really special. Just a convenient way to trigger me, but that's all, I guess.

Next, the [Hidden] quest example has already been given in the previous chapter. In a nutshell, it's just random as f*ck with huge rewards.
