23 AOT: Humanity's Last Stand Chapter Twenty Three: Hope Of The Scouts

Levi held his swords in his standard fashion as he closed in on the thin looking abnormal. His eyes flashed his intense disgust as he propelled himself forward with even more bursts of gas.

The Titan locked eyes with him and threw it's palm forward, seemingly wanting to capture the Scout Captain and make him lunch but Levi cut off the gas and unhooked from the Titan's arm.

He was falling rapidly now and the Titan's slap missed it's mark narrowly, Levi's eyes once again locked with the Titan as two hooks shot out of their holders and connected with the other unmoving arm.

Levi's movements were precise and fluid as he shot forward once again, passing the Titan's arm in succession and eyeing the Weak point of all Titans, Their nape. Levi's hooks returned as he flipped in the air and latched himself once again to the Titan, This time, It was on the Titan's nape.

Levi gripped his swords and descended upon the weak spot like an eagle, a slashing sound rippled through the air as blood erupted from the nape of the 14-meter Titan and it slumped forward, It's face crashing into the ground.

Farlan hopped off his horse, His determination reaching new heights as he zipped through the air and his eyes landed on the 6-meter Titan in front of him. His blond hair swaying in the wind.

Petra had been hit by a Titan and he was worried for her safety but alas, as he had learned long ago in the Underground, Your safety comes first. You come first before others.

'Who Lays down their lives for other people?'

As his eyes met the Titan, A fierce sense of desire to end it filled his heart. He took in a deep breath as he shot a hook right at the shoulder of the Titan.

Farlan released a burst of gas as he used his ODM gear to close the distance between himself and the Titan.

Farlan noticed the Titan's gaze shift to him as it leapt into the air, His hook was instantly in turmoil as he was rendered immobile in the air.

The Titan's mouth neared his face but his face was still as stoic as ever, His other hook stuck to the ground as he pulled himself downwards evading the titan's senseless leap.

"Too slow, Titan," Farlan quipped as his hooks found the nape of the Titan and he shot forward once again, empowered with the gas of his ODM gear.

He slashed at the nape of the Titan and blood erupted from the wound, The titan's vision went dark and it fell to the ground.

Isabel flipped in the air, her ODM gear releasing streams of compressed gas as she dodged a Titan's jaw by a hair's breadth.

"Fucking Titan!" Isabel screamed out while her red hair flailed in the wind, A primal urge to slash at the Titan that threatened her life clawed at her heart but she suppressed her urges as her hooks came in contact with the Titan's right leg, Isabel propelled forwards, steady streams of gas shooting out from behind her.

Out of all of the people in the current Levi squad, Isabel was the one that used more gas... That's why Commander Ervin packed extra containers of gas for Isabel.

She passed the leg and hand of the Titan making it to the back-side of the 5-meter Titan with relative ease, Her swords were seemingly glowing and shining in the afternoon sun as she latched herself onto the nape of the Titan, spinning gracefully in the air and finally landing on the nape of the Titan.

"Die!" She cried as she slashed at the nape, blood spraying out on her face and clothes, "Titan blood... disgusting,"

The Levi Squad wasn't the only squad in turmoil right now, No what they were facing was a tip of the Iceberg as more titans rained upon the Scout Regiment's main force.

Hange Zoe and her squad were facing off three titans while Commander Ervin and Mike were against two titans.

Ervin clicked his tongue in annoyance as he slashed at the nape of the Abnormal, seemingly bringing it's movements and very existence to a halt as it fell face first into the ground.

"It doesn't make any sense," Ervin said, "One moment, We were in the clear and then the next, Titans were swarming us... At this rate, We're going to get overwhelmed,"

Several Titans were still coming from the west and east, aimed specifically at their Titan forces but Ervin could see something more...

There was a certain blond haired Titan, It looked different from other titans as the meat on it's bones weren't similar to human skin but rather vaguely similar to the skin of the Colossal titan, It was running away unlike other titans.

'A titan with intelligence,' Ervin thought, 'Just like the Colossal and Armored Titan!'

Ervin narrowed his eyes, It seemed that Titan had set them up, It may have the ability to summon other Titans!

As Ervin landed back on his horse and pulled the remains of his soldiers forward, He knew they were finished. The Scout regiment might as well be finished as the multitude of Titans on them were surreal, Something they had never encountered before.

But then, Something happened... A bolt of purple lightning descended from the cloudless sky, kicking up a lot of dust as a new Titan appeared amidst the smoke and dust, It's eyes purple with rage as it let out a primal roar that shook the very fabrics of their surroundings.

The Titan moved forward, It's black hair with purple indents at their edges swaying in the wind as it's fist crashed upon a Titan nearby, several bits of titan blood and titan flesh shot around, cracking the ground as the Titan stepped on the nape of the titan he had just hit, blood and steam spreading on the ground.

Ervin's eyes widened and Hange's voice echoed in the air.

"A TITAN THAT FIGHTS OTHER TITANS?!" Her voice echoing disbelief.

"Hange, That's too loud," Ervin said but he was nevertheless surprised, "What's the world coming to?"

This entire chapter is not in the MC's POV so don't confuse yourselves, I also brought Farlan and Isabel back from their deaths in the original AOT fiction! This is an AU so I guess that's legal, right? Alright, Give me all your Power stones and don't forget to give this book a Review!
