AOT: Humanity's Last Stand Chapter Thirty Seven: Attack On Carriage

"Thanks once again, for letting me join your squad Aeron," Wanda said as she bowed again.

The moon was high in the sky and our Carriage was parked in the corner, The horses were being fed by Eren and Krista.

"No worries, Wanda," I said and waved her off, I didn't want her feeling gratitude just because I let her get close enough to me. In fact, I should feel gratitude for her coming close to me.

"Okay, So what if were attacked by another Squad," Wanda said, voicing out her worries and I waved her off. Everyone was listening.

"Of course we're going to get attacked," I said while raising a cup of night tea to my face, "I literally put us in an open place so that we would get attacked,"

No one had contemplated my words yet and sounds of ODM gear zipping in our direction filled the calm night air with a sense of alarm.

This certainly wasn't the Titan squad, They wouldn't risk being seen by the others and besides ODM gear was the most lethal way to travel through the forest and cut down your opponent.

I finished setting up my ODM gear instantly and shot the hooks into the air and they were instantly engraved into a tree.

I smiled at Wanda.

"I'll deal with them," I said and then applied gas, my body spun forward and into the air with a spin as my hooks were instantly off the tree and back in the ODM gear, I clicked my tongue and shot the hooks forward again, whooshing out of their sight.

Sounds of clashing steel echoed through the air as Eren had stood in front of Wanda, to act as a shield in case I couldn't hack it, Of course he had his two ODM blades on him in a combat stance.

His heart felt elated as he saw Wanda was a little less scared now and now someone was heading to them, The clashes had stopped and a single figure landed on the ground with a smile, Black hair with purple indents revealed the Person's identity.

"Seems like Eren is finally acting like a Man," I teased causing Eren's cheeks to turn bright red.

Wanda looked disoriented, not because of Eren, No He just acted like someone blindly in love, She analyzed my body with her eyes and yet not a single scratch.

"Well I just came here to take two people with me so we can invade their Carriage," I said, "Eren, Armin, Suit up, We're the men, Let's go!"

In the dead of the night, Three figures flew speedily through the air. The first month had been hell in my opinion, ODM gear training was fucked up but at least people were properly able to use it.

As the men of our squad approached the Carriage, Their defense force stopped us. It seemed like everyone had the same plans, 3 on the Attacking squad, 3 on the Defensive lines.

But would Three be able to stop me, I don't really think these people get how determined I am... My blood is boiling.

Eren shot a hook at a tree and brought out his blades, scraping them against each other.

"Haah!"

Armin landed on a tree branch, his eyes shaky as a member of the defensive force approached him. As for the last person, Her eyes were flickering.

"Where did he go?"

Suddenly something appeared behind her, pure power, a purple silhouette of aura, a monster that was sure to kill her if she tried to resist. I reached my hand out and gave her a chop to the neck, increasing the pressure around a certain area and her consciousness slipped, The next thing everyone knew, she was hanging off the tree she had latched onto.

As for those two, They should be able to take care of themselves. Right now, It was just a team of people I didn't know, Their Attack force had been wiped out by me and tied to some tree but if we let them get near our Carriage, well it's game over.

A hook attached to a brown carriage and with a burst of gas, I landed at the top of the Carriage with a smile.

"I guess it's game over for them then," I said and then noticed the two members of the Defense force we're heading for me, Eren and Armin followed behind and I suddenly felt a lot less confident in their skills.

I smiled as I ran for the Equipment section only for the first one to lunge at me with a Kick, I took a step back and dodged the attack easily, I punched him across the face sending him flying into a tree and smashing his ODM gear as well.

I jumped down from the top of the Carriage only for a hook to narrowly pass my head and stick to a tree, The last one was coming but I was already at the line, I removed it from the tree and the girl came crashing down on the ground, falling face first.

I stifled my laughter and then opened their Cargo section and smashed them up, These parts were incredibly fragile.

"Alright Spider men, Let's move out!" I shouted out and then shot into the air, a steady stream of gas shooting out of my ODM gear.
