Eren's POV

"Kairos Kan." said Levi

I was sitting on a chair in Historia's chamber watching a power point show with the others on Ghost's parents. His father's face was on the wall with his info next to it. Ghost has most of his father's face features.

"Both of his parents were Marines, so like his parents he joins the marines and there he fought many battles but hell they were all forgotten."

"We know that he and his wife were part of the Secret Service for the White House. Before that they were both Navy Seals members." continued Levi

"His mother, Sarah Kim mother of Lieutenant Colonel Ghost, was a Korean refugee in a concentration camp. There her life was terrible, I have no idea how she survived but both of her parents we hanged for defying orders. She was able to escape with others at the age of 14 and at the age of 18 she joined the US military." said Hange

A picture of her popped up and I noticed that her eyes were just like Ghost's.

"There she was under Kairos' command, he was her squad leader and that's how they got closer." said Hange

"How did they get in the Secret Service?" asked Jean

"They're were the squad protecting the President during an assassination mission for the Chinese." replied Levi, "But Recon gave this other drive to us for us to look at."

Levi plugs the drive into the computer and a whole new power point shows up. A picture of two people in lab coats, one male and one female.

"Don't we need her to explain this to us?" asked Connie

"Bring in Commander Recon." said Levi

Marlowe leaves the room and a few minutes later he comes in with Recon.

"What a surprise, last time I remember I wasn't allowed into your chambers."

Historia doesn't reply and looks away from her.

"Just explain these to us and you can get out." said Levi

Recon nods so we all focus back on the screen.

"They're my parents, he's my father, Albert Petrov. And she's my mother, Teressa Petrov." said Recon

I turn around and gave her a confused look.

"Why are we learning about your parents?" I asked

"They were some of the scientist of the NHEO. My parents thought it would be a great honor to evolve humans." said Recon

Me and my team began giving each other weird looks not knowing what we were about to learn.

"Both of my parents were friends with Ghost's parents." continued Recon

"What? Is Ghost also part of the organization?" asked Armin

"No they weren't." said Recon, "In fact, they're the ones who killed my parents."

The slide turns and on the screen, looked like a camera footage of a room. Red lights were blaring all around the room and there were emergency noises blaring. A couple seconds later a man in a lab coat runs into the room and starts gathering papers and puts them into a box.

"Is that..."

"Yes, that's my father." Recon answers Nanaba's question

That's when the door opens slowly and another man enters the room but he wasn't wearing a lab coat but rather a black vest and a thick jacket with thick pants and a beanie.

"That's Kairos." pointed out Mikasa

"Kairos! You're here thank God, you need to get me out of here." the audio was a bit staticky but there were subtitles on the bottom.

Albert franticly approaches Kairos but Kairos kicks him down. Kairos approaches Albert, picks him up and punches him multiple times.

"Kairos what are you doing?!" asked Albert as he was pushed to the ground

"No the real question is what the fuck are you doing?!" Karios yells back

"What do you mean?" asked Albert

Albert stayed on the floor with his hands up to protect himself from Kairos. I could hear the fear in his shaky voice.

"You didn't fucking tell me that NHEO fucking experimented on humans!" yelled Kairos

"It is for the sake of the future, of mankind what is so bad to risk human lives to do these things?!" asked Albert

"Human lives, we are talking about innocent human lives who you kidnapped off the streets!"

"We did not kidnap them, they were volunteers!"

"A kid volunteered? A kid is risking his life for the sake of humanity? They're not even the age to make decisions themselves and you're saying that they volunteered?"

Albert stays silent, the emergency noise still ringing throughout the room.

"I thought you were better than this Albert." Kairos pulls out his handgun causing Albert to be more frightened.

"Let me ask you this, is this personal or are these your orders?" asked Albert

Kairos looked at him but I could tell Kairos was scared of killing his friend, his arm was shaking and he just didn't seem to know what to do.

"Both." replied Kairos

And with that Kairos shoots Albert in the head killing him, blood splattered across the floor and wall behind him and the footage ends like that.

I turn and look at Recon, but she didn't have any expression at all on her face she just seemed so, focused.

"Who sent you this footage?" asked Hange

"The government after scavenging what was left in the factory."

"Kairos and Sarah destroyed it?" asked Reiner

"Yes, they set off an explosion. But this footage survived with other useless footage." replied Recon

"Okay, no offense, this isn't going to help us." I said

Recon looks at me with chilling scary eyes but just shrugs at me.

"I guess, this is the reason why I wanted to kill Ghost." replied Recon

"I don't understand, Kairos knew about a secret Russian organization." said Armin, "Why didn't he stop it in the first place?"

"My father probably lied about the objectives of NHEO." replied Recon

"With all due respect uhhhh, why are we learning this?" asked Marco

Recon presses a button on the computer and we see the same pictures we saw on the day of the conference. 10 American scientists in lab coats labeled NHEO.

"I don't know if the Russian President explained this, but these ten scientists are the head scientists of NHEO, the ones who started it." said Recon

"They started it?" Armin looked even more confused

'If Armin's confused what the hell am I supposed to feel?'

"That's why the Sentinels didn't want us to know." said Marlowe, "It all makes sense now."

"Did Kairos kill them off too?" asked Jean

"That's obvious, no one survived them." said Levi

"But something seems off to me." said Recon

She switches slides and it's a whole profile of each American scientist listed on it.

"They were prisoners?" questioned Annie

"The most wanted fugitives in America. They escaped the most secured prison in America, fled to Russia and started the organization there." said Recon

"So, it's not America's fault." said Ymir, "Hahaha, this is getting interesting!"

"Ymir control yourself." snaps Levi

"Whatever you say captain." replied Ymir

"Then why did the Sentinels attack us?" asked Connie

"I don't think it was Sentinel." said Armin

"Armin we were Sentinels before, they were clearly Sentinel." said Connie

"No Armin, let me hear what you were thinking." said Recon

"Well, we know that the Sentinels that did attack us were recruits who only been in the the corps for a year-"

"Armin." Recon cuts off Armin

Everyone looks at Recon and she seemed very pissed off.

"Where did you get that information?" she asked

Armin looked like he was going to shit himself but Hange stepped in.

"We got information on most of the prisoners and we noticed that they were only in the corps for one year." said Hange

Recon then glared at Hange.

"No one has the information on them besides Marksman cause he's the captain of Sentinel, it's impossible to find information on Sentinel." snapped Recon

'We're fucked.'

"You've been contacting Ghost team haven't you?" asked Recon

Everyone stays quiet in the room, I knew there was no way out of this.

"What else did you learn?" asked Recon but with her scary face on

"Well uhhhh we also learned that Kit, Javelin, Hacker, Juggernaut and Bomber were kidnapped and brought here to make it look like they were also part of it."

"Kidnapped? By who?" asked Recon

"Wait, you didn't kidnap them?" asked Armin

"Kidnap them, no I wish I did but no why would I do that?" asked Recon

"So they were kidnapped and brought here and took the blame for something they didn't do." continued Armin

"Whoever planned this planned this way before anyone could have saw it coming." said Recon

"So now what?" asked Levi, "Are we still going to hunt them?"

"Yes, we are." replied Recon

"But doesn't this make them innocent?" asked Marco

"Not to me, there's still something off." said Recon, "Plus I still want to kill Ghost."

"Well, since you caught us communicating with Ghost team shouldn't we just come clean and show you what we got so far?" asked Armin

Levi looked at Armin but nods in agreement. So Armin brings him computer over to Recon and opens it revealing the symbols they sent.

"I've seen those symbols, tough it was implanted in my brain but I think they erased it cause it fucked up my mind." said Recon

"Well we found out that is means may the dead be reborn. Does that click anything in you ma'am?" asked Armin

"No." replied Recon

"Well I guess we officially know that you're not the enemy." said Hange, "I suppose we can team up for this now."

Hange sticks out her hand for a handshake and Recon takes it and shakes it.

"But keep this in mind, I'm killing Ghost if I have the chance." said Recon, "His team too."

Hange doesn't seem to know what to say so she just looks at her with a big eyes. Recon leaves the room and we're left there dumbfounded.

Recon's POV

I walk into the dark dungeon and turn on the lights. The lights turn on, shining down on a Sentinel tied onto a chair, all sweaty and bloody. The rest of the room was dark so I used it as my cover.

"Are you going to talk now?" I asked

He just starts laughing and shakes his head.

"A Sentinel never breaks." he replied

I approach him and pull out at knife and pry out his fingernail. He screams in pain but I continue until I was done with one hand. He was crying and gritting his teeth in pain which gave me excitement.

"I'm going to ask you this one more time." I said, "Who sent you."

"Fuck you bitch, Lieutenant Colonel is going fucking kill you!" yelled the man

"That cost you another five fingernails."

I pry out his finger nails and he screams even more and tears streamed down his cheeks. When I was done his entire hand was bloody and he was crying like a little child.

"Well?"

This time the man doesn't say anything, he was just whimpering. I chuckle a bit and place my hand on his rib.

"Try not to scream."

I do a one inch punch on his on his bottom right rib, breaking it. He gasps and takes him a while to scream in pain.

"Still nothing? Well that can't be helped-"

"Wait wait please no more!" yelled the man in fear

I laugh hysterically and just look at them man.

"I thought you were a Sentinel! What happened?" I laugh

He looks in complete fear, I love it, fear.

"I'm not a Sentinel, I was hired to do this, they told me I'll get payed a lot." said the man, his voice shaky.

"Who hired you?" I asked

"Stephen Hart." said the man, "I swear that's the only thing I know, he hired other people who are here right now but that's all, I just want to see my family."

His eyes start tearing up and he starts crying.

"They said if I told anyone they'll kill my family."

I lean in towards his face and smile, even though he can't see my face.

"Don't worry, you'll see your family." I said and the man sighs in relief, "But on the other side."

I draw my sword and uppercut his chin with the point of my sword. He gags out blood and dies instantly so I pull out my sword and wipe the blood off of my sword.

"I think I should have a bit more fun." I whispered to myself

"Bring me another prisoner." I ordered a soldier who was standing behind me in Russian.

I turn to look at him and I saw fear in him, he looked like a teenage boy around 18. He could barely hold his gun and his legs were shaking, I thought he's knees were going to break.

"Do you want to be next, is that why you're standing there?" I asked him in Russian as I slowly approach him.

He immediately shakes his head and backs up a bit.

"Then get me another prisoner." I said

My face was really close to his face and I could see tears welling up in his eyes. He immediately nods and walks off as fast as he could to get me another prisoner.

'I can't wait to have Ghost sit on this chair, he'll be my favorite toy.'

I start to laugh hysterically, I couldn't contain my emotion so I just let it all out.

'I'm coming for you Ajax, you're going to regret meeting me.'
