Ghost's POV

"So these are Keegan's results huh?" I questioned

I looked through the papers Colt gave me.

"His scores are too low for him to join Sentinel." said Emily, "Even though he was capable of number one his attitude brought him down to fifth place."

I nodded in agreement.

"He just needs some time that's all." I replied

"He's going to get all bitchy about it." said Emily

Malvik chuckled at that.

"Maybe he should just stay in the Marines for about a year and then we'll see. Emma is going to be away for a year and I think it'll be better if they are both in Sentinel." said Emily

"Yea maybe." I replied, "But it's Logan's decision."

"Logan will, he killed the Queen of England give him time to rest." said Malvik

"The death of the queen was nowhere on the news." said Colt

"Who's the next target?" I asked

"Kit's taking out North Korea next." replied Malvik, "But he needs more evidence before he executes it."

"What about the HCLI?" asked Emily

"We're not going to deal with them. All they do is trade weapons and cross borders illegally. They killed a lot of soldiers who had to deal with them." said Malvik, "But we may have to deal with them since they're planning something called the Jormungand which will stop all aircraft at once but they have a long way to achieve that."

"Can't Timothy shut it down?" I asked

"He can but that's after it's launched into space." replied Malvik

"Why can't we deal with them?" asked Emily

"Not yet, we need hard evidence for now." replied Malvik

"I see it makes sense." replied Emily

I checked my watch and we needed to go pick up Keegan.

"I need to pick up Keegan." I said

"Okay, I'll be home so meet me there." said Malvik, "The rest of the crew is there."

"Huh you invited everyone?" asked Emily

"I did." said Malvik while smiling

"That's nice." I replied

"Okay I'll see you there then." said Malvik, "There's a car waiting for you outside."

I nodded and we left the office where Rina and Emma were talking.

"Let's go pick up Keegan." I said

"It's been a year since we saw him, do you think he changed?" asked Rina

I shrugged and sighed.

"Looking at his reports I don't think he did." said Emily

We left the white house but there was a crowd outside and there were cops who were trying to stop them from taking pictures. I saw one man aim his camera so I looked down and saw a pebble so I kicked it up and caught it in my hand. I quickly threw it so that no one saw me and it hit the camera breaking it.

"Nice throw." said Emily

"Could have been faster." I said

"Was that necessary dad?" asked Rina

"Oh well I don't know." I replied

Rina pouted and I continued walking.

"Rina when did you start calling me dad?" I asked

"Huh? I don't know it's just something I wanted to say for a long time." she replied, "Does it make you feel uncomfortable?"

"No it's just, new." I replied

"Ajax is just not experienced with it, he's still learning." said Emily

That's when I saw the car Malvik was talking about.

"A BMW M3 huh." I said

We all got in the car and I saw that the keys were already inside so I started the car and drove off to meet Keegan.

2 hours later

Keegan's POV

This entire camp was just bullshit, I do not get first place when I was literally better than everyone else in this camp. Fifth place my ass not even second place, how is that possible? Whatever it doesn't matter, I'm definitely going to get that invitation to Sentinel in less than a month.

I stood in formation with the others who were in this bootcamp, I didn't make any friends since they all thought I was weird but I could care less.

We did the graduation ceremony and everyone stood in formation until they were allowed to move when their family members arrived.

'Wonder if my family even came.'

I stood there watching others fall out of formation to greet their family members. I stood for a long time waiting for my family to show up, but they didn't and I was slowly getting tilted. Everyone began to leave and it was just me and a few others but then someone tapped my shoulder from behind.

"Let's go." I heard a familiar voice

I turned around and saw my dad standing there.

"Sorry we took long." he said

"For a second I thought you weren't going to come at all." I said

"No, we wouldn't do that." he replied, "Come on, everyone's waiting for you."

I nodded so I grabbed my bag and followed him.

"How was bootcamp?" asked my dad

"Bullshit, how did I not get first place?" I replied

My dad didn't reply for a second.

"I didn't get first place either." he replied

"I know you didn't, but it's so not fair." I replied

My dad looked at me.

"I saw your reports, it wasn't your performance that made you get fifth place. It was your attitude towards others." he replied

"My attitude? But they were the ones who disrespected me." I snapped

"And I told you that losing your cool isn't good." said my dad

"Yea whatever." I mumbled

"Let's go." said my dad

We got to a car where my family was waiting.

"Keegan!" excitedly said Rina

"Rina?" I gasped

She ran up to me and hugged me so I hugged her back. Emma came up to me and just patted my head which kind of annoyed me back then but I missed it so I allowed it. My mom came up to me and smiled then hugged me.

"I'm glad you graduated." she said

"But I wasn't first place." I said

"It doesn't matter what place you are in, you can improve in the future." said my mom

I nodded and we entered the car.

"Dad where are we going?" I asked

"To Mr President's house." he replied

"Uncle Malvik?" I asked

"Yea but seems like he moved to a new place recently." said my dad

"Hey Keegan guess what?" asked Rina

"What?" I asked

"I'm going to be working with Sentinel, that means I'll be close to home." she said

My heart dropped.

"Looks like I won the bet." said Rina while smirking

"You two made a bet?" questioned my mom

"Well, with the three of us." I replied, "How did you even get accepted?"

"I asked the President." replied Rina, "I wanted to learn more about the titans."

"That's not fair." I sighed

"Perks of graduating college early." said Rina

I rolled my eyes while smiling.

"Keegan, you should get some rest. It looks like you haven't slept a wink." said my mom

"Yea I haven't been able to." I replied

I sighed and leaned my head back and closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

2 hours later

Keegan's POV

I stared at the huge mansion in front of me with slightly wide eyes, everyone in my family also stared at the giant house in front of us.

"Since when?" asked my mom

"I don't know." replied my dad

"Are we in the right place?" asked my mom

"I never get the coordinates wrong." replied my dad

My dad looked at the front gate and slowly approached it and pressed a button.

"Is this Ajax?" came a voice that sounded like it belonged to Uncle Malvik

"Uhh yea it is." replied my dad

"Come in." replied Uncle Malvik

The gate opened and so we just walked inside the property and before we even got to the front door Malvik opened it.

"Took you long enough, the others are here." said Uncle Mavlik, "Long time no see Keegan."

"Ohhh Mr President." I quickly replied

"Don't call me that when I'm home." replied Uncle Malvik while smiling

"Did we take long?" asked my dad

"No it was earlier than expected." said Uncle Malvik as he let us in.

My eyes widened when we looked around his giant mansion.

"Why do you need a mansion?" asked my dad

"Oh cause my parents also live here." replied Uncle Malvik

We went to the living room and most of the kids were there, all of them were four years younger than me.

"Oh sir!" yelled all the kids as they got up and saluted

Emily started chuckling and my dad's eye just twitched.

"Why are all of you saluting?" asked my dad

"Oh our parents told us to." replied Alex Vale, the son of Colt Vale.

Everyone was here, Ellie, the daughter of the current Lieutenant Colonel of Sentinel, Kit. Conor, son of the President, Tony Clark son of Timothy Clark aka Hacker, Marcus Fischer son of Lucas Fischer aka Bomber, Leon Taylor son of Brock Taylor aka Juggernaut. I was the only one with two siblings, the rest didn't have any other siblings. My dad sighed and just shook his head and left heading towards the kitchen. I headed over to the bathroom and quickly changed into my civilian attire.

I headed over to the living room where everyone was waiting for me. Tony's a damn genius, built his first computer at the age of 6, now he's building his own damn robots not for combat use but just for house stuff. Leon is a quiet guy, his dad is the opposite but Leon just doesn't talk when he doesn't have to. Alex hesitates a lot, that's why when it comes to sniping his instincts aren't that fast but still faster than anyone in the world, he's second to sniping his father first. Marcus, now he's a crazy bastard and I like it that way. He knows when to kill and when not to but he's itching to kill anyone he lays his hand on only if they're a threat other than that he's a normal guy. Now Conor, he's like his dad but nothing like his mom which I find funny. Conor is a bit anxious when it comes to randomly killing someone which I find bad but on the good side he's been studying in the medical field like his dad. All of them were planning on joining Sentinel after receiving basic training.

I headed out towards the backyard and it was huge, you could probably play football here. All the adults were out here talking, even Lieutenant Colonel Kit.

"Oh if it isn't Keegan Kan, how was training camp?" asked Uncle Brock

"Oh not bad." I replied

"Do you think you can beat your dad?" asked Uncle Brock

"I bet I can." I replied while smiling

All the adults started smirking and I raised my eyebrow.

"How about we see it?" asked Uncle Lucas

"Huh?" questioned my dad

Uncle Timothy tossed me a rubber knife and I caught it.

"If you can even scratch your father then maybe I'll let you into Sentinel early." said Uncle Logan

I smiled knowing that it was going to be easy.

"Right now? Is that necessary?" asked my dad

"Come on you haven't sparred Keegan in a long time." said my mom

My dad looked at me and sighed.

"Fine." he said

I got into my fighting stance and waited for my dad to get ready.

"This is going to be interesting." I heard my sister whisper behind me

I lunged towards my dad and swung my knife at his arms and legs but he was easily dodging them with ease, his hands were even in his pocket.

"You got fast this past year." said my dad

I try to stab his stomach but he moved to the side and knees my face. I fell down onto the ground but I got up and kept attacking him.

"Go easy on him." my mom said to my dad just as he back kicked my rib

I fell and tumbled a few feet away so I grabbed the knife and threw it at his face but he caught it with just two fingers.

"Nice throw." said my dad

But in a blink of an eye my dad threw the knife at me and it hit my forehead before I was able to react. I fell onto my back and groaned as I rubbed my forehead in pain.

"Damn..." I heard others whisper

I was embarrassed by my loss but the others didn't seem disappointed.

"Well what do you expect, you can't beat Ajax." said Uncle Brock
