Eren's POV

I laid down on the floor in a room with Annie. She was cuddling with me in sadness from what happened today.

"I tried saving Moblit, but there were too many titans. I just couldn't hold them off." whispered Annie

"It's fine Annie, it's not your fault. I can't even harden my skin." I said

"You're going to learn how to do it." whispered Annie

"Or I can take the armor injection the Reiss family has." I said

Annie hugged me tighter and kissed my lips.

"After this do you think we'll be safer?" asked Annie

"I don't know." I replied

Annie nodded and closed her eyes and drifted to sleep. I leaned against the wall and drifted off to sleep as well

"Grisha I, no matter what form I take, I promise I'll come and find you." said a woman with blonde hair

"Dina!" yelled my father Grisha as she was pushed off and turned into the titan I recognized.

I gasped and sat up, startling Annie.

"Eren what's wrong, you're crying." asked Annie

I touched my cheeks and felt that it was wet.

"I, I saw my father. On a wall in a desert." I whispered

Annie seemed to know what I was talking about and held my hands.

"The place you saw is where Eldians who live in Marley are sent to become titans if they're criminals." said Annie

I looked up and started looking at Annie in confusion.

"My father was supposed to be a titan? Well I do remember eating him but I don't know." I whispered, "And the woman with yellow hair, I recognized her titan form. She was the titan that ate my mother."

"What was her name?" she asked

"Dina..."

"Dina fritz? Fritz is a royal blood. Makes sense, that must be Zeke's mother." said Annie

I got up and ran out the room looking for Zeke.

"Eren!" yelled Annie

I ran into the cafeteria and saw Zeke with the others. I ran to him and grabbed the collar of his shirt, getting him by surprise. I got everyone to stop and their attentions are on us.

"Who's Dina Fritz?!" I asked, "Why is she with my father?"

"Eren calm down, you must have saw his memories." said Zeke

I let go of his shirt and he sits back down.

"Sorry." I apologized

"No worries, anyways Dina Fritz is my mother." said Zeke

I clenched my fists in pain.

"She ate my mother." I whispered

I could Mikasa lower her spoon and look at me.

"Dina Fritz was the one who ate my mother when Shiganshina fell." I said

"Both of my parents have committed a crime so I had to inform the government." said Zeke

"You're the one, who told them?" I asked

Zeke nodded and I got so mad I punched him in the face.

"Because of you, my mother is dead!" I yelled

Annie tried to calm me down but I couldn't hold in my anger.

"Eren calm down, if he didn't you wouldn't have existed!" yelled Annie

"I don't care about my existence, I wanted my mom to live a happy life but instead he ruined not just his parents' lives but also mine!" I yelled

Mikasa and the others hold me down as I tried forcing my way to Zeke.

"Eren calm down!" yelled Jean

I started crying and screaming in pain.

"You ruined my fucking life!" I yelled

Zeke gets up and rubs his jaw.

"Our father didn't do anything for me. All he wanted to do was oppress my mind into thinking that Marlyean government was corrupted." said Zeke

"That doesn't give you the right to snitch on them!" I yelled, "Plus the Marlyean government was fucked up!"

"The Marlyean government did what they believed was right, destroy Paradis Island." said Zeke

"Marlyean doesn't even exist anymore dipshit!" I yelled as I continued to try to attack him

"Do you think humanity deserves to live?" he asked

The thought got to me and I kind of calmed down but then Levi comes in and kicks me in the stomach.

"Eren!" yelled Mikasa

I groaned in pain, clutching my stomach.

"You're so damn rowdy. Figure out your personal problems when we get home." snapped Levi

I smashed my fist on the floor and glared at Captain Levi.

"What the hell do you know about losing your family, huh?!" I yelled

Captain Levi lunged towards me but Hange and the others came in and held him.

"Levi calm down! He doesn't know anything leave him!" yelled Hange

"This brat just insulted my mother." growled Levi

"Like she raised you well." I snapped

But then I got punched not by Levi, but by Hange. I fell to the ground so she grabbed the collar of my long sleeve shirt and punched me again.

"Hange!" yelled Annie

I was waiting for another punch but it didn't come. I look up to see Kit holding onto Hange's arm and shaking his head.

"Enough, we're all having a bad day." he whispered

I was surprised to see Kit here, Hange looks at me with death in her eyes but lets me go.

"I thought you left." said Nanaba

"I was ordered to stay here with Javelin." said Kit

Kit leaves and everyone starts looking around trying to pretend like it never happened. Levi, Hange, Mike and Nanaba leave while Annie helps me up.

"Eren you do know you said some bad things right?" asked Armin

"No." I simply replied

"Eren, I understand that you're angry but please restrain yourself." said Annie

I ignored her and left the others and went back to my room. I closed the door behind me and I punched it so hard I broke my wrist. I winced in pain and the wound began healing.

'Goddammit.'

8 hours later

Ghost's POV

"I hate to break it to you but if we continue to play careless, we're not going to last another month." said Aid

"But my question is, they outnumbered us 3 times. Why did they fall back?" I questioned

"Probably because they don't want a direct flight with us. They're trying to protect something so they're definitely going to preserve the amount of fighting force." said Recon

"But we don't know where they're hiding their things and where it even is." said Phantom

"Let's have someone inside enemy lines." said Recon

"I think we already have two volunteers for that." said Phantom

Aid and I looked at Phantom and raised an eyebrow.

"Who?" we both asked

"Those two? Sure." said Recon

"Huh?" Aid and I asked at the same time

"Kit and Javelin." sighed Phantom

I let out a scoff in disbelief.

"They volunteered?" asked Aid

"Yes they did." said Phantom

"How did they even know about this?" I asked

"They expected it right away so they volunteered." replied Phantom

"That's why you told them to stay behind?" I asked

Phantom nodded and I clenched my fists.

"Why? You know how hard it is for me to let Kit yet you neglect that." I said

Phantom looked down and leaned against the hologram table.

"What the hell were you thinking?" I asked

"Ghost calm down." said Aid

"Why are you telling me to calm down when Kit your younger brother is going on a suicide mission?" I asked

"Because I have faith in my little bro." he replied, "I know he'll be fine."

I sighed in disbelief and looked at the others.

"What if they fail, then what the hell is Ellie going to think. Who's going to tell her that her parents were killed?" I asked

"Ghost, believe in him. We all have faith that he can do it." said Aid, "Javelin is one of our best and comes fourth in hand to hand combat."

"Marksman does." I fixed him

"Either way she's one of our best and Kit has good leadership." said Aid

I looked at him and he gave me a smile.

"If you have faith then I'm willing to have faith in him as well." I said

"Okay, then it's settled. We know all of their securities measures thanks to Hacker who safely and quickly downloaded all their security details. We'll inform them and watch from their hidden body cameras." said Recon

Kit's POV

"Our request got accepted." I said

Javelin looked at me and nodded.

"I'm worried about Ellie." I sighed

"Not like you took care of her." snapped Javelin

"Sorry, I'll take care of her." I replied

"I was kidding." smiled Javelin

I chuckled and sat on the edge of the carrier with her.

"We leave in 2 hours going undercover with TMO operators. Fake badges, fake IDs, fake names, fake background history and all that." said Javelin

"Oh you knew?" I asked

"I know things before you do." she replied

I watched the starry night sky above us and listened to the waves crashing against the ship.

"Javelin I have a question." I whispered

She looks at me and nods.

"Everyone in the team knew, before we rescued Phantom. That you liked Lieutenant Colonel Ghost." I said

Javelin chuckled and elbowed me.

"Why you're jealous?" asked Javelin

My cheeks turned red but thanks to my gas mask it was covering it.

"Kind of." I replied

Javelin smiled and held my hand.

"I used to like him but I knew he already loved someone. I didn't want to interfere with it and plus he wasn't the one." said Javelin, "Plus he and I talked about it."

"But what made you love me over him?" I asked

"A lot of things you don't know." she replied

"I didn't think we'd end up together." I whispered

Javelin smiled.

"After all the beating you gave me in the past years." I said

"Don't bring that up." sighed Javelin

"Sorry." I said

Javelin smiled and took off my gas mask then my bandana. She then lowers her bandana and kisses my lips.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me. You and Ellie are the best things that happened to me in a long time." whispered Javelin

I looked away in embarrassment but she grabs the collar of my vest and pulls me in.

"What about you?" she asked

"Of course you and Ellie. I'm glad, I got to marry you and start a family." I said

She smiled and kissed me again.

"Let's go and gear up." said Javelin

Javelin's POV

I rushed outside while putting on my jacket.

'Why does Lieutenant Colonel want to see me?'

I jogged towards the entrance and there was Ghost standing with his hands in his pocket leaning against a wall. He slightly waved towards me and I saluted.

"You don't have to salute me in civilian attire." said Ghost, "Plus I'm retired."

"Oh sorry sir." I apologized, "So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

He signaled me to walk with him so I did. We walked around the base and he sighed.

"You had feelings for me, right?" he asked

I nearly fainted.

'How did he know?'

"Everyone in the team knows Javelin." said Ghost

My heart sank, my mind went blank.

"Well, that was a long time ago sir. You have a wife now so I understood." I quickly replied so that I don't say anything stupid.

He smiled and looked at me.

"I'm glad, honestly it was hard for me too." said Ghost

"Huh?"

"Loving Phantom was hard for me. I would only hurt myself and you more." said Ghost

"Oh I understand sir." said Javelin

"You can drop the formality too."

"Oh okay." I replied

"I hope I didn't hurt you in any way in the past." said Ghost

"No no you didn't there's nothing to worry about." I said

"I see." he replied

"Plus, I have feelings for someone else." said Javelin

"No offense you're not good at hiding emotions." said Ghost

I chuckled and smiled.

"I get that a lot." I replied

"Ah, I see." said Ghost

"Well I'm glad we talked this out." I said

"I'm glad as well." he said

"Thank you Ajax." I thanked

"Don't worry about it Riku." replied Ghost

2 hours later

"We'll arrive there in 2 hours after departure." said Javelin

She was in a swimming suit that was tight and her breasts were showing, causing me to turn all red.

"What it's not like you never seen it before." said Javelin

"Sorry but I don't invade others privacy." I replied

"Says the one who entered the room without knocking." smiled Javelin

I turned red and looked away.

"Get on the Osprey. The Mark 8 delivery vehicle is inside. We drop an hour away so that we don't get spotted. Once we're on dry land, we change and blend in with our environment." said Javelin

I nodded and checked my gear.

"What are you guys doing?" called out a voice

I turned around to see Sasha and Connie holding food and looking at us.

"You'll be briefed on what we're doing so don't worry." I replied

"Okay, stay safe!" she waved

I waved back and Connie smiled and took a bite out of his potato.

"I remember when he was shorter than Sasha." I said

"All those memories will be remembered by all of us." said Javelin

We were just about to board the Osprey but then someone taps on my shoulder. I turned around and saw that it was Mikasa.

"Where are you going?" she asked

"Somewhere, you'll be briefed tomorrow morning. Don't tell the others." I said

But she turned around and I saw everyone in Scout team 104 standing there. I sighed and scratched the back of my neck.

"You'll be briefed tomorrow don't worry about us." said Javelin

"Looks like you're going undercover." said Armin

"You'll be briefed tomorrow, please leave." I said

"Why is Lieutenant Ghost letting you go?" asked Eren, "Plus you guys are married and have kids."

I ignored him and we boarded the Osprey. I closed the hatch and the Osprey took off.

"We'll be okay right?" I asked

"I'll protect you, don't worry." replied Javelin

I looked at my digital watch and turned it on revealing a small transponder screen. It was like a hologram but in 2D.

"Everything is in place, let's just stay safe and play carefully."
