Take off

Jean's POV

Connie looked at me but I looked up just in time to see Jaegerists came at us.

"Connie!" I gasped

I grabbed Connie and pulled him behind a small jeep before we got shot. Mikasa pulled Armin into the plane before he was also shot but Annie, Reiner and Ymir came and began killing the Jaegerists.

"We got the plane ready!" yelled Javelin

Connie and I began to return fire at the Jaegerists who were now swinging around with their ODM gear trying to take out the shifters. The plane started moving towards the lane to take off but the Jaegerists kept trying to take out the plane.

Reiner and Annie took out the Jaegerists while Ymir took out incoming technicals. I shot my gun at the Jaegerists swinging around Annie and Reiner.

"Get ready to get on board!" yelled Javelin through my earpiece

But there were too many damn Jaegerists, whenever I took out one, two more would replace them.

"Jean! Jaegerist reinforcements!" yelled Mikasa

I saw more trucks in the distance approaching the airfield but then suddenly they all exploded.

"Everyone on board!" yelled Javelin

"We're leaving!" I yelled

Connie and I ran as fast as we could towards the Boeing while being shot at. But then I saw Floch in the air and he was aiming straight for the Boeing. But then Floch was shot out of the air and I turned to see Gabi aiming her gun at Floch.

"Get everyone on board!" yelled Javelin

But there was too much fire power and there was no way the cart titan was going to make it without getting hurt. The titan shifters were also struggling, most of their limbs were gone and it was hard for them to move.

But then out of nowhere there was another explosion with a bright flashlight. I looked over and my eyes widened when I saw another titan but this one looked like the cart and jaw combined.

"Falco?!" gasped Connie

Falco began to terrorize the Scouts giving Reiner, Annie and Ymir time to get out of their titan. Pieck picked them up but as she was making her way to us Falco attacked her nape.

"It's his first time, he's losing control." I yelled

But Annie grabbed a sword from the ground and cut Falco's naked and pulled him out and they got on board.

I entered the plane and the cart titan but then more reinforcements began to come.

"Go on we'll cover you!" yelled Commander Magath

He and the ten scouts began to cover us as the cart titan got in.

"We're leaving now!" yelled Jackass

"No we're not leaving without the others!" I yelled

"Go save the world!" yelled Magath

There was an explosion near me nearly knocking me off. The plane started moving ready to take off.

"We're taking too much fire, we need to leave!" yelled Javelin

"Commander Magath!" yelled Gabi

"Go! Stop Eren!" he yelled

Javelin began to close the hatch and the Boeing began to go faster.

"Magath!" yelled Hange

"Go!" was the last thing I heard from him

"Fuck!" I yelled

We took off and I collapsed onto my butt and sighed.

"Fuck." I groaned

"Jean..." I heard Armin whisper

I looked over to him and his wound was nearly healed.

"We need to head to Africa." said Armin

"Why Africa?" I asked

"Eren's headed there." replied Mikasa

She showed me a video of a broadcast and the rumbling already reached Africa but the one titan that caught my eye was the giant insect looking one.

"That's Eren." I said

"Eren must be there because of Marley." said Armin

"Well we'll get there as fast as we could." I said

"We got some bad news and some good news." said Javelin

She approached us and sighed.

"Our fuel line was hit and we're losing a lot of fuel." said Javelin, "But the good news is that we can land on an airfield and find another plane to use."

"That's not really that bad right?" asked Sasha

"Well depends if we find one that's prepped. Right now, the titans will probably reach there in 2 hours." said Javelin

"How long until we get there?" asked Armin

"Hour and a half." replied Javelin

I looked over at Connie who's eyes were wide and he was staring at the floor.

"Hey Connie you okay?" I asked

Connie closed his eyes and shook his head.

"I can't believe I killed Daz and Samuel." whispered Connie, "I felt like a traitor, but I didn't want to do it."

"There was nothing you could have done." said Sasha

"No I could have just knocked them out." said Connie, "Not kill them."

Connie looked at Annie and Reiner.

"Now I understand how you must have felt, when you, Annie, Bertholdt broke down the wall." said Connie

Reiner looked down and Annie looked away.

"It must have been painful for all of you to bear this weight in your heart." said Connie

Everyone was silent in the Boeing and I sighed.

"Let's come up with a plan to stop this rumbling." I said

We all gathered around and Armin took the lead.

"We know that Eren's new form is the biggest titan form we've seen." said Armin, "But that doesn't mean we can't kill it."

"But we don't know if we can penetrate it with a sword." said Hange

"We'll use all the explosives we have." replied Armin

"What if..."

I looked over and saw Captain Levi trying to sit up.

"Levi you should be resting." said Hange

"I had enough rest." said Levi

Hange slowly helps him sit up.

"What if we just kill that hair fucker Zeke? Without him he can't use his founding titan powers. Right?" asked Levi

"Yes we'll do that then, this may help us so that we don't really have to kill Eren." said Armin

I looked over at Annie and she seemed to be thinking about something.

"I have a suggestion but I don't know if any of you will like it." said Annie

She slowly turned to us and looked at us.

"I have this ability where I can cave myself in a titan crystal like how Viri Tybur was inside the cocoon." said Annie, "I can fuse it together with Eren and we'll be caged inside."

"Then how do we get you out?" asked Hannes

Annie stayed silent.

"I don't know." she replied

"Then we're not taking that route." said Mikasa, "I'm not losing two people who I care the most."

"That does sound risky. Titan crystal is the hardest material out there." said Hange

Annie looked away and sighed.

"I can shift in order to blow up Eren." said Armin

"But we'll be killing Eren." whispered Mikasa

"We need to kill Eren." snapped Ymir, "Not just because he killed Bertholdt but because he won't stop."

"But maybe we can talk him out." said Hannes

"No, talking won't work anymore." sighed Armin

Everyone stayed silent for a while.

"Hey Falco calm down you-"

Falco rushed towards us and he was panting.

"I had a vision." said Falco

Everyone stayed silent and looked at him.

"I was flying in the sky, it had to be one of Zeke's memories." said Falco, "Mrs Leonhart isn't one of the female titan's power giving others their full power, like if I ate just your arm wouldn't I get the full power of the titan?"(Idk if that's right.)

"I don't know, I never tried it. I've heard about it but why?" asked Annie

"That means that I can be a bird! According to Gabi my titan looks like a bird." said Falco

"Falco calm down." said Colt

"Falco we'll discuss this later when we land." said Armin, "But for now we follow the plan."

Everyone nodded and I just took a seat and began checking my gear.

"We have plenty of gas left, enough to last 2 hours." said Mikasa

"Let's do this and go back home." I said

Ghost's POV

I crushed his skull with my hand and blood splatter all over my hand.

"Disgusting." I groaned as I shook it off.

"Clear here!" yelled Juggernaut

I nodded and looked over towards the distance.

"What are you looking at?" asked Phantom

"This so-called rumbling, how are we going to stop it?" I asked

"Sir it's Javelin!" yelled Kit

"Put her through." I replied

That's when Javelin appeared on my visor.

"Sir, we have a plan to stop the rumbling." said Javelin

"What is it?" I asked

"We're going to land on Eren's titan form and look for Zeke, without Zeke he can't use his founding titan powers." said Javelin, "If that doesn't work then Armin plans to shift and blow Eren to bits."

"You're planning on killing Eren?" I questioned

"Yes sir..." whispered Javelin

I sighed and looked at Phantom.

"Sir talking to him isn't going to work." said Javelin

"But there has to be a way to somehow capture him alive." I said

"We don't know about that sir." replied Javelin, "We did have a suggestion but we didn't want it."

"What's the suggestion?" I asked

"Annie has this power where she can crystallize herself into a cocoon. She planned to fuse herself and Eren together inside the crystal cocoon." said Javelin

"Is there a way to get her out of it?" I asked

"That's the problem, she doesn't know how to sir." replied Javelin

"Then I wouldn't suggest it." I said

"We know sir, but right now we're heading to an airfield to switch aircrafts and we'll be on our way. The kids will continue to head towards your direction." said Javelin

"Got it, we're counting on you to stop this." I said, "We won't make it there in 4 hours."

"How's things going on your end sir?" asked Javelin, "Is Kit okay?"

"He is." I replied, "We're nearly done here."

"Okay sir, is it okay if I talk to Kit?" asked Javelin

"Go for it." I replied

I put Javelin through Kit and they started talking.

"So, I guess killing Eren is the only way?" questioned Phantom

"I don't know for sure. I don't want to." I sighed

"You can never kill someone you're close with." said Phantom

"Is it easy for you?" I asked

"No I'm not saying that but it's just a weakness in you." said Phantom

"I agree, it's too hard for me." I said, "I guess it's just the way I think."

"How you think anyone can change?" asked Phantom, "Sorry but sometimes I don't believe in that ideology."

"Even after seeing what Recon did?" I asked

Phantom looked at Recon and sighed.

"Never mind you're right." said Phantom, "I wish I had your thinking."

"You do." I replied

I sighed and looked at my glove.

"Let's go." I said

1 hour and 30 min later

Annie's POV

"Shit, all hands brace." said Javelin

I grabbed onto my chair, the plane jerked and started to descend.

"Brace." said Javelin

The Boeing crashed jerking us all off our chair and we began to tumble into things. The Boeing landed and slid against the platform until he crashed into something stopping the Boeing.

I groaned and got up with the others and Javelin began to open the ramp. We piled out and I looked around to see that we were in a civilian airport.

"Everyone good?" asked Javelin

"Check." we all replied

"Great landing." sarcastically said Ymir

"Look for an aircraft that has full fuel and can reach Eren in time." said Javelin, "Eren will be here in 30 minutes so let's hurry it up."

The Bounty Hunters began rushing around trying to find an aircraft while I left with Mikasa, Flaco, Armin and Gabi.

"We're going to have to try the thing Falco was talking about." said Armin

I nodded and I sighed.

Jean's POV

I searched through the hangars and checked every plane but all of them were either too slow or low on fuel. I heard distant explosions and I assumed it was Falco training his titan power with Annie.

"Jean you got anything?" asked Connie through my earpiece

"Nothing, I'm going somewhere else." I said

The airfield was big so I took one of those jeeps and began to drive through the airfield. I couldn't find anything until I saw this hangar that was closed off so I drove towards it and tried to open the door but it was locked.

I tried to find another way in but there was no other way in so I quickly picked the lock for about 10 seconds until I got it. I slid open the hangar door revealing a private jet inside, I quickly entered it and saw that it was good on fuel and it could reach Eren in time.

"I got one, bringing it over." I said through my earpiece

I got on the pilot seat and turned on the engine and started it. I started driving it forward towards our group. Once I got to my group we began to prep it making sure everything's in place.

"Shit..." groaned Javelin

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Part of the tail is chipped. It'll take me 3 minutes to fix it." said Javelin

But then I felt the ground shake a bit.

"Huh this shaking..." whispered Reiner

We all looked behind us to the south and my eyes widened.

"The titans are already here?!" gasped Sasha

"Alpha 1-2 help me with this!" yelled Javelin, "Everyone else get on board!"

Everyone started to get on board but the titans will be here in less than 2 minutes.

"I can shift and blow them away." said Armin

"No that's risky, you'll be up against a hundred titans." said Reiner

"Armin!"

I turned and saw Hange in her ODM gear.

"Armin I'm appointing you as the 15th commander of the survey corps." said Hange

"Huh?" questioned Armin

"I'll hold them back for as long as I can." said Hange

"Hange san, that's reckless." said Javelin

"All you need is 3 minutes, I can hold them off for that long." said Hange

"Hange san no you can't." I said

But Hange started running off.

"Make sure you stop Eren!" yelled Hange

But then Captain Levi stopped her.

"I know you don't want this but it has to be done. My time has come." said Hange

But then Levi just saluted her.

"Dedicate your heart." he said

He limped away and Hange just started laughing.

"This is my first time hearing you say that." she happily replied, "I'll see you on the other side Levi."

"Hange san!" yelled Armin

"We need to go!" yelled Ymir

"We're done!" yelled Javelin

Reiner and I grabbed Armin's arm and pulled him as he tried to stop Hange.

"Hange san!" yelled Armin

I pulled Armin into the jet and watched as Hange killed three colossal titans.

"How much longer?!" asked Mikasa

"We're almost done!" said Javelin

"Armin lets go!" I yelled

I watched through the window as Hange shot a thunder spear at the titan's leg making it fall, causing the other titans behind it to trip over it and fall down slowing the rumbling. 

"We're done!" yelled Javelin

She quickly enters the jet with the Bounty Hunters.

"Taking off!" she called out

The plane started moving and started to go faster. But then that's when I saw Hange stop midair as her entire body was engulfed into flames and started to fall onto the ground.

"HANGE SAN!!!" yelled Armin

I began crying just like everyone else on the plane. Losing someone again was too much for me to handle.

"Goodbye, Hange." whispered Levi, "I'll see you on the other side."
