Disbelief
Annie's POV
"What a story." sighed Malvik
I looked at Brooks who looked sad from what Eren did to him.
"So he's the founding titan, I'm surprised." said Malvik
I looked at Ajax who seemed to be thinking about something.
"We should have someone track Eren, not through a device but actually watching him." said Ajax
"But who can do that, he knows all of us." said Malvik
"Send a Sentinel to track him, two actually." said Ajax, "No I want Bounty."
Malvik nodded in agreement.
"It'll only help us know what he's doing with Zeke." said Ajax
"Is my dad a bad person?" asked Brooks
Brooks looked at Ajax and Ajax sighed and kneeled in front of him.
"You're dad is a good man, but some people just lose their way in life. We're just helping him get back on the right path." said Ajax, "Go to your room, I'll help your mom get the dad you once knew and loved."
Brooks nodded and left to go to his room.
"Normally Keegan wouldn't listen." said Malvik
"Keegan has his ways." said Ajax
"Annie, we're leaving today so it'll be hard to make contact with you without getting caught but we'll try our best." said Malvik
I nodded and looked at Ajax.
"How does Zeke even have time to talk to Eren?" asked Malvik, "Isn't he part of a different squad?"
"Maybe we can separate those two for a while." said Ajax, "I'll let Hange know."
"Thank you." I said
"No need to thank us." said Ajax
Malvik's phone buzzed and he sighed.
"Looks like we're going home." said Malvik
They both got up but Brooks grabbed Ajax's jacket.
"Brooks how did you get down here so-"
"Please don't leave." said Brooks
Ajax looked at me then back at Brooks.
"I'm sorry, I wish I could stay here with you but I do have a family. I'll come back for sure though." said Ajax
Brooks looked scared so Ajax patted Brooks head.
"You remind me of young self." said Ajax
"I do?" asked Brooks
Ajax smiled just a bit and nodded.
"Protect your mom and sister, even though your mom is the toughest person I met." said Ajax
Brooks' expression went from scared to happy so he nodded.
"You'll hear from us soon." said Ajax
"Have a safe flight." I said, "Oh and one more thing."
Ajax turned around and looked at me.
"Please bring back the old Eren to me." I said
"I will." he replied
And with that he got in a car and drove off.

20 hours later
Ghost's POV
I got out of my car and looked at my house before entering it and took a deep breath. I opened the door and the first person I saw was Emily coming out of the basement all sweaty.
"I'm back." I said
Emily looked at me and her eyes widened and she smiled.
"You're back earlier than I expected." she said
I smiled and she hugged me.
"I missed you." she said
"I missed you as well." I replied
That's when Keegan came down the stairs and when he saw me he ignored me.
"Keegan." I called out to him
"Yea?" he asked uninterested
I pulled out the new phone and gave it to him.
"Got you what you wanted." I said
He looked surprised but he didn't know how to thank me so he just took it and walked away.
"Shouldn't you at least say thank you?" snapped Emily
"Emily it's fine." I replied
Emily sighed and nodded.
"Where's Emma?" I asked
"Here dad."
Emma came down the stairs with Conor behind her.
"Here I got you one as well." I said
"Thanks." she bluntly said with a small smile
'She's just like Emily.'
"Hey Conor." I said
He smiled and waved as I pat his head.
"Your dad will be here in an hour, he got you something as well." I said
Emma and Conor went back upstairs.
"Emma and Conor seem to get along." I said
"They do, Conor hangs out with Emma more than Keegan." said Emily
"I see." I said
I was about to go to my room when I looked over at the darts and I supposed Keegan was the last one to touch it because it was awfully off.
"Did Keegan throw those?" I asked
"Yea, Emma is getting there but Keegan isn't getting it." replied Emily
I grabbed three dots with one hand and threw it at three separate targets at the same time, all three darts hit a bullseye on the three targets.
"Still got your game." said Emily
"Yea I hope I do." I said
I went upstairs to our room and put down my bag.
"How was Eldia?" asked Emily
"It was irritating to be at a meeting. But Malvik's almost there to reaching his dream as a Senator." I said
"Yea, isn't Colt about to retire in a few months?" she asked
"I know Logan is going to take his place." I said
Emily helped me unpack my things and I looked out the window.
"You should rest, the flight must have killed you." she said
I nodded so I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

1 hour later
The arrow went straight through the wooden target.
"Good, now try hitting the target behind it." I said
Emma picked up her bow but looked confused.
"How do I do that, there's a target in front of it." she asked
I grabbed my bow and stood on her spot and knocked a bow onto the string. I pulled the string, aimed it, twisted the string and fired. The arrow swerved to the right and hit the target in the head right behind another target.
"What the..."
Conor had his mouth wide open in shock and awe. Keegan looked pissed because he was way behind while Emma looked amazed.
"Now you try." I said
Emma retook her position and knocked an arrow and aimed. She slowly twisted the string and fired, it swerved to the right midair but she hit the shoulder of the target, I was slightly amazed, Conor began clapping and Keegan looked lost of words.
"Not bad." I said
Keegan looked really jealous.
"I can do that." said Keegan
Emma looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"Move, I can do it." snapped Keegan
Emma moved out of the way as Keegan took her spot. Keegan got ready and began to twist the string but he completely missed by at least 3 feet. Keegan looked annoyed so he tried again but the outcome was the same.
"Your shoulders are too stiff." I said
He ignored me and fired another shot missing again.
"Relax your shoulders." I said
"Can't you see that I am?" he asked, "Damn, you're a terrible teacher as well."
Emma got pissed but I stopped her but she just continued to glare at him.
"I bet the famed Lieutenant Colonel Ghost would be a better father like figure than you, and a better teacher." said Keegan
He tried again but this time he visibly relaxed his shoulder and when he fired he got the arm.
"See, I can do it without you." said Keegan
I decided to stay quiet but Emma was clearly getting mad. That's when Emily came out and looked at Emma with an eyebrow raised. Then she looked at Keegan and understood why. But before Emma could do anything a car pulled up and Malvik came out.
"Dad!" excitedly yelled Conor
"Sorry I took long." said Malvik as he picked up Conor onto his shoulder
"It's fine." I replied
"You should stay for dinner, it's getting late." said Emily
"Yea you should." I said
"Sure thing, you like that right buddy?" asked Malvik
Conor nodded but Keegan just went back to shooting arrows.
"Let's go to the shooting range." said Malvik
I looked at Emily and she just nodded so I led Malvik to my other basement under the island revealing loads of guns.
"Shitttt, you're loaded." laughed Malvik
We grabbed the stuff we needed taken off in my car towards my private shooting range a mile inside this grassy plain.
When we got to my shooting range I already had most of my dummies set and all that so I began setting the weapons on the table.
"I bet you got rusty." I said
"Maybe who knows." laughed Malvik
He cocked his custom hk vp9 and put on some soundproof headphones and glasses.
He began firing at each target, hitting every one of them, 10 targets in 4.5 seconds.
"Damn it." he sighed
Emily was next as she cocked her custom xd-m elite and began shooting, getting a 4.2 seconds.
I had two personal guns, one was my mom's glock 19 and the other was a glock 34 magwell. I personally like the glock 34 magwell, but I keep my glock 19 close since it's really the only thing she left behind for me.
I began firing, hitting all the targets and when I checked my time I got a 3.9.
"Damn, all of us got rusty." said Malvik
I nodded and next was Keegan and one look at him I could tell he was over confident in himself.
He loaded a glock 43 and he began firing but he started missing some shots causing him to get irritated.
"30.5 seconds." said the unimpressed Emma
Keegan groaned and looked at the gun.
"Something's wrong with this gun." complained Keegan
Emily took it and shot all the targets in 4.4 seconds.
"Nothing's wrong with it." said Emily
Keegan just leaves and Emma takes the next shot, using the same gun Keegan used, she was able to hit all her targets but the only problem was her time.
"21.5 seconds, you improved." I said
Keegan looked jealous but Conor was smiling and clapping.

1 hour later
"And boom, I came down the ropes and saved your dad." said Malvik
"Wow, you must have had the guts to do that." awed Keegan
My eye twitched once he finished saying that story.
'You literally told them, what happened?'
"Wow, how did you pull him out," asked Keegan
"So I was upside down when the rope was hooked onto me, so I had to breach the roof first and get to him." said Malvik
"So you had to save my dad?" asked Keegan
"Sure did." said Malvik
Keegan looked excited and he wanted to hear more but the food came.
"Wow this looks great." said Malvik
We began to eat and talk a bit more.
"Have you met Lieutenant Colonel Ghost?" asked Keegan
"Of course, we all did." said Malvik
"Even everyone on the legendary Ghost team 117?" asked Keegan
"We had a joint task force operation together." said Malvik
"What's Ghost like? Is he awesome?" asked Keegan
Malvik looked at me and smiled.
"Hey Keegan, what if I told you that Ghost was just like your dad." said Malvik
Emily nearly spit out her food but she maintained her cool.
"No way, Ghost is ten times better than my dad." said Keegan
Emily smiled and I just looked at Keegan.
"I'm telling you Keegan, your dad is like the other version of Ghost." said Malvik
"I do not believe that." said Keegan
"Do you believe me Emma?" asked Malvik
"I mean I can't say for sure." said Emma, "My father is a great fighter but I never seem Ghost nor will I ever will."
"No, I still don't believe it." said Keegan, "Is that true mom?"
Emily looked up and smiled.
"Hundred percent." said Emily
'You're seriously playing along with this.'
Keegan looked at me and I just eyed him.
"I can't see it." said Keegan
I shrugged and sighed but that's when someone knocked on the door and when Emily opened it, it was Tessa.
"Sorry I'm late." said Recon
"Mom!"
Conor ran and hugged Tessa as she hugged him back. Tessa took a seat and got some food.
"Thanks for the food." said Tessa
"Aunt Tessa I have a question." said Keegan
"What is it?" she asked
"Have you fought with Lieutenant Colonel Ghost?" he asked
"Yea we did." said Tessa
"Is Lieutenant Ghost like my dad?" asked Keegan
I looked at Tessa as she looked at me and she smirked.
"A lot, they're like twins." said Tessa
'Really?'
"Why does everyone say that my dad is like Ghost?" asked Keegan
"Cause it's true." said Tessa
Keegan stopped asking and Emily, Malvik and Tessa smiled at me and I nearly smiled.
