She hung on him like a koala, slender and light. He could probably push her away with slight effort.

"Why are you like this?" His voice was low.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Chen Jiao's voice sounded.

Tang Wu looked at Lan Yue with a smile in her eyes. She struggled free from his hand and let go of his neck before turning to walk toward the door.

Her fingertips touched the door handle.

He grabbed her shoulders.

She raised her eyebrows. She looked bold and unafraid of anything.
