Chapter 1 - The end and the beginning

One moment a giant world could be seen, even bigger than some suns at their greatest, looking majestic and full of life. The next moment, it was gone, and replacing it was an explosion so enormous that it could not be measured and its end wasn't visible.

Stretching out for hundreds of thousands of kilometers, it was the biggest ever seen, and probably will ever be.

Its light could be seen through the whole galaxy, reaching the eyes of every living creature through in it.

In a giant world that was filled with fire, a giant castle that was surrounded by countless volcanos and lava lakes stood silently, throwing a giant shadow as the light of the explosion shined brightly on the planet.

One single humanoid man could be seen standing on the walls of his castle, stretching out his hand to shield his eyes from the bright light.

The castle looked imposing, it had five towers reaching into the sky and many buildings in between them. Connecting the five towers was a giant wall. The whole castle had the same color as the surrounding landscape, a fiery red.

However, the most impressive of all was the giant hall standing in the middle, which was decorated extravagantly, reaching nearly the same height as the towers.

Standing on his walls the humanoid looked up with eyes full of emotions, whispering silently as he did so.

"Goodbye old friend, farewell. We will never forget you! That I swear by my name, Krin Felscylla."

He roared out the last part with all his might, shaking the world as he did so and every being on it knelt simultaneous as they heard the words of their lord.

And at the same time he mobilized every part of his energy, and even taking some from his planets core as he fired out a beam made out of the most potent fire the galaxy had to offer.

The beam travelled through the empty space towards where the explosion previously occurred, and hit a small black orb.

The world trembled once more as a bit of its core was extracted and sent out.

The beam contained incredible power, overshadowing even the most powerful suns.

And all of that power went into the orb, turning it bright red.

He turned around slowly, a silent tear falling form his face, and hitting the ground where it evaporated immediately.

Walking back inside his castle, silents words could be heard on the now empty wall.

"Let his sacrifice don't be meaningless, or I swear, I will end you myself!"

Similar events could be seen through all of the universe, on a world filled with ice, one filled with water, one filled with electricity, one filled with endless earth, and so much more, as all of them mourned their old friend and shaking the whole galaxy with their power and emotions.

As if all beings were one, everything went silent, nobody made a sound and everyone knelt down simultaneously as they all felt their lords emotions and saw those powerful beams containing power from the core of their worlds, the worlds that are the fundamental ones of the galaxy.

Understanding that something truly important must be going on, and seeing that explosion, they all wondered what happened but nonetheless everyone mourned while at the same time feeling excited as those beams meant that something truly great must be happening.

As every lord sent one beam of their own element, many could be seen traveling through the usually empty galaxy, illuminating it quite a bit.

It was truly an amazing and beautiful sight many sighed at the sight before wondering where those beams are headed.

Each time the orb absorbs an element, the existing elements and the new one share the space equally, making the orb seem like it had a rotating rainbow hidden inside.

As more and more elements hit the orb, more and more colors added onto each other, the orb look even more dazzling.

The moment no more elemental beams arrived at the orb, it was already nearly shattering because of the power it contained.

However, just at this moment the orb actually expanded quite a bit getting at least twice as big as before, being now around 1/3 of a meter in diameter.

And as it expanded, it actually started to absorb the surrounding energy bit after bit, slowly filling it back to full and strongly strengthening the already existing elements.

In a far away world, the light from the explosion flashed, and everybody on this planet was blinded for a second, before the planet started trembling a bit.

That world actually was covered in green and blue, as there were vast oceans and great forest covering the planet. Although giant cities could be seen too. (A bit like earth)

It felt like the whole world was experiencing a weak earthquake at the same time, surprising the inhabitants quite a bit, as something like that never happened before.

It was a technologically advanced world that was completely relying on those technologies and didn't even know 'magic' except for fairy tails and such.

However, that was about to change, as the energy that was dormant before actually started to become active, entering humans, animals, plants, objects, and the world itself all at once.

For humans, those that are unable to endure the sudden change would simply die, falling down lifeless.

As for those that are able to endure, their lives were about to change drastically.

Once more such events happened all throughout the galaxy, awakening many worlds and changing the lives of every inhabitant either to the better or to the worst, if it didn't kill you immediately.

Watching those changes, the fundamental worlds of their galaxy all had mixed emotion concerning the changes happening, but all had one thing in common, they felt hope for the first time in centuries.

Thus a new era was born, but to determine if it would plunge the galaxy into chaos and madness, or if it would be the salvation of them all was to be awaited.
