11 One-Shot: Ging's picture

( I'm thinking of posting one-shots every ten(10) chapters. I don't know if it's a good idea tho.  It will not follow the main story btw and it has no relation to it. Hopefully I'll keep it up! I'm not creative but I'll try, I hope you won't find it boring ~)

[ATHY'S POV]

I was in the kitchen helping out our Cousin Mito.

"It smells great, Aunty!" I chirped as I got closer to her corner.

"Right? I hope it tastes as it smells~" she giggled.

I nodded then Gon barged inside the kitchen and held Mito's hand

"Come on! Mito-san, did you forget what you promised!?" he said while pulling her hand.

"Hm? A promise?" I questioned, tilting my head to the left.

Gon noticed and let go of her hand then got closer to me with a cute smile on his face.

' I think.. He's glowing!?'

" Mito-san promised to give me Father's picture if I wake up earlier than I usually do and help grandma in the garden!"

' what!? '

"a-ahaha.. That's.. Cool." I managed to say as tick marks formed on my forehead.

"oh my, I guess that's true"Mito smiled a little.

' nope nope nope! Don't give him that rat's picture!'

___________________TIME SKIP__________

"there you go, Gon" Mito said as she handed him the small picture.

"yay!" Gon chirped.

I clicked my tongue as I watched them.

' You don't need that! I'm going to become stronger than him besides  why are you paying him attention when I'm here!?

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't noticed I was left alone, Mito went back to the kitchen and Gon went outside to take a walk or maybe he needed time alone.

I followed after him and shout out to him to get his attention which was successful.

He stopped walking and waited for me as I ran and managed to catch up with him.

"Hey Gon, are you that happy with a mere picture of a ra- uhem Father?"

He smiled brighter than he did earlier ' I'm  going blind!'

"Well, yes! Even if he's not really here, it makes me feel that he's with us now "

"well, then since it's so precious you have to hide it, right?"

"hm? Why? I don't want to do that!"

"tsk!"

"what's wrong, Athy?" he tilted his head.

' so cute!'

"let's burn it." I accidentally said my thoughts out loud.

He blinked a few times then screamed "YES!?!?"

"w-wait it's not what I meant! What I was saying was uh um.. It might get burned! Yes that's right, it will get burned because the sun is so strong today! Wow it's hot isn't it?" I kept talking nonsense while waving my hands in front of my face.

' WHAT AM I SAYING!! SOMEBODY STOP ME I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!'

"ah, right! Thank you Athy!"

' YOU BELIEVE THAT NONSENSE!? WHY ARE YOU SO INNOCENT?!'

"a-ahaha.. Haha.. Ha.. Yeah."

"let's go back!" he said and held my hand then we walked back home together.

___________TIME SKIP:NIGHT_________

' dammit.. Does he have a sixth sense or something?! I'm so tired..

I have been trying to get rid of that picture all day long.

I tried burning it, but my favorite book got burned instead.

I tried throwing it in water, but it didnt damage.

I tried stealing it but he was holding onto it.

I tried everything! '

I sighed and looked up at the stars, laying down on the grass.

' come to think of it.. This is the first view I saw when I first reincarnated in this world'

I chuckled slightly.

"Athy." Gon called out, sitting next to me.

He surprised me since I wasn't paying attention.

"ah Gon!" I sat up.

"You know.. I noticed that you were trying to take this" he showed the picture of my enemy.

"what are you talking about?" I tried acting innocent.

"I know when there's something troubling you so, tell me. "

' why are you suddenly acting so mature!?'

I sighed and gave up.

"I.. I didn't want you giving all your attention to that bas- father and forgetting about me."

' I don't know anymore whether I'm lying or not'

"What are you saying? You're my precious sister, I love you more than anyone else in the world!"

"really?"

"yup! And I'll give it back to Mito-san tomorrow morning, so don't be sad anymore!"

"you'll.. Do that? You don't have to!"

"nah it's fine besides, she's the one who will keep it safer than me"

I nodded slightly.

"thank you, Gon. I'm sorry. "

"It's fine!" he chirped.

' damn. I feel bad. '

"I'm sorry for making you feel jealous "he grinned playfully.

"w-who was jealous!? It's not me!!"

"Yeah yeah!" he laughed.

We tickled each other then laid down on the grass to watch the stars.

"I love you, Gon"

"I love you too, Athy"

We fell asleep while holding each other's hands.

[MITO'S POV]

I walked outside to call them back but I saw them sleeping soundly on the grass.

' they're so cute. And even their habits are similar to his. '

I smiled to myself, picking them up to take them home.

' sleep well, Gon, Athanasia. '
