4 Chapter four: he also looks familiar...

[ATHY'S POV]

I sweat drop as two little girls keep pulling me by my hands and drag me around the little garden while they sing "play with us pretty onee!"

'how... Did I get into this situation again!?'

~flashback~

Me and the old- I mean grandma finally arrived at our destination after a whole day and a half of traveling.

This island doesn't seem that different from our previous one, well at least in my own eyes. I glanced at her and she smiled warmly. "so... You must really care about this Friend of yours, grandma?" I asked, trying to get as much information as I could, even if it's useless ones, while not being direct of course. "ah, yes of course! Furume is one of my closest friends, more like a sister. She used to live in whale Island but they moved here when her son, Subaru married, a beautiful woman named Kira. Furume household has always been there for us and helped us in many ways. So when I heard that she got sick, I immediately decided to visit her. Even if it's just a slight fever, I would still cone all the way here to help them or just pay a simple visit." she finished her words and turned her face towards me with a warm smile.

I paused for a moment. 'how selfish of me.. Not only gon, mito-san and my favorite characters that I need to protect.. How could I forget that grandma is part if our family? I have to keep her safe and make her happy!'

I thought then ran up to her with a bright smile on my face "I'll help my precious grandma!" I said and giggled. "yes, thank you sweetie! Oh looks like we're already there!" I looked ahead of us a saw a small house, what caught my eyes was that it had a beautiful garden, despite being located in the middle of a forest.

My grandma walked up ahead and knocked gently on the door, then I followed and stood behind her.

After a few seconds, a beautiful woman opened the door. She had brown hair that reaches her shoulders abd green eyes. She wore a simple long blue dress with slippers. 'she must be Kira huh.'

"oh you're here!" she smiled and stepped aside "please come in!" grandma thanked her and went inside, with me following behind her. We sat on a soda, where the other old lady was sitting. "I haven't seen you in a while, how are you feeling?" My grandma asked her, with a concerned tone. "ah I'm fine! It's just a little cold nothing to worry about my dear" she answered with a smile then she looked at me"and who might be this beautiful young lady?" I smiled a little, just enough to look polite and stood from my place then bowed slightly "I'm Athanasia freecss." then my grandma told her about me being her grandson's daughter etc. They kept chatting for a while until Kira came back with two little girls, they were twins. 'what's up with twins these days..? Well, at least they look pretty much alike. Unlike gon and I.'

"say hi to grandma's friend, Ayumi, Ayami " Kira instructed her two daughters.

The girls looked around 5-6 years old. They had brown hair like their mother's  and it was short, their eyes were dark blue. They both wore mini dresses, Ayumi wore a blue while Ayami wore a green one. They looked at my relative and bowed cutely "h-hi!" Ayumi greeted us.

Then they saw me and ran towards me "pretty onee!" they both exclaimed at the same time. "h-huh?" I was so confused. "onee, you're so pretty!" Ayami said. I could see their eyes sparkling. "aww, looks like they really like you, Athy-chan." Kira said while smiling "why don't you show her around the garden, Yumi, Yami?" they both nodded quickly and grabbed my hands and dragged me outside.

'they didn't even ask for my opinion!'

~end of flashback~

I sigh and pull my hands away from their grasp and look at them, smiling a little "why don't we play hide and seek?" they both giggled and yelled "yeah!" at the same time. "then to make it more interesting, I'll hide and you both will come to find me, how about it?" I suggested. They both nodded their heads then closed their eyes with their small hands. I hurried into the forest, after I ran far enough I sighed in relief. "not my fault that I don't like babysitting " I mumbled, to no one in particular. "well, enough with time wasting, time to train to become an op character!"

After a few hours, I finally ended my training. "hm. It's going to become dark pretty soon..." I whispered and got up to head back but there was one problem... "which way was it again...?" I sigh and shake my head. 'I'm really stupid, how could I roam around an unfamiliar place without a guide or even a map!?' I question myself while walking around trying to find my way back.

After 20 minutes of walking, I groaned and decided to just wait there for someone to pass by, but I happened to spot a person laying on the ground behind a tree. 'oh, finally I'm saved!' I think as I walk closer, to my surprise, there was traces of blood around them but I decided to ignore it 'they seem injured.. ' I keep walking closer 'huh..? A familiar outfit.. ' "hey, you're not dead now are you? Look, I'm new here, " I'm still getting closer "I'm not really lost but eh... I'd really appreciate if you could.. Tell me.. The.. Way.. B.. A.. Ck..?!" I barely finish my sentence, with my eyes wide open from the surprise after I saw the person's face and discovered their identity.

'no... No way... What are they doing here!?'
