Chapter 1: Jasmine

Summary so far:

The traveler is someone who has been transmigrated to the world of Naruto. There, their soul merged with Naruto's and, over time, they became a god. However, feeling disconnected from that world, they decided to find their way back to their own world. To do so, they split their soul in two and created a second body to infiltrate the Stargate universe.

Once in the Stargate universe, Xion discovered they were mortal again. Using their knowledge of the future, they managed to regain their divine powers and information to return to their original world. To achieve this, they must establish themselves in various universes, accumulate power, knowledge, and skills.

Because of this, Xion has now infiltrated a cultivation universe in search of a stronger body and a soul to continue their journey.

Chapter 1: Jasmine

At the end of the created portal, Xion glimpsed their target: a boy sleeping in a bed in an oriental-style room. Their cells invaded the boy's body, and the assimilation process began at an almost imperceptible pace. The first thing assimilated and consumed immediately was the soul, taking with it memories, experiences, and abilities.

"I am Yun Che, and this is the world of Against the God," thought Xion, satisfied with their success.

Xion was in a spacious room with polished wooden floors and oriental decoration. There was a small girl asking if he was okay, calling him "Little Che," but he knew he was Yun Che not because of her but because he had all his memories and experiences.

However, he was not Yun Che and did not care about Yun Che's life. He had none of his feelings. In fact, Xiao Lingxi, one of Yun Che's many love interests, was talking to him, and he had no trouble ignoring her as he had a massive headache from taking possession of this body.

Xion felt no guilt for assimilating Yun Che's soul, as once he became a god in this world, he could use the Rinnegan to bring him back. Of course, to achieve that, he had to succeed and not die.

Xion had chosen the beginning of the story because from here, he could progress calmly. He reflected on this world and its history. It was precisely the start of this story, and seemingly, it was no different from many others of the same kind. The protagonist, whose body he occupied, was an ordinary person with no cultivation power, making him a perfect target. Also, he was crippled, which was another cliché. In the future, he would also encounter a super master, countless treasures, and women.

Considering this, it was a cliché world where someone like him, who knew the entire plot, could easily become an absolute god and achieve immortality if desired. However, the problem was that this was only in appearance because this world had a countdown to its destruction. The reason was that everything was broken. Everything was damaged. This world had been destroyed millions of years ago, and in a few decades, the entire existence would come to an end. The people part of this story were also broken. Even the apparent girl in front of him, calling him "Little Che," was a broken being. Xiao Lingxi had died in her mother's womb, and this was the reincarnation of the Ancestral Goddess who created this small world.

She wasn't an innocent being; she used a celestial treasure to give Yun Che, who had just been poisoned, a new life because she had plans for him. Nor was she an evil being, just someone who wished to save this world with a tragic history behind it. A tragedy that occurred millions of years ago and that he couldn't resolve. It would always be like this in the future. In this world, everyone was broken. Everything was a tragedy. This world was dreadful because everything was predetermined, and the protagonist couldn't fix anything in the disaster that was the lives of the people around him.

It's not that he couldn't achieve immortality, Xion, because with his knowledge and the abilities that would awaken as his cells recreated in this body, it would be easy to acquire the strongest powers. Yun Che, whose body he had taken, was not an ordinary mortal either. He could acquire any legacy and power, something not even the gods of creation could do, and that only the Evil God had achieved with great difficulty by combining his power with the dark gods. Moreover, this protagonist had an understanding that bordered on the absurd. It couldn't be compared to his own, as he was a god and possessed divine technological knowledge, but in his own story, no one could surpass him.

With all this, this protagonist was another case of a perfect "Gary Stu." The only way the story's antagonists and villains could face him was through his vague personality. He didn't train unless necessary and didn't have access to things beyond his reach and knowledge. Of course, Xion wasn't the protagonist, and as he knew this world wouldn't last long, he wouldn't waste his time. When his enemies barely noticed him, he could easily destroy them thanks to his knowledge of resources and characters he could rely on to become stronger.

Moreover, something was happening. His divine cells were adapting rapidly to this world. Xion supposed it was because the world was broken, and reality was unstable. This universe couldn't completely block his power, giving him another advantage. If, with all this, Xion let himself be intimidated, it would mean he had mental issues. As for the world that was about to be destroyed…

Xion shook off his thoughts. Now he was Yun Che… No, at this moment, he was Xiao Che, a member of the Xiao clan in this city called the Cloud. His body barely contained cells from his old body, which would need energy to regenerate and turn this body into his own. Since that was far away, he couldn't afford to be distracted, as he had no time to lose.

"Little Aunt, I'm fine," Xion said. He could reveal to this woman that her act was unnecessary, but he really had nothing to talk to the Ancestral Goddess about and preferred his personality to remain hidden.

"Xiao Che, I've sent for the doctor," Xiao Lingxi said with concern.

"Thanks," Xion said. "But I'm fine," he said and quickly moved to take her arm and embrace her, sitting her on his lap. With the same motion, he held her by the breasts and began to give her a gentle massage.

"Xiao Che, what are you doing?" Xiao Lingxi asked in a whisper. Xion sighed. She wasn't resisting, and her voice was almost a moan. This personality of the Ancestral Goddess was bold, as she believed she had a blood relationship with Xion and didn't mind.

Five minutes later, Xiao Lingxi shivered, and after a few seconds of sighs, she got up from Xion's lap and, with her head down, left the room. Xion made no sexual advances with her, aside from touching her, as when Yun Che tried to have intercourse with her in the original story, the personality of the Ancestral Goddess sleeping inside her prevented him from achieving an erection, and Yun Che couldn't fulfill his desires.

Xion had no intention of having sexual relations with her; he simply felt pity for the poor Northern Goddess who was sad because today was Xiao Che's wedding.

When Xiao Lingxi, the incarnation of the Ancestral Goddess, left, Xion got up from the bed and went to look at himself in the mirror.

Despite being disabled in terms of the power to become a god, what in this world they called cultivation, he wasn't in terms of his physical form. He was a sixteen-year-old youth, tall, with long and straight black hair, black eyes, and pale skin. He was attractive, even outstanding, so the protagonist was proud in that aspect. He was young, and his personality was arrogant. He was also very lustful and perverse, with great charisma and charm to back up his appearance. In contrast, Xion was introverted; his charm was a side effect of his temporarily deactivated omnipotence, and his charisma was based on his strength.

In conclusion, he and Yun Che were opposites and did not think the same way about how they should live. However, there was something they would handle in the same way, and it was the event about to happen that day, which was the beginning of the story.

That event was a wedding, the wedding with the main protagonist of the story and a walking tragedy, Xia Qingyue. This girl didn't even exist; she was created by Xiao Lingxi to protect Yun Che from the Karma that would occur by changing his fate. The fate of this girl was, literally, to endure tribulations in his place, and even before she was born, she had been through a lot. Still, with him there, at least she wouldn't make the same mistakes due to ignorance; he would try to give her a better future. And as she was part of his reality, he had no problem uniting their destinies in marriage because, in fact, their destinies were already linked, and the closer they were, the fewer misfortunes would befall them.

Making a decision, Xion followed the original plan in Yun Che's memories, who also had his own plot of tragedies that led him to become a cripple. Still, he didn't care at all because he wasn't Yun Che; he would only help his relatives since he had borrowed his place, and it would surely take years to bring him back.

Xion thought about the advantages he had by being Yun Che in this world. Yun Che wasn't a common character; he had a celestial treasure that allowed him to live three lives. The first was as Xiao Che, where he died poisoned at sixteen by his adoptive cousins who envied his marriage. The second life was on another continent, as Yun Che, the adopted son of a divine doctor who allowed him to study half of a divine life technique created by Li Suo, the goddess of life, and that she called the Miracle of Life. From this divine technique, Yun Che had half and could cure almost any disease in this world as long as he had the necessary ingredients.

Later in the story, thanks to a divine technique called the Great Way of the Buddha, Yun Che would no longer need medicinal herbs unless it was a potent poison. In this second life, Yun Che found the Heavenly Poison Pearl, another primordial treasure that once belonged to the Evil God and was created when the Ancestral Goddess died along with six other primordial treasures. In this life, Yun Che died after attempting to avenge his murdered master.

Now, Yun Che had been reborn in his third life, in the body of his first life, right at the moment when he was killed by being poisoned.

He brought with him all his knowledge of the divine healing technique and half of the poison pearl, a celestial treasure that allowed the elimination of any poison and refining of any pill with one hundred percent effectiveness. It was one of the most powerful treasures at his disposal. Additionally, it was a spatial artifact that could conceal anything and was connected to his body. It also allowed him to locate medicinal treasures.

Thus, even though Yun Che was crippled, he still possessed a power that surpassed any other existence in this universe. However, his physical power was limited, and as Yun Che didn't know with whom he could deal without being robbed or enslaved, he couldn't use his power at will. But Xion was different; he knew whom to deal with to obtain resources and negotiate for his skills as a divine doctor.

Xion dressed and ignored the envy-driven hatred of his adoptive family who had tried to kill him. He met with his adoptive grandfather, Xiao Lie, the reason they had chosen to poison him instead of killing him directly. Xiao Lie was the father of Xiao Lingxi and the adoptive father of Yun Che, Xiao Ying.

Xiao Lie, a fifty-five-year-old man, bore the appearance of an elder with white hair and beard due to the tragedies he had experienced in his life, like everyone in this world. His son was murdered without him knowing who killed him or why. His wife died due to the birth of Xiao Lingxi, the reincarnation of the Ancestral Goddess. Moreover, he was forced to raise a stranger, Yun Che, while his true grandson, Xiao Che, was with strangers. Among all these tragedies, the only hope Yun Che could give him was that someday he would return his grandson to him.

Xion didn't feel comfortable with this situation and didn't speak much with the old man as he escorted him to his future wife's house, protecting him from clan members who wished to get rid of him. The old man was a cultivator in the profound realm of the earth and was in his later stages. Thanks to him, a cripple like Yun Che could move freely around the clan, at least until the day of his wedding with the most beautiful beauty in this creation, or so it was said in the original story. Xion still had to check if it was true.

Xion, along with his grandfather, boarded a carriage and set out to find his future wife. In this Chinese-style wedding ritual, the groom went to the bride's house and brought her to live with his family or clan, meaning she now became part of his family, being the sister of his brothers and the daughter of his parents.

During this process, Xion could only blink, as his bride was covered from head to toe, even her face was veiled. After the ceremony and receiving recognition from their respective families and congratulations from their relatives, they were now in their room, and he had not yet seen his wife's face, who wore a red silk dress, as white was not part of the attire in this ceremony, as it was associated with funerals.

Xion grimaced but said nothing in the face of his wife's apparent repulsion, as he knew her character. Although her morals and intelligence were thrown away in the original story, at this moment, she remained a pure and firm character, not a self-centered person. From her perspective, she was only fulfilling this marriage to honor her father and mother, and he didn't want to bother her for that. He also had things to do, and since she said nothing, neither did he. He simply sat in a corner with crossed legs while she took possession of the bed. From the tension in her body, it was evident that she didn't want him nearby.

Xia Qingyue looked at him for several seconds as he stayed in his corner, not looking at her or uttering a word. Xion paid no attention and just stayed there for a while. He then left the room and sneaked away towards the mountains, as another crucial event for him was set to happen there.

Finding the location of this event was an easy task, as Xion already knew the signal beacon that would guide him. Barely glancing at the distant mountain, he saw a natural treasure gleaming: an herb that, if refined using the Heavenly Poison Pearl, would grant him pills making him invisible.

With the poison pearl in his possession, Xion reached the treasure without any obstacles, but this was only a clue. He hurried to search the surroundings for the real encounter with his destiny…

Xion searched for only a minute before spotting a girl in the darkness. He ran towards her as she lay on the grass. She was slender, with long scarlet hair and pale skin. She seemed to be a teenager around thirteen and was unconscious, at least seemingly.

This was Jasmine, another tragic figure. Jasmine was one of the star gods, meaning she was the heir to one of the divine legacies in the realm of the gods. Her appearance was not false, as she was genuinely young despite possessing the power of a goddess. This power was an inheritance from the true gods who had lived a million years ago.

Jasmine had been seeking power to avenge her own father, who wanted to use her and her sister in a dark ritual to ascend as a true god. She also sought revenge for her brother's death and to protect her younger sister. In her quest for power, she found the Inheritance of a god known as the Evil God but was also poisoned by a lethal toxin. That's why she had come there, seeking the Heavenly Poison Pearl to cure herself.

Xion, who already knew this story, activated the pearl and held it in his hand. Jasmine, who wasn't unconscious but resisting death and conserving strength, felt the presence of the pearl she sought and hastily opened her eyes. She bit Xion's hand and started drinking his blood. Xion didn't pull away because he knew this was a blood pact that would bind their souls, as her divine body had no salvation, and her soul barely resisted.

Once she finished drinking his blood, and Xion assumed the contract was complete, their gazes met for a few seconds. Although Jasmine had the body of a teenager, Xion had never seen such beautiful eyes in his entire life. The moment of their encounter turned into an eternity until Jasmine's body turned to dust, breaking the moment.

Xion hurriedly looked into the space inside the Heavenly Poison Pearl, and there floated Jasmine's naked soul. He decided to look away quickly; the pact was done. He would return with a sheet to cover her later. He wasn't the lascivious type of the original protagonist, whose behavior of forcing women always disgusted him. He got up and left the place, hurrying back to his room.

So, an hour after his departure, Xion stealthily reentered his room. Xia Qingyue was still sitting on the bed with the veil on. Xion grimaced at seeing her; there was no doubt why she considered herself so modest. Xion sighed.

"Wife, come closer, we need to talk," Xion said, walking to the center of the room and sitting on his knees on a rug. Xia Qingyue tensed; Xion knew it was because he had called her wife, but that was not accidental; he wanted her to get used to the idea that they were married.

"I'll sleep here; you sleep over there," Xia Qingyue declared, refusing to speak, believing he would only utter nonsense. At that moment, she was a cultivator of the Spiritual Profound Realm, a step away from reaching the Earth Profound Realm. Her perspective was far above that of a cripple.

"Wife, I don't plan on discussing our married life. I know you've only accepted this marriage to honor your parents, and it's evident you don't want me in your bed. If you don't remove that veil, I'll start to think you're disgusted by me. But I'm not trying to argue about that. Simply, now that you're my wife, I must share with you some important matters for both of us," Xion said, gesturing for her to sit across from him.

Xia Qingyue tensed and seemed to have doubts, but after ten seconds, she stood up and determinedly sat in front of him. Xion nodded, and to his surprise, Xia Qingyue removed the veil.

Xion openly observed her face. She was truly beautiful, with creamy and pale skin, straight black hair like ink, and light iris eyes. It was the most beautiful face he had seen in his life until an hour ago, but now he had seen an even more beautiful face, not because of her features, but because of her eyes. Jasmine's eyes made her face a thousand times more beautiful than this girl's. Of course, maybe it was a matter of personal taste, but those red eyes were truly beautiful.

"Wife, you possess the beauty of a goddess," Xion sincerely praised.

"Xiao Che…" Xion raised his hand.

"My name is not Xiao Che; it's Yun Che, but I've decided to call myself Xion. The real Xiao Che is on another continent across this planet and is the adopted son of my real parents," Xion explained. Then he raised his hand again. "Calm down; I'm the one your father promised you to, as I've been here since my birth," Xion explained before Xia Qingyue could make unnecessary fuss. Xia Qingyue frowned.

"That's unbelievable," she said with a cold tone.

"My grandfather will confirm it later, but you shouldn't mention it because powerful people are involved, and I'll die if they find out about my origin. You will die too; the Xiao clan will be exterminated, and your backing, Frozen Cloud Asgard, will be erased from existence," Xion warned. Xia Qingyue couldn't hide her surprise. "Yes, I know which sect you belong to, and I even know your current cultivation level. I know more about you, but I can't tell you because that could put you in greater danger. I'm only informing you of this because keeping you ignorant of it could cause some disaster if not careful.

"Now, look at this," Xion said, taking out three herbs that were the treasures he had collected earlier.

Xia Qingyue opened her eyes wide, not because of the herbs but because he took them from the Heavenly Poison Pearl. Xion nodded and raised the palm of his hand.

"This is one of the reasons those terrifying people are after me. This is called the Heavenly Poison Pearl, and it's a unique treasure. This pearl can purify poisons and can also refine ingredients and medicinal herbs with one hundred percent certainty, preserving all their medicinal properties," Xion said, giving a demonstration by refining the three invisibility herbs in front of her and turning them into pills.

Xia Qingyue still looked surprised, but Xion had much more to tell her, so he continued speaking after offering her one of the three pills he had refined.

"This pearl will make you invisible, completely concealing your aura and figure. It provides absolute invisibility and is a lifesaver. Keep it; I'll store these other two," Xion said, storing the two pills he had left for himself in the Heavenly Poison Pearl. Xia Qingyue automatically took hers, still in a state of shock. "Alright, to conclude, I'm not a useless cripple. I keep myself this way by choice to avoid drawing attention, but I am a divine doctor, and in this world, there is no person with more medical knowledge and skills than me. Therefore, I can also heal myself whenever I wish, as long as I have the right materials, which I already possess. It's just not the right time to do so.

"Now, with all I've told you, and once your surprise subsides, I believe you'll understand why I'm telling you all this, as you seem like an intelligent person," Xion concluded and, without saying more, fell silent while Xia Qingyue processed everything he had said.

"You need to go to a hidden place, and you want me to take you to my sect," Xia Qingyue deduced, a minute after recovering from her surprise. Xion nodded. "We don't recruit men," she added.

"And I don't want to be recruited; that would attract too much attention. I just want to be accepted as a servant because my wife is there. Of course, this won't be free, as with my help, I guarantee that within a year, all the cultivators in your sect in the Spiritual Profound Realm will advance to Emperor, and in ten years, it will become one of the major powers on this continent," Xion offered. Xia Qingyue looked at him with doubts.

"I can prove it. If you have any way to contact your superior, do it. Tomorrow night, I'll prepare everything necessary. Now you can go to sleep," Xion said, standing up, and, under Xia Qingyue's gaze, he approached the bed and took a sheet, which he stored in the Heavenly Poison Pearl and then threw it over Jasmine. Then he returned to his corner, sat on the wooden floor, and tried to sleep. It had been a long and exhausting day for him, who had no cultivation and had a weakened body.

"Why do you trust me?" Xia Qingyue, who was still sitting on the floor, asked.

"Wife, you seem arrogant, cold, and indifferent, but that's just appearance. You are a kind person, but above all, you respect your parents, and I know you won't harm me for their sake.

"Moreover, your morality is not very strong, and you seem like someone who practices the end justifies the means. I don't know if you've noticed, but I hope that when you do, you remember that I prefer to follow my own path and don't try to help me. And if at any time I don't explicitly request your help, it's because I don't need it," Xion warned, as what Xia Qingyue did in the original story was one of the most repugnant things he had read in his previous life. Yun Che was a complete idiot, and it was Xia Qingyue's duty to help him, but the way she did it was atrocious.

"You've misunderstood me, and please, don't call me wife," Xia Qingyue said in a cold tone. She disagreed with his assessment of her.

"Goodnight, wife," Xion said, ignoring her. She stood up and went to her bed. The light was also turned off.

Xion rested in his corner. Getting used to being a mortal again after his time in the Stargate world was not a problem. What bothered him was not being able to access technology. If he had bio-nanites at his disposal, he wouldn't have to work so hard. However, between saving his own cells and saving the bio-nanites, it was clear which ones would be more useful in the future. His cells, once reproduced, would grant him access to his innate abilities, and that would put this world at his feet.

On the other hand, bio-nanites were also a thing from another universe and needed to be forcefully adapted, a force he lacked, rendering them useless. Furthermore, in this world, there were bloodlines he could absorb to enhance his body, and bio-nanites weren't very necessary. As for his divine cells, once he reached sufficient power, things would be easy for him. Xion calculated that, with the reality of this world not opposing pressure on them, reaching the power of a divine master would be more than enough. According to what he had read in this world, a peak divine master, using all their power, could destroy a planet in this world, turning it into dust. Additionally, it should be noted that a planet in this world was dozens of times larger than those in the Stargate universe, so it should be sufficient energy for his divine cells.

The next day, Xia Qingyue went to the dining hall with him. Their adoptive grandfather and Xiao Lingxi were waiting for them there. Xiao Lingxi blushed upon seeing him, and Xion smiled, causing her to lower her head.

"Grandfather, good morning," Xion greeted as he pulled out a chair for Xia Qingyue, who, despite her cold expression, accepted the gesture without complaining. His grandfather smiled happily, seeing that they got along well.

After eating, Xion went to the family's warehouse and took out acupuncture needles and various materials he would need when Xia Qingyue's master appeared. He stored them in the Heavenly Poison Pearl. Jasmine still showed no signs of waking up. Xion knew how to accelerate the poison's decomposition, but for now, he wouldn't use that method, as it would leave him too exhausted to give the demonstration in front of Xia Qingyue and her master.

Mid-morning, Xiao Lingxi ventured into the warehouse to see what he was doing. Xion pulled her inside and closed the door to give her another relaxing massage, this time for half an hour. After finishing, Xiao Lingxi came out of the warehouse trembling. She was of short stature and not a stunning beauty or otherworldly like Jasmine, but by no means was she ugly or anything. She was only a few points below Jasmine and Xia Qingyue.

Xion wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice himself to keep the little northern goddess satisfied. In the afternoon, she approached him with a determined expression, even looking serious and ready to reprimand him. However, Xion didn't let her speak and started massaging her in a corner, leading to another shaky exit from the northern goddess after half an hour.

In the evening, Xion returned to his room and found a woman next to Xia Qingyue. She wore a white dress with an oriental design, seemed to be between twenty and thirty years old, with black hair and jade-like skin. She was Xia Qingyue's master and one of the seven fairies of the Frozen Cloud Asgard sect. The fairy-like appearance of these women was due to their cultivation technique.

"Xion, this is my master, Chu Yueli. I have already informed her that you want to give her a demonstration and that you have a proposal to make afterward," Xia Qingyue said as he closed the door to his room.

Xion nodded and pointed to the carpet in the center for them to sit. As he approached, Chu Yueli sighed in annoyance, indicating that she was only there for Xia Qingyue and considered him trash. That meant Xia Qingyue had proven trustworthy and hadn't mentioned anything about him. Chu Yueli looked at him with disdain when he sat down and refused to accompany him, so Xion raised his hand before Xia Qingyue sat down.

"Wife, it seems that arguing with words is futile. This young cultivator is too arrogant and won't listen to anything. Please sit with your back to me. I will start my demonstration now," Xion said. Chu Yueli clenched her fists, but Xia Qingyue hurriedly bowed.

"Master, please don't be upset. I assure you that your skills will be beneficial to the sect," said Xia Qingyue. Chu Yueli swallowed her anger, seeing how serious Xia Qingyue was.

"Xion, the master looks young…" Xion raised his hand.

"Spirit Profound Realm, intermediate rank. A little frog, not worth considering. Her natural talent is also average, and she'll barely reach the Emperor Realm without my help," said Xion with a gesture for her to sit and stop trying to explain nonsense.

Chu Yueli tensed, but he had said too many things, including not considering her cultivation, which was already at its peak in the Blue Wind Nation where they were, as something to be taken into account. Therefore, she gritted her teeth and didn't reprimand him, looking at him as if she awaited his failure to break some bones.

"What do you intend to do with my apprentice?" asked Chu Yueli.

"Use my divine medical skills to open all her profound points and turn her profound veins into the mythical divine profound veins, which will increase her already outstanding cultivation talent to something prodigious," explained Xion, as Xia Qingyue had not yet sat down.

"That's impossible!" declared Chu Yueli. Xion just looked at Xia Qingyue.

"Wife, I told you before, I am a doctor with divine abilities. But if you don't trust my word, I promise you that if this treatment harms you in any way, you can take my life as retaliation," said Xion, to avoid useless chatter, as he took out the tools and medicines he had prepared during the day, taking them from the Celestial Poison Pearl, which startled Chu Yueli since she saw no spatial ring and didn't know where he was getting things.

"It's an artifact I inherited; please, ignore it," said Xion, refusing to give her explanations. At his words, Xia Qingyue sat with her back to him.

"Wife, if you remove your clothes and leave your back exposed, I can perform this treatment without making mistakes. However, if you decide to keep your clothes on, you may feel some pricks in the wrong places. The only consequence will be a little pain," explained Xion.

"It doesn't matter," Xia Qingyue hastened to say. Xion nodded. He wasn't like the pervert Yun Che, whose medical practices left much to be desired.

Without hesitation, Xion began the treatment after preparing everything. He had some difficulties due to his low profound strength, making the treatment last for three hours. When he finished, he was pale and sweating.

"Done, you can check her condition," said Xion calmly.

"Xia Qingyue, please circulate your profound energy," said Chu Yueli with annoyance. She wasn't happy with the waiting time.

Xia Qingyue had also been startled more than once when he failed in his goals. Xia Qingyue nodded to indicate she was already doing it, and Chu Yueli took her pulse to feel the flow of energy. A second later, the master was shocked and paralyzed. It took several seconds for her to partially recover and look at him in amazement.

"Yes, I can do this for your entire sect, as long as you provide me with accommodation, cultivation resources, and, in general, treat me as an honored guest. Additionally, I don't want this information to be disclosed, and you must declare that you only bring me as a servant because I am Xia Qingyue's husband," explained Xion. Chu Yueli hurried to bow.

"Divine Doctor, please, you and your admirable master, accept my humblest apologies for doubting your word," said Chu Yueli.

"You're too formal; I can't be at odds with my wife's master," said Xion, and Xia Qingyue, who had already turned around, looked at him threateningly.

"Wife, your threatening look has no effect on me. I already know you wouldn't dare to hit me knowing I'm crippled," said Xion with a smile. Xia Qingyue blinked.

"Can you really heal yourself?" asked Xia Qingyue, who, by her master's reaction, understood that Xion's abilities were not ordinary.

"Of course, but I don't want to draw attention in this place. I must also ask you to leave here no later than tomorrow, as they attempted to assassinate me on my wedding day, and I don't want to waste time dealing with these insignificant individuals and causing trouble for the old man who has suffered enough because of me," explained Xion. Chu Yueli and Xia Qingyue looked at him in surprise.

"Who were they?" asked Chu Yueli with a murderous tone.

"A couple of brats who used poison because my grandfather is strong, and they don't dare to face me directly. Fortunately, the poison has no effect on me. However, if I stay in this place, I'll only cause trouble for the old man, and he has already suffered enough because of me," explained Xion. Chu Yueli gritted her teeth, and her attitude toward him made a 180-degree turn, now looking like a fierce protector.

"We'll leave tomorrow then," declared Chu Yueli. Xion nodded.

"Please, can you inform my grandfather that I wish to see him in secret?" requested Xion. Chu Yueli nodded and hurried out.

"Wife, I've assessed your health. Your cultivation technique has been causing you physical discomfort, and your body has been accumulating coldness. When we reach your sect and you rest there, I'll treat it for you. If you continue like this, it might be dangerous, and we could have difficulties having offspring in the future," said Xion.

Xia Qingyue startled, and Xion couldn't help but smile, understanding why Yun Che couldn't help but tease this ice-cold girl. Xia Qingyue looked at him furiously but didn't hit him because he was crippled.

His grandfather arrived ten minutes later, along with Chu Yueli and Xiao Lingxi. Xion, who was waiting two meters from the door, sat on the wooden floor. His grandfather understood the seriousness of the matter and sat in front of him. Chu Yueli, Xia Qingyue, and Xiao Lingxi stepped aside and stood by the bed.

When Xiao Lie sat in front of him, Xion lowered his head and slammed it against the wooden floor with force, breaking it along with his forehead, making it bleed. His grandfather and the two women looked at him in shock.

"Grandfather, I've recently become aware of the suffering you've endured because of me, someone who doesn't even share your blood. Grandfather, I will now leave this city, but I, who have decided to call myself Xion, promise to bring your true grandson before you within no more than five years.

"Please, leave this clan that doesn't respect you, go far from here along with the little aunt, as I fear for her safety if they stay in this place. I don't want to have to take revenge on your family if something happens to them," said Xion sincerely, while his blood spilled on the floor. He felt a great debt to this old man, as he had taken the body he considered his grandson.

Xiao Lie quickly stood up and lifted Xion's head from the floor.

"Xiao Che, I've always considered you my grandson," replied the old man as he lifted him, placing his hands on Xion's shoulders and looking into his eyes.

"I know," said Xion with a sad smile. "Grandfather, I will try not to disappoint your trust in the future," Xion assured, when a small glimpse of a memory passed through his mind. He had made a promise to his father, but he didn't know what it was.

"You never have," declared the old man, with some tears in his eyes.

NA 1: Xion's journey continues, this time in the universe of ATG, a cultivation world. For those familiar with this type of story, you'll know that their MCs go beyond the concept of OP; they are unique existences in their universes, and nothing comes close to matching them. The existence is at the mercy of the MC's will. The only way authors deal with these stories is by turning their MCs into half-brained characters or nerfing them by dividing their power into scales.

These cultivation worlds aren't there for reflection but are light-hearted stories to turn off your brain and enjoy. If you want to read these stories, I recommend starting with the best ones because after reading a few, you'll feel like you've read them all.

Among my recommendations that I've read are: Coiling Dragon, TDG, MGA, ATG, Martial World, Battle Through the Heavens, Release that Witch, Super God Gene, Monster Paradise, My House of Horrors, Emperor's Domination, God and Devil World, Solo Leveling, A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, Gate of Revelation, Heavenly Jewel Change, Worlds' Apocalypse Online, Womanizing Mage, Realms In The Firmament, Perfect World, Overgeared, I Have a Mansion in the Post-apocalyptic World, The Second Coming of Gluttony, Warlock of the Magus World, I Shall Seal the Heavens, City of Sin…

NA 2: Lol, I hadn't realized how many of these stories I've read until I started jotting down names, and there are still many more to go. Some of them aren't cultivation stories but are of the same type.
