Start of Ranking Tournament

People from Heavenly Sword Villa looked with utter disbelief at the horizon, something big was moving towards them.

Even though they know what this is, they still are in disbelief.

This was a moving Sect! A sect that can go anywhere!

"They should be here in a few minutes."

"Yeah. We should inform the Villa Master."

Just as the guards said a few minutes later, the Floating Cloud Sect arrived, and the three floating islands were like an archipelago parked just outside the perimeter of the city.

Their arrival was quite early, which means they have a few days to spare before the event will be held.

In the meantime, Xiao Long and Cang Yue flew back to Blue Wind Imperial City, which is extremely close to their current location.

They need to pick their third participant, Fen Juechen, after all, the young Master wants some family drama, otherwise, the tournament will be utterly boring.

With their Monarch speeds the pair swiftly arrived at the Capital.

"Can I visit the Royal Father?"

"Shouldn't your Royal Father attend the tournament as well?" Xiao Long asked curiously.

"Y-You are right! I completely forgot! The last few times it was me who would attend it!" For a second she looked extremely embarrassed before swiftly proceeding to descend into the royal palace's one of the gardens.

The Young Master swiftly followed after her as the pair the moment landed proceeded to walk into the Palace interior.

"P-Princess!" The guards paled when they sensed the huge amount of pressure their cultivation had. It was as if she was Monarch or something which they are not wrong, she was [First of Sovereign Profound].

"At ease, where is the Royal Father?" Cang Yue motioned to relax and then asked her a question.

"At the Throne Room, he is holding a court." 

"I see. My thanks. Let's go!" 

The Princess grabbed Xiao Long's hand and proceeded to lead him toward the Throne Room.

As they arrived there they could hear conversations.

"Let him finish all of this, then we can ask if he wants to come with us." Cang Yue whispered to him, as she decided to snuggle into him while she just listened to what the people were talking about.

"As I said before! The lands on the East side of the river belong to my Ming family!"

"Hah! You rented it out years ago to my family!"

'Is this classic border dispute with families within the Empire? I should have brought some popcorn.

They usually have some drama and some story behind it.' 

Sadly it only lasted for a few minutes as the Emperor was prepared.

After dismissing a pair of grumpy people, there were a couple more issues before everyone was dismissed.

Though Xiao Long and Cang Yue didn't leave, the pair stayed and walked over to the throne.

"Yue'er! You are back."

"Yes, Royal Father, we are here to pick you up for the Tournament or you are not going?"

"Hmm, we could go, we assume this time it will be different from a few last times?" 

Cang Wanhe is implying that he has no interest in attending if his family is going to get roasted.

With representatives who are barely at [Spirit Profound], they would be eliminated at extremely early stages. 

"Very, Royal Father, we have two representatives at [Earth Profound] and Fen Juechen who will be fighting for us. We should reach late if we don't win the whole thing." Cang Yue said with a confident tone.

"We see. Then we shall be going with you."

"Great, then Yue'er I am going to pick up Fen Juechen while you can show your father the Floating Cloud Sect."

"Yes, I will do that."

A moment later Xiao Long disappeared with his Monarch speed. 

The moment he was gone, Cang Wanhe had a knowing smile on his face.

"W-What?"

"Yue'er is quite close to the Young Master." 

"Y-Yes, h-h-he asked if I could be his wife." Cang Yue said that with a stuttering voice.

"Fantastic news Yue'er! We can arrange a wedding after the tournament!"

"I-I-I could suggest this to him."

"Do it, it would be the best opportunity."

Cang Wanhe could see it becoming a large thing, not only they would most likely win the tournament, but a wedding a few days after winning would be even better!

While the royals are talking about the wedding and the tournament Xiao Long flew over to the Blue Wind Profound Palace.

He descended to the core area where he quickly found one of the elders.

Things quickly got arranged and Fen Juechen was standing in front of the Young Master in just a few short minutes.

A small smile appeared on the Young Master's face.

"[Third of Earth Profound] not bad."

"It's all thanks to Young Master's pills." The Young Master of Heaven Burning Clan respectfully said to him.

"Indeed. If you can help the Princess Family win the whole thing then you will get more pills." Xiao Long said with a small smile.

"Of course, this is why I am part of the Blue Wind Profound Palace." Pointing at the robes he was wearing, those were blue, not red. Showing his allegiance.

"Good to hear."

A few days later people proceeded to arrive at the Heavenly Sword Villa. Many are wondering how things will be adjusted after Xiao Sect and Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace are not part of the Fourth Major Sects of Blue Wind Empire.

There are two spots for them, so everyone is starting to get giddy.

Though the floating land masses next to the city reminded them that Floating Cloud Sect exists. 

But will they be part of just the Blue Wind Empire? They can move anywhere they want! It doesn't make sense, so they don't think they will need to worry about them.

They are maybe here to watch the tournament. This was the positive mentality everyone had here.

Completely disregarding that they could be helping another Clan or Sect.

Then they saw people descend from the floating island.

When the guards saw a group of people, they saw one of them dressed in blue royal clothes.

'Blue Wind Emperor!'

The moment the group landed on the ground, Princess Cang Yue handed over the invitation.

The shaky guards picked it. They realised that their Villa might not be the top powerhouse anymore!

"We are here for the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament, representing the Blue Wind Imperial Family.." The Princess said with etiquette and proper tone that of the Princess.

"U-Understood."

The guard picked up and started to read the list.

'Princess Cang Yue, the Blue Wind Emperor, the Young Master Xiao… Chu Yuechan!? E-Even Princess of Phoenix Empire?' The guards paled when they read the list.

The amount of people who are going to watch this is absurd. The guard doesn't know if they should notify the Villa Master about Chu Yuechan.

"Y-You are good to go." The guards handed over the scroll back to the Princess.

"My thanks." She thanked them, and the group proceeded to walk past them.

The pair of guards could feel the sheer pressure from their cultivation all of these had.

Even the Emperor of the Blue Wind Empire for some reason was extremely powerful! 

As the group progressed deeper into the grounds, they eventually arrived at the place where the greetings were being held.

"Your Majesty, it's a pleasant surprise, I didn't expect you to come to see this tournament so quickly after your recovery."

"We are fine Villa Master Ling, Our Daughter's Sect has many means to heal us." Cang Wanhe motioned at his daughter.

Cang Yue did a curtsy bow.

"Floating Cloud Sect has many pills and means to heal, as well as advance in cultivation."

Ling Yuefeng, the Villa Master stiffly nodded as he sensed everyone's cultivation, it was way beyond his. Even the Princess and Emperor were stronger than him!

This made him realise that his Heavenly Sword Villa will be in decline as the Blue Wind Royal Family doesn't even need them anymore.

His eyes eventually ended up on the man standing next to Cang Yue.

"I understand, and you must be Xiao Long, the Young Master of Floating Cloud City and rumoured Young Master of Supreme Ocean Palace."

"Indeed. My thanks for allowing us to attend this event." 

'As if I have any sort of choice.' Ling Yuefeng snorted to himself, if he wants to attend then he can attend. Vila Master didn't even realise that this Young Master would attend such an event! He would have invited him in person! 

The Villa Master didn't even realise but his sons indeed said that Xiao Long will most likely attend the event. But at that time he was already brooding about Chu Yuechan's situation.

"It is an honour that you are attending such an event! Never before has a Young Master of a Sacred Ground attended the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament!"

As the pair were exchanging pleasantries Villa Mistress' eyes gleamed as she saw the male specimen in front of her.

She was preparing for this event for months now, and she was not disappointed, tall, broad shoulders, incredibly powerful and those blue eyes feel like they are going to suck her in.

While Xuanyuan Yufeng was checking out the Young Master, Villa Master was trying to find Chu Yuechan.

It took him a while but he eventually found her… after all half of the women who are travelling with this group have veils.

And his mentality cannot see her anywhere close to a male. Yet, here she was, just behind Xiao Long.

"!!!"

"Husband, I will take these to the place where they will be staying by myself. You can continue to greet the guests."

Xuanyuan Yufeng said with finality in her voice, as she took a few steps forward.

"Esteemed Guests please follow me."

"Is it just me, but is Villa Mistress interested in Master Long?" Cang Yue asked Xia Qingyue. The Princess could see how the Villa Mistress was next to Xiao Long, the Xuanyuan woman was explaining a few things specifically to him.

"She is, and I can sense a conspiracy here."

"Mighty Heavenly Sword Region has been reduced to a husk. They most likely tried to get him on board so that he could help them recover." Chu Yuechan said with a sneer.

Trying to use a used woman to seduce her beloved Master? That's just pathetic. At least bring some Young Maidens from the Sword Region!

"Possible, though this is a pathetic try, there is a reason why the husband has a harem. Does she think she can accomplish something on her own?" Xia Qingyue said with a frown. 

Her words made Cang Yue blush from embarrassment. She remembered how she tried to do it alone, the same with Chu Yuechan and the other girls who were with them.

Except Feng Xue'er who has no idea what they are talking about.

Though Xia Qingyue herself is not different over the time she was married to him she would have Xia Dongling close to herself.

Yet, she never got the maid to join to help her reduce the stress.

She still tries to find ways to defeat him herself, her pride won't allow anything less.

Though now she wants to see how this 'Mistress' will handle her Husband. She can't wait to see her pass out in a sea of her husband's seed.

Maybe it will even break her? Possible.

"What are you planning to do?" Cang Yue asked her future sister.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Yes, nothing, I won't be going to save her. I don't even know her, there is no reason for me to intervene." Xia Qingyue said with a frown.

"But—" Chu Yuechan frowned for a second.

"You think she can ensnare him?" 

"...No, part of me simply doesn't want him to be close to her."

"I understand. But when you have a curious animal it needs to be punished for doing something bad."

"Indeed, you are right. Fine, but I won't allow this woman to get more time than necessary." Chu Yuechan said with a deep frown. She doesn't want that Oaf to stare at her, so she will be snuggling with her beloved Man, letting him watch in jealousy if he wants to stare at her.

"That's something we can agree on."

I was somewhat confused with Xuanyuan Yufeng. My knowledge about her comes from the novel. And she is different from her book counterpart.

In the novel, she was jealous that her husband was staring at Chu Yuechan. So she wanted to deal with the fairy.

However, this one is different, she wants me and from the looks of it, Ling Yufeng is oblivious that his wife is horny after me.

Yes, her lust is quite obvious, the woman has been almost using suggestive words and she is quite bold right in front of my wife and Fiances.

"This is where you will be staying. This time around we won't be holding any sort of banquets. It's to keep the competition as fair as possible." Xuanyuan Yufeng said with a small smile. 

"It's fine. We are here for the tournament anyway."

"Yes. Until next time, Young Master Xiao." The woman smiled at me before walking away.

Once she was away Qingyue and Princess walked over, followed by Chu Yuechan and Feng Xue'er. 

"That woman will be trying something."

"Do you think she has a hunch that it was you who nearly destroyed the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region?" Cang Yue asked me, she wasn't that certain that the woman is simply lusting after me.

Poor Princess, she has no idea what these women from Sacred Grounds can do. The more power you give them the crazier they can become.

Mu Xuanyin, Chi Wuyao, and Qianye Ying'er are all of them at the peak of the universe and they all are unhinged in their ways.

"No, it's nothing complex, like that. She is just extremely spicy and wants to get back at her husband."

As I said that, I pulled Chu Yuechan into my hands.

"She is annoyed that you have ensnared her husband's heart," I said with a teasing tone as my hands squeezed her rear.

"A-As if I care! It's not my fault he is a baboon who can't get over something!"

I smirked for a second before proceeding to walk towards the extra large manor prepared for us. Not that this matters, we can always just fly into the sect and stay there.

Though we should follow the 'rules' and let Ling Yuefeng experience what happened to his 'beloved' fairy and his wife.

I am extremely certain she will be coming to see me again or will be inviting me to her house.

"Yes-Yes, now let's go and explore the manor."

The girls nodded though I didn't remove my hands from the Frozen Beauty. 

~~~~~~Next Morning~~~~~~

Everyone has gathered for the opening ceremony of the tournament.

Like always the first part is a dick measurement competition, showing off Cultivation and the age of the participants.

"It appears the Heavenly Sword Villa is enjoying some of the benefits my Sect provides," I said to my ladies.

"They had my family's support for generations. The wealth they have collected was enough to buy loads of Floating Cloud Sect pills." Cang Yue said to me as she was snuggling into my hand.

On my other hand was Chu Yuechan, the beauty had a smug aura around her as she knew Ling Yuefeng was looking at her.

"I can sense they have several Thrones, and a multitude of late [Sky Profound]." Chu Yuechan said as she sensed the surroundings.

"Yes. Not that this means much." 

"It does not. they don't have Array Masters who will fight for them." Cang Yue said with a smug tone as well. Her gaze went to the side.

I followed her gaze as well. It was at Heaven Burning Clan camp. The Young Master of the clan was looking at her.

At that moment Cang Yue got even closer to me. She gently kissed my cheek.

This made Fen Juecheng's gaze darker for a short few moments.

"Naughty Princess."

"I am simply showing my appreciation to my future husband, I don't see any reason why you should think that I am naughty."

I simply shook my head and proceeded to watch the ceremony.

I quickly noticed that the overall cultivation of people is slightly higher than I remember in the novel.

Many of them were late or Peak [Spirit Profound]. They do cultivate faster because of the large use of Sensory pills. But the bottlenecks are still an issue for everyone.

"Impressive, even minor Sects have much higher cultivation than I thought," I commented casually.

"The cheaper version of Sensory pills is widely available for everyone, but only major sects have the improved versions." The one who answered my question was the Emperor himself who was sitting not far from my location.

"We have been trying to adjust to the changes your products have caused, the overall strength of our Blue Wind Empire has increased by two to three minor realms."

'The bottlenecks are still the biggest of the issues of them all.'

"I see."

Soon after that, it was Heaven Burning Clan's turn. The strongest of them had the cultivation of [First of Earth Profound].

This was the first shock of the day, I can hear everyone whispering about this.

"Wait for our group." Cang Yue nearly gushed as she was waiting for her group to show their strength.

"It's amazing how they ignore us and only care about Fen Juechen's brother's strength," I whispered to Cang Yue.

"This is because they don't dare to think about us. Think of this like a selective hearing." 

"Hmm, makes sense."

Soon after it was Sword Villa's turn.

Ling Yun's cultivation was at [Fourth of Earth Profound], while his little brother was at [Eight of Spirit Profound] when he was only 16 years old.

"Impressive."

"Husband… why are you admiring their average cultivation?" Xia Qingyue asked me.

"Because I do admire their passion for basic cultivation, you do need that drive to keep on going like this."

I said with a shrug.
