22 Sky Profound Pill

High above Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace a woman dressed in white robes was observing what was happening in this Palace.

She had waist-long black hair, an impressive burst, and an extremely ethereal aura. She was closer to a Goddess than a mortal woman. 

Though her disposition and expression were nonchalant, almost as if nothing could disturb her mood. 

"So this is how it's going to pass, the prophecy…" She mumbled to herself, looking at the building for a bit more before sighing.

"I guess this is for the best. They found a proper purpose now. After saying that she flew away at an extremely fast speed. It's like she was not here in the first place.

As I opened my eyes the first thing I noticed was that It was not my array house, and I was sleeping on something extremely hard and cold. 

Felt like ice.

Though it didn't matter because the pair of bodies were hugging me from both sides.

'Right…my food was soo good that the twins decided to reward me…' 

I snorted to myself, how cute, innocent, and seductive they are at the same time. 

Not wanting to wake them up I instead decided to deal with this cold energy in my dantian. Suppressing it and not allowing it to flow out to the Profound veins starting to get annoying.

To fix this I started to refine this energy, this while takes longer, is the best way to stick with the neutral nature of my body. 

So I closed my eyes and proceeded to refine the Vital Yin I acquired from the pair.

Since both of them were mid [Sky Profound] the amount of Profound Energy I got is quite a bit. Enough to have a breakthrough to the next small realm.

After reaching [Seventh of Earth Profound] there was excess Profound Energy which went towards the next small realm. It was barely enough to reach the halfway point.

'The gaps are just getting bigger and bigger.'

As I thought about it I hugged the pair of cute fairies. Even though the bed was pure ice making Profound energy flow negates the discomfort.

After processing the Profound energy I was wondering what to do. Since I don't want to wake the pair up since this was just too good to hug them. 

'Hmm?'

When I opened my eyes I saw something curious.

I thought I would skip this since I refined the energy to pure Profound energy. No ice, none of that stuff.

But, this is quite good either way. I can expand on this to further improve Ice and in turn water understanding.

'Let's see how much the art progressed, or more precisely how much I inherited.'

Mentally I opened the Profound Arts window and checked the last entry.

"...Big Brother you up already?" One of the twins brought me back from my thoughts. I could feel her body form move as she slightly adjusted to lie half of her body on me. 

The cute fairy moved her head and looked at me.

"What do you want to do today? We still have some time~" The girl whispered hotly into my ear. She is still eager to go for more.

I smirked for a bit and checked another art…

The food party was probably the only sort of celebration Frozen Cloud has experienced. I am quite certain that the fairies are still reeling from all the emotions they experienced.

Because the outside was dead silent, more silent than it usually is. 

It appears all the fairies are cultivating or readjusting, the food was specially done, and my level went up for cooking that stuff.

Just for cooking 4 [Sky Profound] beasts I got 2 levels. This is not a bad pace. 

Though, more importantly, I have 4 cores. Time to purify them.

Since my Purifying flames have been maxed out I should find means to buff them up.

My thoughts wander toward Sky Poison Pearl and how that thing can do some intense purification instantaneously.

All I could think is that it should have another type of energy mixed with just purification one.

Though for now, I have no clue what it is. 

I could use an improved version of my sensory pill to pick more Profound energies. 

But for now, I have some other things to do.

I need to finish the arrays around the Contribution Palace. This way I will solidify the income of those Profound Energy soothing plants.

Once at the place, I went to work. Building a few more arrays.

The food event has spooked out the sheltered fairies. The food they tasted not only made their emotions go crazy but they experienced breakthroughs!

Yes! Breakthroughs! 

The meat was that of a [Sky Profound] beast! The Fairies who were in between [Nascent Profound] and [Spirit Profound] experienced imminent breakthroughs through the small realms. 

Some of them even went through 3 small realms! That was intense and it had petrified them. Because not only did they improve rapidly but it was not diligent cultivation or some sort of pills!

They were just eating delicious food!

Nothing made sense! So everyone retreated from that fear of the unknown!

While some of the more Proud Fairies ignored this event and now they were brooding behind closed doors. 

Not only were they hungry from that smell but they didn't get any breakthroughs! 

Especially Chu Yuechan who was a half-step Throne. If she was at this event she might have got that push and finally entered [Emperor Profound]!

This made her bite her lower lip and feel annoyed with the circumstances of this!

In the end, it was all that man's fault!

~~~~~~Back to Xiao Long~~~~~~

I looked at his finished work, the arrays were done! All the main grasses and herbs have their storage space. While I worked at the Contribution Palace the fairies worked on the gardens. They expanded the whole thing by half.

Such a large amount of gardens could support Frozen Cloud twice as large.

Though with such a large amount of herbs, I was thinking of selling pills using these materials. I am certain that I could make Navy Tide Nation very interested in some of the pills I could make with these herbs. 

After finishing the arrays, I continued and went to work with the four new cores.

My goal is to make [Sky Profound] pills. Maybe something like [Sky Profound] Ascension pill or something like that. Pills like those guarantee that one would reach the [Sky Profound] realm.

And with the Profound energy smoothing grass, such a thing is possible.

To start this I went over and collected some of the smoothing grass, then a massive ice bucket full of [Sky Profound] beast blood, and lastly the Desert Flower.

The process started with a Desert flower, I turned it into Liquid essence and then started to bond with smoothing grass which I turned into liquid essence via Water Alchemy. This was paying attention to two things, and extreme focus was needed. 

Eventually, the desert flower absorption essence was unable to absorb anymore, it was ready for final fusion with [Sky Profound Core].

Intense flames started to melt the Profound core. Slowly it started to lose its form and turned into a liquid form, then the fusion of the two started to happen. The amount of profound energy getting emitted by this was intense but this was not the end.

The blood of the beast was still there. So with a hand motion, I motioned for this blood to rise.

The third element started to be added to the mix.

This was even longer than the time I was making that blood pill from Ginseng and Tyrant Core. The reason was that I am stuffing this with Profound energy and making it mould into a single small pill.

*Phew*

"Done…." As I said, the pill had a thin glow of energy coming from it. It was like a core as it was emitting heat from the middle of it. After all, the amount of compression that was done here was intense.

"Young Master? This is where you have been the whole day?" Mu Lingxue's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm? Yes, I've been doing some alchemy."

"Oh… I see… I was wondering where this smell is coming from."

As she said that she looked around for a bit.

"it was smelling like blood and grass." 

"Yes. Look, these pills should technically allow one to reach [Sky Profound]." I showed her the Sky Profound pills I just made.

"...Is it from those four [Sky Profound] beasts that the elder has brought to you?"

"Yes. I wanted to test one of the grasses grown in the garden." 

"...Incredible."

"Yeah. Now I need to test it. Come over, you are just on time." I motioned to walk over.

The fairy was slightly shocked by what I said, but she followed my instructions and walked over. 

I handed over the pill to her.

"...How can such a small pill emit this much power?"

"I compressed all of the beast's blood, and refined it into pure energy alongside the Profound beast's core." 

"...oh…" 

"Now proceed."

She nodded and proceeded to swallow the pill. 

Unlike other pills because of how layered is this pill, it's not an instantaneous process. It's going to take a while for her to grow in Profound Strength.

Slowly her cultivation reached the halfway point towards [Sky Profound] it was growing but it was there.

And I continued to watch her progress.

Sixth…then seventh… eighth… ninth…and finally peak…

It has slowed down extremely… before entering into [First of Sky Profound]

Stopping at this cultivation.

'Perfect, this pill did just what I wanted. The layers of how the profound energy is released worked just like how I wanted.

None of the energy is wasted, it's added perfectly to her cultivation base.

If my hunch is right, this pill would work for everyone who is around [Spirit Profound] to [Earth Profound].'

Simply perfect, I should tell my grandfather and grandmother about this. They will be excited to know that the gap between Sacred Grounds is about to grow even more.

"Not bad… you went directly to [Sky Profound] it was a success."

"Y-Young Master…such a pill…"

"Shhh… it's fine. It's not like I am letting you go. You will come with me no matter where I go." 

The Fairy slowly nodded. Though I could see she was over the moon.

"Now why don't you show me that you can Float?"

"Un!"

The fairy got up on her feet and proceeded to show that she can fly!

Energy surrounded her and she got up from the ground.

"...Nice. It appears one has so much energy in his body that he can float because of it."

"...Yes… I think this is how it works." The fairy answered with a slightly excited nod as she proceeded to float even higher.

"Good. Lingxue you can go and stabilise your cultivation. I have some other things to do."

Time to see my wife…last time I saw her she passed out from food. I hope she is fine…

Lady Xiao had a panicky look on her face as she realised how messed up she was! The food was so godly that she stuffed herself with it. 

While the taste was godly, what she truly loved was the boost in cultivation each time she swallowed some of the meat.

So she stuffed herself with so much that she passed out. 

Now when she awoke she realised that her husband was gone. 

This was bad for her! Most likely one of the hungry fairies got to him. She should have eaten it with moderation!

So, the moment he returned the beauty ended up asking for forgiveness once again…

"It's fine. You like your cultivation, it's something I already know." 

While he said that with a shrug. Xia Qingyue felt like she was thrown into an extremely cold place! She still remembers that she promised to be THE perfect wife, and what she did do? She passed out from food! This is embarrassing and horrifying at the same time.

"B-But husband! I failed! I am supposed to be your wife! Yet, I was unable to be at your side!"

"Yue'er it's fine. Did you forget that Frozen Cloud sold itself for protection? They now working hard to keep me entertained."

"..."

The beauty bit her lower lip. She remembered what Sovereign of The Seas said to her. With his absurd talent, females would flock to his side.

The girl was sceptical at first as she had her pride, she thought she could take care of him fully… but she was wrong! The first thing they did when they left the Xiao Clan was get to a female-only sect and get full control of it! 

Xia Qingyue would rather not travel at all! Stay in Xiao Clan so that she could stay close to her husband and keep all those harpies away.

"Husband. Let Qingyue take care of you for the rest of the day. She needs to catch up with everything that is happening with her husband." The beauty smoothly got close to her husband. She started to use her beauty and assets to get his attention. 

"Sure. I want to see what my wife is up to."

"Of course~"

While Xia Qingyue is taking care of her husband. The Frozen Cloud is constantly getting shaken by something. This time it's Mu Lingxue and her advancement to [Sky Profound]. This got everyone by surprise!

The fairy is younger than the Feng Twins yet, she was already at such high cultivation.

This made Gong Yuxian consider giving her status as one of the Seven Fairies.

But she stopped herself and decided to wait a little bit more.

In the meantime, other fairies got interested in this. Such a boost in power shouldn't be simple.

Mu Lingxue opened her eyes as she sensed someone was outside her small ice house.

Slowly she got up from her ice bed and walked over to the door. When she opened the doors she saw one of the top fairies waiting for her.

"Disciple Lingxue greets Senior Master." 

"...Tell me what he do? What kind of pill did he give you to reach [Sky Profound] like this?"

One takes many years to pass [Earth Profound], where one spends 5 years in [Spirit Profound] one can spend from 10 to 15 years or even more in [Earth Profound] before reaching [Sky Profound].

So it's quite surprising how she skipped the longest realms like this. Saving years of her life, especially at such a young age.

"Reporting to Senior Master. Young Master used a pill to help me to reach this stage."

One of her eyebrows went up. 

"I see… so you are not telling me more…"

"...I belong to the Young Master. I won't tell anything in-depth, only basic knowledge."

"..."

After hearing that, the older fairy simply disappeared. 

Mu Lingxue took a deep breath. It was nerve-wracking to be stared at by the likes of Frozen Beauty.

'Is it just me… or the Senior Master… is jealous? I have never seen such a chaotic aura around Senior Master.'

One thing for sure is that something is happening to her Frozen Cloud. It's like the whole place is turning upside down. And the Palace Master and the Seven Fairies are not doing anything.

More like they don't know what to do. 

And Mu Lingxue doesn't know either. All she is doing is following what her Young Master is telling her. If he wants her to do something she will do it.

It's better this way. At least she won't be aimless like the Senior Master she just saw.

Chu Yuechan frowned as she returned to her home. Her eyebrows twitched from anger. This was utterly maddening for her.

She understood what was going on. 

Xiao Long is thinking of completely altering how Frozen Cloud is run. Instead of destroying it from the outside, he will destroy it from the inside. 

And he will do it without even having a single fight. 

He will make those fairies who swear to his rule the leaders of Frozen Cloud.

Making her and the current Seven Fairies useless in progress, surpassing In just a few short years.

'I need to tell the Mistress about this…' The Frozen Beauty thought with a frown. She can't allow that man to do whatever he wants.
