8 System Gifts

Erwin Linestone is currently exploring the Astroneer system and what he currently finds is a notification on the whole screen as he taps on the screen a box appears mid-air it drops to the floor he tries opening it but can't see pry it open until he sees a large red button glowing on the top of it, he then slapped his forehead and pressed the button when it opened like a present being unwrapped and various items are scattered around the floor.

Looking at the items on the floor there are some known in the system and some known back from Earth, now the item he first picked up is a locator or a 'Probe Scanner' seemingly more advanced than his current one and it counts as a widget to the auxiliary slot on his new backpack which seems to be the biggest item from the supposed "Gift" box which is the most useful out of the gift he currently knows, now than he currently checks the third item or items as he held it in his hands are five pieces of Nanocarbon Alloy which he is excited about as he could make both the 'Portable Oxygenator' and 'QT-RTG' which can be used for exploration at best but he didn't want to use them right away so he picked them up and stacked them on the floor.

The third item he spotted was a Black Technology Phone he knew that its because of the packaging which included the phone itself, a charger with an extendable wire which he didn't know how its able to extend endlessly, a power bank which he didn't need but will use anyway for emergencies, and a set of wireless headphones which he is fascinated about while the added items for the phone is great he is more concerned about the phone itself as when he turned them one there are several apps which he spotted but the one he is most interested in is a hacking app named 'Punklorde Hack smith' which explains the various hacking tools from a planet call Punklord/Punklorde which is this universes hacking nerds.

Now that he learned about the app other apps included were a calendar synced with the date of the express which on April 26, 2031, another is a clock which is the same as the calendar that syncs in with the time zone of the express which is currently 10:26 PM where he is supposed to sleep but prefer not to because of the gifts he is currently receiving now that he is finishing browsing through the common apps of the phone saving for that one app he turns off the phone and proceeds to check the next item.

The fourth item he currently has is the terrain tool from what he discovered in the system data bank is that this is the most used tool as a verified Astroneer which he is right now but he will not use it in the express as the he will do major damage in the express with everyone inside it so he will just put it away by minimizing it in the backpack.

Now the last item he picked up are two small canisters to store dirt and terraform the terrain its self but the two are currently empty Erwin proposes he should collect some dirt in the next planet the crews traversing through.

Now that Erwin finished up the items he was browsing through he decided to sleep as it was getting late and he needed the energy to share the express the items he currently has to he moved the items in his room covered it in a blanket and laid in bed thinking how is he going to explain the items he got and how he is gonna use them for the benefit of the express.

During his sleep, Erwin is currently dreaming of a vast sea of nothingness seeing this Erwin panics about where he is until he realizes he is dreaming and what he currently sees is something he can't fathom a large golden tree is within the center of the sea is the 'Imaginary Tree' which was spoken within his mind during which the sea itself is fighting the tree 'Quantum Sea' is the sea itself which was again spoken in his mind while the sea and the tree clashed with each other small leaves from the Imaginary Tree enveloped me and pulled me out of the Quantum Sea and pulled me into the tree enveloping me while making me feel like I'm back with my mother embracing me and telling me about the things we could do as a family which made me teared up in his mind he is he was a child again, safe and secure, protected from the storms of life as he is dreaming he felt the tree enveloping his being embraced with the imaginary tree holding him and giving him the power to change everything around him while bringing his consciousness back to where his body is currently sleeping in bed waiting for the morning clock to ring.
