1 Through the Unknown

In the vast region of space an astronaut is currently drifting like an asteroid, the astronaut's name was Erwin Linestone, and he had always been a fearless explorer. He had ventured to the farthest corners of the Earth, but now he found himself in a place no human had ever been nor seen before.

It had all started when he completed a task when he found a strange purple portal had appeared on the outskirts of the space station where Erwin was stationed. The portal had been flickering and humming with an unknown energy, and without thinking, Erwin had decided to step through it. He had been on a routine spacewalk when the portal had beckoned him like a siren's call.

As he emerged on the other side, he found himself in a place that defied all logic. Stars of colors he had never seen before glittered in the vast cosmic expanse. The void around him pulsed with strange energies, and he realized he was no longer in the familiar territory of the solar system.

His heart raced, but his training kicked in. He checked the readings on his wrist console and discovered that his tether had been severed during his journey through the portal. Panic welled up within him as he realized he was completely alone, stranded in the uncharted depths of space.
