CHAPTER 469

Right before they left, Blade went back to his room locked the door and hurried to where he had kept her hood and some of her belongings from her trip all this while.

Taking them out he kept them on his bed and began to go through them again. His fingers glazed on top of them as he recalled most things about her.

Finally, his hands touched her hood. It still had her scent on it. He picked it up and brought it to his face as his eyes dropped close. He inhaled deeply, assaulting his nostrils with the sweet smell of her being as more and more of their memories together filled his mind.

"Oh Astrid, my Astrid. I miss you, love. I miss you so much."

His mind went back to the first time he met her. How he saw her barely alive and quickly saved her. Although he had seen her a bit back in the human forest he did not get a clearer view of her beauty unlike when he met her in person.
