Deep in the forest as well, the beast hurried as fast as their hinds could take them and because they were beginning the journey again from the Elven forest, it took them a longer period of time to reach Fortland.

They had just gotten close enough, taking the other route, one different from where the elves took. 

By now they had gotten to the land of the sorcerers. Thank goodness to their wings, they could fly and cover much more distance than they would have if they were on foot.

As the thunderstorms started, it had scared them but Nerissa being there with them did more than just to calm them down.

At first, it was Snow who was on the move and in a frenzy about something bad happening to Astrid.

He was already tempted to link his mind with hers and communicate with her but when he started, Nerissa quickly yelled at him to stop.

"What is the matter? Master must be in danger."
