After feeding the soup to Larcen, Rebecca placed the bowl on the table that was placed in between their beds and locked the door from the inside before she lay on the moderately soft mattress. 

She turned around on the bed, her body now lying sideways as she looked at Larcen who still had his eyes closed. At first, she let out a light sigh but then as she continued to look at him, a slight smile bloomed on her face. 

Although she did not notice the change in her own facial expressions, she slowly closed her eyes and went to sleep, not noticing the foreign entity that had been staring down at her for the past few hours.

Once Rebecca fell asleep, a small silhouette made of light appeared in the room. It looked like a human child but there were no facial features or hair. It didn't even have any fingers or toes but it slowly levitated towards Larcen.
