40 Everything Leads to the Bunker

Larcen stared at the food that Bull had made for them and the smell got his mouth-watering. The guy had used the meat from last night as toppings and that simply elevated the smell and taste. He extended his hand towards Bull and the latter lifted the large saucepan from the portable stove before using chopsticks to push the noodles into Larcen's bowl.

"I want some more soup.", he demanded and Bull simply nodded before pouring some in.

He slurped his noodles happily and opened the shop before doing the editing.

'Should I really sell these.... Ugh, I want these people to seriously fight but this is so annoying.', he thought as he listed the gun, ammo, and magazines.

Larcen slurped in more noodles while the other two stared at their screens.

"Oy Bull, we need to buy this!", Ben said excitedly and bought the pack before the others could say a thing.

A box of ammo, three magazines, and two pistols appeared in front of him.

"Hey Jack, this thing is the same as yours!", he said as he looked up, only to see Larcen nodding.

"Yeah, I am his first customer. He sells things to me privately when he is in a good mood."

Bull silently bought his own beginner's pack while Larcen went back to his screen. He listed the pistols, magazines, and box of bullets after disabling the announcement feature.

Once that was done, he switched his screen to the newly organized Merchant's skill chest screen he had made and sighed when he saw the new skill he had got a few hours and remembered the disappointment he felt when he found out that there was a 20% chance of not receiving any skill.

'I should have read its description properly... oh well, it's already a great thing that I can sell them to others so I guess that is good. Quick stab huh... does it even have value?'

Lost in thought he clicked on the info option at the corner of the Merchant's skill chest before re-reading it.

{

Merchant's Skill Chest: Costs the same as the Skill Chest but the skills received can be sold, used, and combined to create a random skill of a higher grade.

10 COMMON SKILLS = 1 RARE SKILL

10 RARE SKILLS = 1 EPIC SKILL

10 EPIC SKILL = 1 UNIQUE SKILL

}

He glanced at the remaining points he needed to open another chest and closed the screen before going back to the shop again.

'Seventy more to go... why are there fewer goblins today? Oh wait, I can totally do this can't I? How did I even ignore this ability of mine? Heh, some of my problems should be solved for now.'

Note from Merchant: I am one of the people who run the Tower of Hope. This is urgent news that we have discovered and it is about the monsters. The goblins are the weakest of all monsters that can be spawned so I recommend all of you guys to fight and get strong as soon as possible since we have information that other kinds have also begun to spawn.

Please let this sink into your thick skulls. The weak ones and the ones who cannot fight will be the ones who die first.

Larcen saw the notification and nodded to himself, 'Yeah, this should be good enough. Could be a bad skill but at least I could put it to some use.'

"Hey, is today a special day or something? These guys keep giving away offers. Oh wait, it has a note.", Bull said as he stuffed his mouth with some beef.

"Oh damn, stronger monsters? We can barely kill those yellow goblins without our trap and now there are others too?", Ben asked before drinking all the broth in his bowl.

"Hey guys, I have an Idea. Let's talk to Chrona and get him back into the group first. I'll talk to GunmanLarcen and ask him for some bikes to make this plan efficient. Me and Betty actually did see those monsters so the message is not false.

Here's the plan, you guys will roam around on your motorbikes and attract the goblins' aggro before leading them into this road. We won't make a blockade and I will be waiting here for you guys.

Once you guys enter this street, you speed up to the max and stop behind me. Once you are behind me, I start shooting and kill them all. This will be way more efficient compared to the thing we are doing right now.

If there are a lot of goblins, you guys can join me and shoot at them."

The two of them nodded but stayed silent for a few seconds, thinking about the plan and Ben was the first one who agreed to it.

"Sure. I miss Chrona already so it will be fun having him back. Anyways, do you know why he left? He said something about a deal with you and walked off to join the others."

"A deal, yes. But I don't really understand why he proposed leaving. I only cared about him getting off behind my back for being with Anna. In return, he wants me to do something for him. I was bored so I simply said yes and now I regret it."

Bull sighed, "Sure the plan is good but Chrona... I think it's because of his brother. That kid is living with the bunker guy along with his girlfriend and I doubt the experience is pleasant when you see someone else take your girl in front of you. Oh before you ask, his brother was taken as hostage when Chrona threatened to kill the guy because he made unrealistic demands."

'Bunker guy again, huh?', Larcen thought as he nodded.
