Xin surveyed the forest's edge, relishing the refreshing morning breeze on his skin. He raised his gaze to the sky and observed as the sun ascended gradually, casting a warm golden radiance on the canopy. The tranquil surroundings were deceptive, and Xin was acutely aware that he couldn't afford to lower his guard during the decisive exam.

The exam proctor flashed a mischievous grin as he spoke.

"A pretty lady like you shouldn't be wandering around here all alone. Allow me to escort you out of here.

Xin furrowed his brow in confusion as he observed the exam proctor's strange behavior. However, he didn't have long to dwell on it as the proctor abruptly attacked, sending a powerful surge of water hurtling towards him. Acting swiftly, Xin jumped aside, narrowly dodging the blast as it collided with the ground where he had been standing mere seconds before.

The proctor chuckled as he watched Xin's quick reaction.

"You're quite nimble, I see. But can you keep up with me?"

Xin gritted his teeth in frustration as he realized that he couldn't use his hax in this exam. He had to rely solely on his combat skills and quick reflexes, which were clearly being put to the test by the exam proctor's water manipulation abilities.

With a scowl, Xin leaped forward and lunged at the proctor with a series of quick jabs and kicks. But the proctor was too fast, dodging effortlessly and sending another wave of water towards Xin. Xin leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding the wave, and prepared to retaliate.

However, the proctor expertly dodged and responded with a blast of water that sent Xin tumbling to the ground

The wave hit him squarely in the chest, knocking him backwards. Xin saw his chance and charged towards him, wielding the branch like a weapon. The exam proctor stumbled backwards, trying to regain his balance, but it was too late. Xin swung the branch again, striking him across the face and knocking him to the ground.

The exam proctor said, grinning despite his defeat.

"You're a force to be reckoned with, my dear."

Xin grinned, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him.

"Don't ever underestimate me"

The exam proctor looked surprised, but he quickly regained his composure.
