Subsequent Fall Part 68: Jaimie vs Titan

"Where the real battle begins is if you can survive through the magical attacks." Titan looked through the fog as he sensed the heat around her and used that at the target. "Annihilate." Millions of invisible slashes closed in all around her as she slammed into the ground hard from a wave of gravity.

Jaimie looked up as she struggled to stand, the slashes collided against her armor as they did not do nearly as much damage as thought. The slashes scratched her armor as she stood up. Gashes were opening across the armor as it was now more of a weight. "One more of those slash attacks and its over." Titan raised his hand as light spears formed and fired at her.

Jaimie dropped the hindered armor across her chest and legs in the moment as her arm armor was minimally damaged. Her helmet started beeping as a distressed Kayla appeared in her visor. 'You can do this, but be warned, I have no data on his attacks or patterns.' Jaimie held up her left arm as the AI saw it.

'The three of us can do it.' Jaimie thought to herself as both AI's looked across the battlescape. Titan rushed in fueled by his own rage and hatred. His goal was murder to the nth degree and he was not going to be stopped. A flurry of punches were thrown enhanced by lightning as Jaimie used her spear to block each punch. All the electric static from Titan's attacks flowed into her necklace.

Titan then realized what that gem was, an elemental gem, one of the rarest things in the universe. And they had two of them. "Where did you get that?" Titan kept the barrage up as most of the gems were shattered, but four whole ones remained.

"Wouldn't you like to know weather boy?" Jaimie spun as the back of her spear smashed against Titan's skull. He stumbled for a step as she slashed open his chest as the blood splattered onto her.

"Well, I would also love to taste your blood, but I guess that will have to wait now won't it?" Titan giggled as he made his blood explode. The force from it made Jaimie reel backwards. She sprinted down the street as she held her spear on her left arm. She knew her shield was coming back soon.

"You need to die." Titan charged in with a solar blade and stabbed it downward. Jaimie snapped her left hand as the shield appeared and blocked the tip of the blade. Titan was shocked as Jaimie stabbed his right shoulder as it burned him. Titan had enough as he summoned a firewall to push her back. It became absorbed into the gem as Titan figured out which one was hers.

He was impressed as the fire was channeled into the spear and the gem glowed softly as the spear filled with radiating energy from the firewall. Jaimie fired a spark forward as a wave of plasma slashed open his chest as he felt the attack was fueled by more than just the magic she was transferring.

Titan realized at that moment. She was the more physically dominant between her and Astral, he has the skills but her strength that came from the attack wasn't magic. It was her bending the abilities and enchantments to her will. "Maximizing what has been given to you due to no other choice, how remarkable." Titan commented as he felt a hole in his chest.

Looking down there was a hole from the plasma Jaimie was using. Titan saw this bluff as he charged in the wound healing delayed by mere moments as Jaimie resorted to her pure strength and slashed off his right arm in one swift attack. He felt the power behind the swing. Feeling the pressure from it he slid to the left. "That is by far the most powerful physical hit I have ever been hit with." Titan giggled as his eyes turned bloodshot.

"But my speed is greater than your skill and reflexes." Titan charged at her as his punches were moving at lightspeed. Jaimie was blocking them to the fullest as she was slowly backing up. The ring was pulling her in the direction of Astral, the two of them could take down Titan and win!

Titan's barrage kept going as light spears formed behind him. Striking at her as she deflected it the best she could. With her shield and her spear she was suffering scratches. Scratches that were adding up. Nothing has gashed her, but her sides were sliced open with shallow cuts as she was lightly bleeding down her sides. Her legs were suffering the same fate as she became shaky with each backwards footstep.

'No one can save me but him. There is no possible way of winning outside of him.' Jaimie had no options as she needed to get the help before it was too late. Titan left a window for her to attack as she launched a kick connecting with his skull as it did not move him an inch. She became shocked as was Titan, his spell worked and saved his skull as Jaimie got hit by a right hook that sent her flying through a building.

She popped right back up with a backflip as she threw her spear as hard as possible at Titan who walked through the rubble. It pierced his chest and stuck there as he looked at it and pulled it out. "That, hurt, now let me repay the pain." Titan threw it back as Jaimie blocked it with her shield, shattering the shield as the spear crashed to the ground.

Her left arm was bleeding from the sheer impact of the spear as the armor on the arm was digging into her skin. She looked over to him as he walked forward slowly. She drew her shortsword with her right arm as Titan grabbed her and threw her through another building faster than she could process.

Looking up she saw a bunch of shadows and blinding white light being fired off. Astral was right next to her. She reached up with her left arm as Titan grabbed it and pulled it back, closing his fingers around her forearm. Crushing it as she let out a blood curdling scream. Astral turned as he pulled out his pistol and opened fire. Titan took the light bullets to the chest as they did little damage to him. Looking down whispering as Jaimie kept screaming from the pain.

"This is where you die." Titan slammed his foot down on her skull.
