Subsequent Fall Part 5: Meetings

"Sir we have one shuttle of a small size asking for an audience, its markings read that of the Independent leader's shuttle." Kayla pointed out to the shuttle as Adam looked at it. "What do you want to do?"

"Tell them to dock next to this bridge and we shall airlock them and see what they have to say. Astral told me what they did. And it worries me." Bags were under Adam's eyes as the rest all looked at him.

"Adam, if you need a rest break, have Alexa guide us and me and James can do the talking." Angel rested a hand on Adam as he nodded. Lying chest down on the couch as the shuttle landed outside of the bridge. The Red Merle extended a chunk of itself to let the guests inside.

Kaenester was escorted by four royal red guards with swords at their sides. Being directed to the bridge by other clones they entered the bridge as there was just the perfect amount of chairs for the seven of them to sit around one table. "Welcome!" Angel chirped as James had an uneasy feeling.

"Thank you for letting us board, we came here to ask for one thing." Kaenester handed over a piece of paper as Alexa hovered above it and read it. "We need help badly, we lost our main strategist due to a horrific power overload accident."

"Why come here to the place that is all about taking down the empire, why not team up with the rebels?" James asked, leaning back in his chair.

"We were caught in the middle of a battlefield and the terrorists are the ones who hit one of our relief supply shuttles. Then the empire went all out on the attack taking the outer layer of our planets and conquering moons." Kaenster dipped his head.

"Both became our enemies at the same time. So we used a robotic army to overwhelm them. Now that we can't think our way out of a wet bag. We are screwed." James laughed a little bit.

"You can hold the line but now you can't take back what you had. That's what I'm hearing." James finally read the paper as Angel bopped him lightly on the head.

"Yes that is what I am saying." Kaenester looked away in shame as Angel took the paper from James.

"You want us to fight for you, we are currently recovering from a massive battle so it would take time to even help." Angel spoke as a card hit the table from Adam.

"We aren't helping you, we will be bringing peace to the galaxy our way." Adam was standing from the couch.

James reached over and ripped the paper up as Angel nodded. "We aren't fighting your war, we are fighting ours." Adam smiled. "However, I will call all of the major leaders here eventually, summoning them to a seperate planet. We will discuss peace." Adam waved his hands dismissing Kaenester as the rest watched him walk away.

Their shuttle lifted off and sped away. "Are you sure they will agree?" Angel asked as Adam slowly nodded.

"He has no choice. It's either get beaten by the rebels or the empire, his only opportunity is peace." Adam flicked his wrist as the holomap opened up. "The planet is having preparations on it for this meeting." Adam circled one with his fingers as it was recently purged by the empire before being taken back by Zane and the clones.

"So, what's the plan when we get there? Use the Ambassador as our transport and keep us two by your side?" James twisted his body around. Looking at the screen as he fell backwards off the chair before catching himself with his hands.

"Our most defensively powerful ship. I was going to try out a prototype but that's better. And safer." Adam smiled and ruffled James' hair. "The fourth is Zeta." Zeta popped up on the other side of the room.

"What?"

"Don't worry and just follow my lead." Zeta shrunk back into the background as Adam started working on the appropriate settings for the mission.

"When we go there, there will be danger and a dangerous person?" Angel asked as they all knew the answer.

"Let's not worry about that quite yet. One step at a time." Adam pointed to the doorway. "The meeting will begin when we land. Zeta." Adam paused as the mech got up. "Come and join us." The four left the bridge as Achilles entered the doorway. "Keep the station here and keep it safe, I will be back in roughly three weeks."

"Roger that." Achilles pulled out his tablet and sat down at the bridge. He just was going to make sure nothing terrible happened to the station, and if so, his forces and the AI's would save them.

Adam, James, Zeta and Angel boarded the Ambassador and launched. On the way to the purged planet Adam taught the twins basic math and reading with the help of Zeta. trying to expand their knowledge beyond the normal amount.

The three week trip was peaceful for the Red Merle as all old ships were returned to the milky way for storage as the crews were training with the new upgraded ships. Neigel was happy to take all the credit with the new ships.

The other three clone officers supported their comrade as they all worked well at their projects. Including the next generation of clones. All of which were under the same spell as the rest.

Adam entered orbit of the purged planet. "James, Angel, you know how some words have a deep meaning behind them?" The twins nodded as their ground shuttle was being prepared. "This planet was named Prim, its beautiful field of flowers covered everywhere as the oceans supported the natural life of it all."

Adam clenched his fist. "Then it became a battleground, ruining the planet and its ecosystem, killing all the native people on the planet." Adam motioned for the two to follow him. "We need to show them the price of war."

"Prim, is that a type of flower?" Angel questioned the meaning behind it.

"Yes, good job picking up on my hint." Adam scratched her head as the four of them boarded the transport as the other three ships came into orbit.

"Rules are to engage if attacked?" Zane asked to clarify.

"Correct, but only God Emperor would be that foolish to do it. And we get to meet the ugly bastard." Adam chuckled on their way down to the planet.
