Kai regained his arm thanks to an S-class healer from another guild, but Astasia still haven't woken up. Despite all the healers and medical equipment that tried to heal her, it was useless.

She wasn't waking up, as if she's in a coma.

Even her guardians are not appearing, which means it's a serious matter, "It's been three days..." Kai whispered to himself.

After she collapsed, the chains and weapon she had disappeared like an ash being swept away from the wind. It was as if a hurricane just happened to occur in a few minutes, and it's gone.

"We have to evacuate her," Jaena told him. She felt sorry for Kai who held tightly on Astasia's hand, but both of their safety was a priority to her, "Kai! You need to get your senses together. She will wake up, but we need to get her to a safer place. That dungeon is still there! The monsters are slowly destroying this place and soon this city will be overrun by them," Jaena smacked the back of Kai's head.

To his surprise, he looks at her as if reality hit him like a truck, "You're right..." he chuckled sadly before drawing his sword and heading out.

He was pissed.

To ease his anger, he decided to help out with the team responsible for protecting the people that needed to evacuate. Slaying monsters that ranged from D to A was no problem to him, but he was lifeless while killing them. What if Astasia never wakes up? Will he remain like this forever?

From the distance, Jaena watched him miserably killing monsters to fill his empty heart while she helped civilians make their way out, "Miss Hunter, will my grandpa live?" a little girl tugged on her armor containing magical buff. She gave her a gentle smile and patted her head, "Of course. Hunters are strong you know? We will protect you guys, so stay with your grandpa at all times, okay?"

"Okay! Thank you Miss Hunter! Please be safe!"

When the last batch of civilians drove off, it was time to fight back. The hunters that escorted the people were now aiding other hunters in the fight, "You three are with me. Charles, take care of team C," Jaena commanded the others.

She was the only one who could keep her sanity after the dungeon break out, which is why she felt the need to lead people. Unfortunately, the monsters endlessly came out one after another through the dungeon gate, as if it was acting as a dimensional portal from another world.

"Wait... A dimensional portal? Maybe these monsters are migrating here... Something must've happened to their world to force them to come to ours," Jaena thought while slaying little imps to cutting the heads of orcs.

"Switch!" another group of hunters appeared as she retreated, breathing heavily. Fighting for hours drained her physically, but when she looked at the distance, Kai was still fighting monsters as if he never broke a sweat. Getting rid of these kind of monsters is like sweeping the floor for him, it's an easy task. However, hey may not be tired physically, but his mentality must be exhausted from thinking about Astasia.

"Is Astasia safe?" Jaena questioned Luther who also watch Kai fight lifelessly from the distance.

"She is, but do something about him. We might need him tomorrow just in case another gate opens up,"

"Yes sir,"

A week had passed ever since Astasia collapsed, and Kai only had gotten worse. Moreover, a new being arrived at the doorstep of earth.

An Elf.

However, the Koreans were in possession of the elf, so they have no information about her other than the fact that she has the ability to make hunters stronger.

"Holy maiden, this young one has potential. He is currently a rank-B, but two weeks ago, he was a rank D," a member of Korea's hunter association bowed in front of the beautiful elf.

Her long silver hair, and green eyes twinkled under the sunlight, "Come," she replied in a majestic voice.

When the man came up to the elf, she placed his hand over his head and a luminous light surrounded his body.

The child definitely felt the power surging through his body, but he remained calm and patient to not anger the elf, "When a war breaks out on Earth, please help protect your people and my people."

She had a sophisticated voice that allured almost anyone who hears it. It was as if a goddess has descended from heaven.

On the other hand, the gate where the demigods came out from had just disappeared. No one knows the reason, but it disappeared into thin air without anyone raiding the dungeon.

In fact, no one was able to raid the dungeon since a barrier formed even if no one came in.

It was weird and mysterious. New and dangerous things keep popping up everyday, and the hunters are clueless about the truth. Just what is going on with the dungeons? The amount of higher rank dungeons are constantly spawning in the most random places, and they're suffering from heavy casualties.

Finally, after almost two weeks of waiting, Astasia's guardians had come out. Everyday, Kai was by her side so he stood up and grabbed Jack's collar, "What the hell happened to her?? Why isn't she waking up?"

"Hey! Let go of my brother!" Jackie slapped his hands away, but it didn't budge and all she received was a glare scary enough to make her take a few steps back.

He's gotten stronger. By mindlessly destroying monsters, he unknowingly gotten more powerful.

"When she uses her true power, she usually goes into hibernation for a few weeks. Though, I'm not sure of how long she will be asleep for because this is only the second time we've seen her use it," Jack explained.

"Isn't there anything we can do?"

"No. Even the worlds greatest medicine cannot help her. It would be like pouring water into a broken cup,"

Kai's heart continued to shatter by the information as he plopped down on the rigid seat. His hands held tightly onto Astasia's the whole time as the guardians remained summoned outside to keep watch of her.

"Hey," Jack started, "Before you were a guardian, have you ever encountered anyone who possessed that kind of power?"

"Brother, we have lived for hundreds of millennium. In those times, we've never even heard about that kind of ability," Jackie replied.

"Is it exclusive just for her or did she make it herself?"

"I don't know. I mean, she's Astasia after all. With her, I always feel like nothing is impossible. Remember the time when she wanted to be the first one to tame the Pegasus? Ever since she heard that no one can ever take the Pegasus, she decided to make a bet with Cassandra and look, she won."

They both laugh at the memory. Cassandra was one of Astasia's strongest guardian who is still sleeping in the summoning room. Due to her powerful presence, Astasia has yet to unlock her and the other top tier guardians.

"She's a bit of a bitch though," Jackie made sure she added that in the end as her brother agreed.
