First Quest (Part 1)

Two Days Later at night

In the dark and dangerous street of Gotham, a woman was walking with an uncommon confidence that a woman wasn't supposed to have, walking alone in Gotham streets. But Mary didn't have to worry about anything as in those small parts of Gotham she had earned the reputation of not to be messed with, having beat up the people who try to attack her

So Without any worry, she walked into a dark alley.

On the roof of the orphanage, a girl was silently laying down looking up at the sky. Her name was Anna, everyone from the older generation had left or sadly died. Meaning she was the oldest kid at present, she was 17 years old. From the point of view of everyone, she had the most chance to succeed in life, second to Alex.

She was both beautiful and smart. Of course with those attributes, a lot of people try to adopt her but clearly, those people didn't have the best intention in mind and she didn't want to leave. As it turns out in a city such as Gotham, beauty comes at a price.

"You are up here again." a voice suddenly cut her contemplation. Not even looking being her she answers.

"Yeah."

Walking beside her, Alex proceeded to lay beside her" You want to talk about it."

"As I'm older than you, this conversation should be reversed."

"Don't be shy it's not the first time you are confessing to me."

"Yeah, Yeah, anyway think for the save again."

"Remember don't go home by yourself again."

"At Least I got you as a backup."

"HAHAHA, By the way, I think it time for you to go to sleep, we got school tomorrow,"

"What about you?"

"I have to wait for someone."

"I still don't get why you are the second in command. I am clearly the older one."

"And I am clearly the more adult one, Now go to sleep."

"Alright alright see you tomorrow," she said as she left.

Now by himself, Alex sits up and stretches out his hand. Out of nowhere, there was suddenly an eagle cry followed by an eagle landing on his arm but just when he was about to pet him he suddenly heard a sound. Alex was somehow familiar with this sound as this was the warning sound the system emits when enemies get in its range.

Not wasting any time Alex got up and proceeded to run to the edges of the building. Looking down he discovered two cars coming to a stop in front of the orphanage. After a few seconds, 2 people got out of each car.

In that split second a bunch of ideas went through his mind as he knew that in a few seconds they would run into the orphanage. But you have to understand he wasn't scared of them he was thinking of what to do next. Coming to a decision Alex pulled up his menu. At present, he had nothing equipped from weapon to armor. Going to the bow square he chose a random bow.

As soon he got out of the menu a wooden bow with spikes appeared in his hand out of nowhere, Smiling Alex pointed it toward one of them as he aimed for a headshot he discovered that he was using the wrong one. You see he could choose from different types of arrows.

Alex possessed 6 types of arrows. Normal arrow going by its name you can already guess that it is a plain wooden arrow, Paralyzing arrow deals more damage than the normal arrow while also having the ability to knock out a target. Poison Arrow, it can intoxicate and weaken its target, Fire arrow have the ability to burn a target on impact, Explosive arrow it possesses a sulfur mixture near the tip resulting in a devastating impact and finally Death arrow its faster and penetrate deeper.

Luckily for the people below Alex decided to use the paralyzing arrow. After taking aim again for the sake of effectiveness he made use of one of his hunting skills, Multi-Shot (Target up to 8 enemies at the same time.) upon making use of the skill 4 red targets appear on top of them, he then releases his arrow. With that, all four of them were knocked out.

After watching his work for a second Alex decided to go down. With that he jumped, did a backflip, and landed on the ground, not taking any damage or affecting the ground. As he walked closer to them he could hear them grunting. Alex then searched the one that seemed like the leader of the group and took his phone out of his pocket.

"Malaka" He quietly said as he discovered that he needed a password. Taking his own phone out, he scrolled through the few contacts he had and called Mary.

"What?"

"So here is the thing, four thugs pull up to the orphanage armed."

"What!!"

"Oh, don't worry, I already took care. I just call to …"

Bang Bang" Alex had to stop mid-sentence as he heard a gunshot coming from Mary's side.
