Denatonium (A.K.A Sam) is the worlds best assassin. At only seventeen her dangerous profession has taken her many places but for the first time ever she has the opportunity to attend a real high school. The only problem is she now must now uncover a new threat to the president as well as protect the president's twins, an almost impossible job, but add the CIA Junior division Alpha team consisting of Tayor, Christopher, Lexi and the overly narcissistic Damion Kamprillos, then it is a recipe for disaster. Fights will be fought, friends (and enemies) made. So sharpen you tongues and your brains because Sam doesn't know what the 'easy way' means.

Damion's P.O.V

"Suit yourself"

I watch as Samantha jumps off the fence and starts to walk away, her strides confident. Out of nowhere a phone starts ringing. I pat my pockets but realise the ringing is coming from behind me, in the field, where Samantha had just thrown her phone. Out of nowhere she sprints passed and jumps the fence in single leap, streaking through the grass like a hound with a scent. She circles for a second before coming to a halt and bending down, reaching into the grass. When she stands back up a phone is pressed to her ear and she is chewing her bottom lip.

I watch transfixed, trying to read her lips and while I've been trained to read people's lips, Samantha has obviously been trained to speak without enabling others to read her lips. Frustrating for me, obviously beneficial for her. She randomly drops to her knees in the grass. I almost rush towards her but a hand on my shoulder holds me back. I turn around and see Tayor, a guarded expression on her face. She shakes her head and pull me back towards the SUV. I hop into the driver's seat and whip my head around to see Tayor already buckling herself back in.

"Why'd you stop me?"

She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms, refusing to say anything. This only heightens my annoyance. My eyes narrow in a glare and I am fully ready to pull out my gun and hold it to her head... Why am I even thinking of pulling my gun out? What the hell is happening? I spin around and put my hands on the wheel taking a few deep breaths to calm down. What is going on? Out of nowhere Tayor speaks up.

"Cause it's Samantha."

That is enough of a reason for my body to calm down properly, yet I still do not understand what had happened. At that moment the passenger seat door opened and Sam slides in. Faint tear tracks can still be seen running down her cheeks but she wipes them away and faces forward before anyone can say anything. For a moment it frustrates me that she doesn't trust us enough to know that she had cried but logic soon takes over and I realise that we only met her yesterday, it wasn't like he was going to spill all her secrets to me, I mean us, anytime soon. Why am I doing that? For no reason what so ever she turns around and looks at the others in the back. She snorts to herself and turns back around.

"Did you just snort?"

Her head whips around to look at me and she pokes her tongue out. I raise my eyebrows in surprise and just stare at her. She grins.

"Just drive Damion, just drive."

Just like that I obey and put my foot on the accelerator as my friends laugh behind me. We accelerate off down the highway, the music turned way up as we sing along like normal teenagers; even if we weren't.

Chapter 9! How'd you like it? Thank you for reading AEP.
