Clarification & Appearances

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for the support you guys have been giving this novel lately! It has been a fantastic journey so far!

I have gotten a couple of comments about the lack of descriptions of the character's appearances, I'd like to explain why I had chosen not to describe them in length.

The first reason is that appearances differ differently in everyone's head as everyone has a different view and taste of their ideal appearances.

The second reason is that describing them is a waste of time, nobody wants to read about how the characters' beauties defy the heavens and instigate wars between nations taking up half of the chapter; I try to make everyone in this novel as realistic as possible so don't expect me to glorify their appearances.

Although if anyone wants to read the descriptions, I will write down a description here as well and post a bunch of images in the comment section.

Ren Ye: His dark gray-pupils droopy eyes were bottomless and indifferent with no fluctuations, he was endowed with a well-defined and sculpted face and features, comparable to the looks of a handsome actor. Instead of having charisma and a powerful presence of an actor, he exuded a rather cold presence to those in his sphere. His jawline and eyebrows were honed perfectly with a sharp edge to them as his skin resembled an unpolished jade, and his nose was high-bridged, his lips were tight; he kept his black hair to his shoulder and had his ears pierced.

Ren Jia: The only similarity she had with her Papa was their eyebrows although hers were more childish. She had a pair of doe and glossy black-pupils eyes, her skin resembled shiny and glowing porcelain and her pointy lips resembled small flower petals. Her luscious black hair was kept to her shoulder length.

He Yi: The middle-aged man in his 50s whose age couldn't be discerned by an ordinary person easily. He had kept his black beard and hair short and trimmed perfectly. He had slightly creased darker skin than Ren Ye and a pair of black-pupil eyes; he was a rather mischievous old man with his mood changing depending on whatever mood he was in.
