45 Incandescent Fury

My body…

Could it be that this is my full-body transformation?

I looked at my hands. It was mostly the same but instead, the claws were much longer. The scales on my body weren't black, but they were kind of dark platinum-like. The arm blades which were made from my other spirito now looked like it actually belonged to my arm; this time, it had scales and the edge of the blade had small but sharp razors.

Sizzle~

I could feel my body overheating because of the surging power traveling through my mind and body.

One of the serpent heads rushed towards me and attempted to take a bite out of me. However, I immediately grabbed its face and slammed it into the ground. I would continue smashing it until it was nothing but a pile of brains.

Seems my strength has soared through the charts, which goes the same for my speed and my senses.

I sensed more of them coming and I immediately stepped to the side. Or that's what I thought I did.

When I stepped, I somehow appeared next to the wall, about 10 meters away from where I was. I didn't even notice how quick I evaded.

All the heads slammed into one spot, all crowded. I had the urge to launch a fire spell to incinerate them.

I charged mana into the palms of my hands but not even a second passed and they were already brimming with energy.

I shot my palms forward and a burning energy ball emanated from my palms. When they struck the legion, blood and flesh flew everywhere. I managed to dodge all of them with my lightning-speed side steps.

I realized that every time I did that, I was leaving a dark afterimage. It not important, I just wanted to point it out because it was cool.

"HIIIISSSSSSS!!!"

There were still a lot more serpents still alive and the ones I just smashed began to regenerate. Damn, even after obliterating them they still regenerate. I need to destroy their source.

I looked up at the dark ceiling. My eyes suddenly and instantly began to adjust to the darkness and everything was clear to me.

On the ceiling, there were multiple cord-like things and the heads were attached to them. All I need to do is to seal the cords from the inside. And to do that, I'll have to cut their heads off and seal them before they regenerate.

Well, no matter how many heads stand in the way, I'll just cut them down. To do that, I'll just have to use my Katana.

I walked over and picked up my Katana. I looked around and I couldn't find my Ninjato or my daggers. Looks like the serpents ate them along with my body.

No worries, I'll just return the favor.

When I took my Katana, I began to wrap it around with Vigor. It then emitted a purple aura.

I'll just fill this thing with every amount of rage I can. With that, I will most definitely destroy this thing.

This thing embarrassed me, almost made me die. But even if I did die, I'd haunt this thing till it suffers from my ethereal torturing.

I couldn't contain it anymore, I was mad... really mad.

I roared and lunged forward, slashing every single head that came my way.

My rage was slowly consuming me and I was slowly beginning to lose the only ounce of humanity left inside me.

I slashed and lacerated everything... all the way up to the cord. When I got there, I filled my palm with burning energy and placed it on the open wound in the cord. I could hear the sizzling sounds as I poured more of my power into it.

After that, there were only about 3 heads left and there was a frightful look in their eyes. I grinned and sheathed my Katana and let my tail hold onto it.

I sprinted forward in godspeed and appeared in front of them. I snatched one of them and another, then I smashed them together. I turned to the last one and it tried to escape. However, I flew up and snatched its neck, then I ripped it out and threw it at the heart.

The heart... I need to destroy it.

Rage began to consume me again and I immediately lost all reasons that held me to my humanity.

I went to the heart and immediately started bombarding it with raw explosive punches.

The longer I kept on showering it with barrages, the more I was consumed by my wrath.

I almost lost myself and would've become something else... something that wasn't human if I hadn't remembered about Aurelia.

I stopped and regained control of my body.

Ahh... that's right. I promised her I'd return.

When I looked back, all that remained of the heart was spilling blood. The heart began to slow down and right when it beat its very last, I heard a faint cry and it began to shake violently.

I killed it. That's good.

But now I think I need to escape.

I looked over at the exit and began flying towards it until I suddenly collapsed.

I landed on the ground and my body had returned to normal again. I was nude. Well, it did eat my clothes so this would make sense.

Seems that taking on my spirito full-bodied leaves a toll. I didn't feel any amount of strength left in me.

Damn, I can't just die after I recovered.

I reached into my shadow storage and pulled out 3 vials and consumed them all.

After that, I felt my energy and stamina restored again, along with strength overflowing my body and a sense of invincibility.

Good thing those potions came in handy. Now, I should start escaping.

I ran down the tunnel and I felt a gust of air blast against my face. If I'm gonna guess, it probably just took its last breath. That is probably where I need to go.

I dashed forward, fighting against the gust of wind.

I managed to navigate through the tunnels and eventually arrived in what looked like the mouth. If I remembered, this thing had barbed tentacles as teeth.

The tentacles noticed me and rushed towards me.

I began concentrating all of my power into my chest and then I released it. I felt my body change at that exact moment.

I felt taller and stronger. Ahh, the feeling of being tall.

Anyway...

I snatched every single tentacle that came at me and ripped them all from their posts. Blood began to overflow the mouth.

I flew over to the entrance and attempted to pry it open, but it just wouldn't budge.

Crap, I need to get out of here. I'm not gonna drown in this disgusting creature.

I flew back and there were two tunnels. One leading down and another leading up. I remember coming from the bottom so if I go to the top, it would be where its eyes are. The eyes... I can escape from there.

I flew up and may have started regretting my choice. It was disgusting to see the insides of an animal's head. I'm not gonna describe it because I just a bit grossed out.

I floated over to one of the eyes and I could see light.

I braced myself and began charging up my energy in every part of my body. I waited until my body glowed at its brightest, then I dashed forward.

BOOM!!!

An explosion erupted right as soon as I slammed into the eye, and when I opened my eyes again, I was above the clouds.

I'm... finally out again. It feels so good to breathe in air that doesn't smell like shit.

I looked over and noticed something was off. I saw the moon, a full moon alongside the regular crescent moon.

This moon was very different, though. It was completely green.

I felt an eerie feeling when I looked at it, but after a while, I kind of shrugged the feeling off.

Well, now that I'm back, I should return to them.

I descended from the sky and looked around. The Lulator was slowly sinking into the lake again, where it belonged. Hmm, I don't think I'll ever want to swim in that place, not that I even did that in the first place.

I landed on the ground and my body felt like it was overheating. Crap, I'm about to run out of energy again.

I looked at my reflection in the water and I noticed my face was completely that of a beast.

My teeth were razor-sharp, and they were exposed as there were no lips or flesh hiding them, which might hinder me from speaking in this form. My eyes were glowing completely purple and my nose wasn't even there. It was sunken in to match a skull's nose. I had two sets of horns around my head; one bent back and the other one surrounding my neck. Lastly, there was one in the middle of my forehead spiking up.

"Seiya, is that you?"

I turned around. Ordos was walking up to me and I could see a clear height difference. I was like a giant.

"Man... you actually look terrifying, though I must say, it's impressive you even made it back you son of a bitch."

Ordos smiled and I couldn't help but grin. I don't even know if I was grinning or not but he probably knew I was doing it.

"Something seems off about you but... I'm guessing it's because of... well this."

He said as he pointed at me. That might make sense since I've completely become something else.

I signaled him to go away and he asked why. I opened my mouth but all that came out was grunts.

Hmm, I need a way to communicate in this form.

I placed fire on the tip of my fingers and wrote in the ground.

"You need to change your clothes?"

I nodded and he asked why again. God damn it.

I came out of my spirito form and yelled at him.

"Because I lost my clothes trying to kill that thing!"

Ordos looked at me and nodded.

"Ahh... is that so..."

Then he looked behind me and chuckled.

"Wh-what are you laughing at?"

"Seiya?"

I heard a familiar voice and I turned around, Aurelia staring at me with puffy eyes. Guilt took over me and I looked down.

I wanted to say something but just didn't have the courage.

She began approaching me and I was ready to take whatever came next. But then she hugged me and I fell on my back with her crying into my chest.

"You dummy, don't you ever leave me again," She said as I felt her tears dripping onto my chest.

That managed to bring all of my emotions back that I cast aside during the fight. I felt myself wanting to cry as well and I did.

"I'm sorry," I apologized. "It's alright though. I did promise I would come back... didn't I?"

I felt a wave of warm emotions filling my body as I hugged Aurelia. I stroked her silky hair which glimmered in the moonlight.

My vision began to blur. Crap, the transformation really takes a toll, doesn't it?

The first time I just a bit fatigued but now I feel really sluggish.

I rested my head on Aurelia's shoulder. I must've made her worry because she kept calling my name.

"Don't... worry... I'm just resting..."

I managed to say before I passed out.

At least it's good to know... I'm back.
