ASOIAF: The white Dragon

The son of Rheagar Targaryen seeks to reclaim his Throne. He'll look and act like Griffith from Berserk, but maybe I'll chage his charcter a bit.

The Trident

His father had left with the King early before dawn.

Septa Mordane had told Griffith and Sansa as they broke fast.

The boy chuckled, as the Septa speculated about them having gone on another hunt.

She rounded on him, "What are you laughing about, boy."

Griffith smiled and was about to retort when Sansa interrupted, by giggling.

The Sept's eyes narrowed suspiciously but eventually decided that it wasn't worth arguing.

Glancing over at Sansa, Griffith winked, and she winked back smiling.

They had always been close, so close in fact that when they were younger, during the cold night that sometimes engulfed the North, they snuck into each other's chambers and cuddled up to keep each other warm.

But now, since they learned of the ways of love and the desires of the flesh, they had ceased their nightly meanderings and stayed in their respective rooms.

Of course, they still enjoyed each other's company and sometimes went out on rides into the far expanse that was the North.

As the conversation turned to the carriage ride the girls would participate in later Griffith decided to excuse himself.

Grabbing his rapier from next to the entrance Griffith stepped outside.

Looking to his side he saw that Moon was sitting beside him.

Griffith chuckled and ruffled the Direwolf's fur, "Good boy."

Looking up at him Moon cocked his head and brushed his nose against the boy's hand.

Standing up straight Griffith took in a deep breath and strode towards the place where the horses had been tied up, Moon following him.

As he made his way through the people carrying their supplies back and forth, he stopped and talked to a few of them.

Asking them how they were, if he could help them and why they had travelled north.

He soon reached the paddock and untying his black stallion he mounted it.

Today Griffith had decided to ride down the Trident in search of his father's rubies, and if he was lucky he'd find Eddard and the King.

Griffith was about to ride out of the camp when a commotion towards its centre caught his attention.

He frowned and sterling his horse around, rode back into the camp.

The scene he eventually rode into made a grimace mar his usually immaculate face.

Sansa hugging Lady in fear, while surrounded by a dozen knights, two of which had their swords drawn.

Riding up behind the man who he had heard laughing a few seconds earlier, Griffith, in a cold icy tone said, "I do not appreciate you intimidating my Lady that way, dog."

The last word was uttered with such venom it made some men's skin crawl.

Griffith saw Sansa look up to him, her eyes softening as relief washed over her nervous form.

He smiled and staring down at the two knights that had drawn their swords, placed his hand on the pommel of his rapier.

"Ser Barristan, Lord Renly, I would ask you to sheath your sword lest a fight break out."

For a moment Griffith thought that he would have to engage in combat but to his relief, Renly let out a hearty laugh.

"I do apologize," he sheathed his long sword, "we were just worried for our Queen and her children."

Barristan Selmy nodded, and lowering his sword, bowed to Sansa, "I am apologising Lady Sansa, we just reacted accordingly."

Renly then grinned up at the black haired youth, "So you must be Robb Stark."

Griffith chuckled, "I must disappoint you Lord Renly, I am not Robb Stark."

He then inclined his head towards both knights, "I am Griffith Snow, the bastard son of Eddard Stark."

Renly nodded in understanding, "Yes, I can see the resemblance.

You two are very alike, standing up to injustice."

"Thank you, my Lord." Griffith then turned to Joffrey who was still standing next to his mother observing the situation with wide eyes.

But as soon as he noticed Griffith's cold blue eyes lock onto him the young prince rushed forward to assist his Queen to be.

Griffith Grinned cockely and bowing towards the Royal family excused himself.

"I shall be going now, have a safe journey your highness." and turning his stallion around he rode off.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter and please tell me if you see any mistakes.

Again not a long chapter but as I've said in my other stories I'm going through a hard time right now so I won't be uploading very long chapters.

Then I hope you have a nice day or night depending on where you are, goodbye ;)
