Part 6: Glass

Taehyung was working in his office. They say he has a lot of enemies, yet no one stood before him. The Mafia finds weak people pathetic, he always had, at one point he hated himself. Why meander the earth just to die, let me make it easy for you? Those are the words written on the left side of his shoulder.

It used to be his fathers saying, that was the only thing he could stand about that man. He steps away from his mounting high papers and walks towards the window, where a fresh cold breeze calls for him.

His eyes roam where the car has stopped in front of his home. He frowns, Seokjin has night shifts why is he here early, but before he can take a step towards them a puffy haired boy with bunny teeth showed his face from the dusty window.

"Jeon Jungkook?" Taehyung looking from the window approached the door and opens it to reveal the boy, who looks at him with wide eyes.

"What are you doing here?" it was Jungkook who said it. Seokjin looks at him with wary eyes.

The fact that Jungkook kept seeing this man lefts an insipid taste in his mouth. He smells. Jungkook can never seem to understand the man's eyes. It sometimes makes him wonder, why does this man look at him such away?

"Jungkook you wanted to come to see Taehyung, why are you acting like this?" Seokjin says to him and Jungkook pouts and for some reason, the mafia seems confused and bothered.

Taehyunng has never seen Jungkook in person, only in live chats and facetime that's it. Until recently, but he always had guards.

"You came for me?" Tae questions the boy. As he does so he tries to control himself. He had convinced himself a few days ago that he is bad for the boy.

"Kim Taehyung how many times do I have to tell you that you should be careful. What is this?" The Doctor points at the patch of blood on Taehyung's shirt. Taehyung didn't see that he was bleeding because he was too busy to take care of the bullet wound.

"Kim Taehyung", Jungkook whispered.

FlashBack

"Jungkook what is your biggest fear?", Taehyung asks while licking his ice cream making Jungkook nervous for some reason. They both were face timing each other.

"I don't know, my biggest fear is probably losing the people I care about", Jungkook looks at Taehyung who nods. "What about you?" 

"Um, I fear that I would never get out of here" after he said that everything fell silent.

"Tae---

"It's okay. Why do you like me?" Jungkook role his eyes because Taehyung asks the same question every single day.

Flashback ends

"Jungkook are you alright?" it was Jin speaking. Jungkook was laying on a bed, with a slight confusion on his face. He didn't really see anything, but the extremely white ceiling with a luxurious chandelier hanging from it.

Taehyung was nowhere to be found. He didn't want the bunny to see him. Knowing now he can approach the older because there is no way he remembers him, but why is he here?

Taehyung took a cigarette out ready to light it up when Jungkook walks in unexpectedly. He was amused by how the older wasn't scared of him. Jungkook usually has multiple guards attached to him. I wonder why he doesn't have a single one with him now.

"Why did you lie?", Jungkook stands by the door furious At the man. He didn't have any business to say anything to this ludicrous, but he was here and he doesn't know if he'll ever be here again.

"What do you mean?" Taehyung sits on his desk and started to look at some of the papers on the table. He wasn't reading them, no. He was worried about what the demon inside of him can do if the boy continues to open his mouth.

"First you lied, then you---

"I what?" Taehyung interrupted. He takes out his cigarette again, but this time he actually lights it up. Jungkook felt disgusted being in this guy's presents. He hates every single thing about his personality. Except for the fact that he used to know him, the real him.

Why in the hell did he change so much?

"Let me ask you a question Jungkook", Taehyung walks towards Jungkook with a straight face. Jungkook was actually scared. For some reason he felt claustrophobic the second Taehyung stands right in front of him.

"Why are you here?" Taehyung brings the cigarette to his mouth taking in the toxic. Jungkook hated it, he hates when people harm their bodies. Especially with---that.

"I—

"Jungkook, what is the reason that you have decided to step foot inside my office? Should I--- No---I don't ever want to see you inside of my home again", Taehyung says bitterly. He puts the cigarette inside of his mouth again and now blows the smoke on Jungkooks face. In which he automatically started to cough.

Taehyung takes Jungkook hands, opens his office door, and pushes him out. Jungkook stumbled back with fear in his eyes. And it wasn't because Taehyung pushed him out, it's because Taehyung doesn't care if he got hurt.

Before Jungkook was thrown out the door, Taehyung cigarette ashes fall on his arm, he didn't notice he got burn until Taehyung grabbed him exactly there.

"Jungkook what happened?" Jin was actually running late, but he didn't want to leave Jungkook with Taehyung. Jungkook shakes his head, doesn't say anything, because he himself was too shocked to even open his mouth to say anything.

"Did he do something? Did he hurt you?", Jin looks at Jungkook who still wasn't saying anything.

"Let me take you home", Jin grabs Jungkook by the hand and drags him out of the house. For some reason, deep inside,  Jungkook didn't want to leave. He wanted to go back and ask Taehyung why is he pushing him away?

Jin froze when he spots Park Jimin walking towards him. Jimin didn't see them yet, he was too busy on his phone to notice Jin was there. Walking closer to the two Jimin finally looks up to them too.

"Oh hey Jin", Jin just smiles and pulls Jungkook into the car before Jimin could see him. Jungkook saw the man and he knew. He can tell who he was.

"Park Jimin", Both Jin and Jimin froze at what Jungkook just said. Now Jimin only froze because he knew this voice. Jimin took a few steps back and turns around seeing the black hair boy in front of him. 

"Kook".
