1 Chapter 1 Will You Accept It?

The world was filled with cultivators, fighters, mages, summoners, beast tamers...etc. There was no limit to what a person can choose. All these are for just one thing: To fight off the monsters appearing through space fractures later called Gates.

Each Individual has an enormous background and has a clan backing them. The top Ranker of the Heavenly Generals Generation was Ryug. The king of fire domain and the most hardworking one.

As he was stronger, he was loved by all and always a centre of attention. He never abuses his power and always treats everyone equally.

He loved a girl named Caroline, the second ranker. She likes to show off her powers and bullies those who are weaker than her. As Ryug loved her, he didn't care about her personality. All he needed was her care and attention. One day, the snake bared its fang.

He was raiding a Gate that seemed like a tomb with caroline and her cousin, the fire magic swordsman. While he was fighting the boss monster, he was stabbed in the back. Ryug didn't feel anything until he coughed blood from his mouth.

He turned to see the person who stabbed him. His worst nightmare came true. Everything started to turn black. The person who stabbed him was caroline, the one he loved. His mind started to crumble.

"Why.." Ryug whispered in pain.

"Hehehe...Did you think a girl like me will love a trash like you?"

Gilbert sneered at the dying Ryug. Caroline looked at Ryug and said,

"I want my hubby to become the strongest and I never loved a loser like you. I just wanted to kill you and get your origin core make him stronger" she kissed Gilbert again.

Ryug's anger was at its peak. As the owner of the fire domain, he still had his connection over his origin core. The origin core in caroline's hand glowed,

Ryug yelled and hit both of them simultaneously. They were thrown out of the gate as the force was able to tear the space.

The fire domain lost all its power and became a barren land with no sign of life or power.

Ryug lost his balance and collapsed on the cold floor of the tomb. He felt his consciousness fading slowly.

"I guess this is the end for me"

Ryug accepted his fate as he couldn't do anything. But, a strong sense of hatred filled his heart. He wanted revenge but there's nothing he could do. He can't even move his finger. The poison slowly made its way to Ryug's heart.

Unknown to him, his blood flowing on the carved words on the floor. The floor lit up and a rune circle appeared above it. Ryug was shocked to see the magic circle.

Four runes in diamond shape appeared around the circular rune.

Runes started staking up above one another. Heavy pressure landed on Ryug's body, it seemed to crush him.

'I… I don't want to die like this.'

Power started to well up in the runes and it was only a matter of time until it descends.

Swiiiishhh….

'Only if, only if I had one more chance!'

Ryug's eyes shot open wider.

It happened then. The power on the runes shot down causing a mass destruction. Ryug's body was blown apart.

A crack formed on the floor.

'Wha-what's going on here?'

Ryug couldn't hide his astonishment.

It was then, the voice of a male he had never heard of before sounded inside the tomb.
